Bollywood and Southern actress Pooja Hegde who has geared up for the release of her Telugu film, Maharshi opposite Mahesh Babu has hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

According to a report in IB Times, Pooja Hegde’s car was apparently seized by Hyderabad Police after her manager was caught in a drink and drive case on May 1.Report further states Pooja was accompanied by her team and manager after Maharshi pre-release event but she was not on the driving seat.

The actress’ car has reportedly been seized by the police and also her manager’s driving license as he was driving the car.However, the actress’ team has denied Pooja’s involvement in any such incident.

A team-member stated that Pooja wasn’t in Hyderabad when the incident allegedly took place.Talking about Maharshi, the film stars Pooja Hegde, Mahesh Babu and Allari Naresh in the lead roles.

The film is written and directed by Vamsi Paidipally and is all set to release on May 9th.

Recently, character artist and former MAA President Sivaji Raja has vowed to showcase stars and give a ‘return gift’ to actor Nagababu. And he ridiculed the mega actor with his choice of words after the later contested as Janasena MP from Bhimavaram.
