Four Hours Runtime – Maharshi’s Latest Headache!
Makers of Maharshi had a hard time in convincing Mahesh for May release as the superstar’s track record in the month of May has been very bad thus far.
Mahesh insisted upon April release, but somehow producers convinced him for May 9th release. This date has been a super successful one for Aswini Dutt, one of the producers of Maharshi.
With the release date locked for May 9, team Maharshi heaved a sigh of relief as they have extra time to wrap it up. However, now they have another headache to deal with.
According to reports, the runtime of first edit of Maharshi has given a shock to its makers. They had brought down the four hours footage to three hours twenty minutes after a lot of careful editing.
Now they need to bring it down below the three hour mark, which is not going to be an easy task as they will have to edit out some important portions for the same.
Buzz has it that they might need to edit out a song and a fight from the final cut to make sure the runtime doesn’t exceed the 180 minute mark.
Pawan Kalyan Fans and Friends Joining TDP
Pawan Kalyan has immense fan following. Even many young actors emulate him and have declared their allegiance to him on public forum. One such fan is actor Kaushal Manda of “Bigg Boss” winner.
In a press meet held last week, Kaushal said that he considers Pawan Kalyan as his guiding force and takes inspiration from him.
Despite being fan of Pawan Kalyan, Kaushal is not interested to join Jana Sena party. Instead, he joined Telugu Desam party and has announced that he would campaign for the Telugu Desam party in ensuing polls.
Similarly, comedian Ali who is close buddy of Pawan Kalyan is all set to contest as MLA on TDP ticket.
Ali is one of the select persons from Tollywood to attend the Jana Sena launch. Despite their close friendship, Ali is not contesting on Jana Sena ticket.
Why is that Pawan Kalyan’s die-hard fans and close buddies are not showing interest in Jana Sena?
RRR: Aluminum Factory for Music Sittings Too
Tollywood’s top director Rajamouli has made Aluminium Factory in Kondapur as his new residence.
Rajamouli and his entire family members (kids, relatives and all) generally move in to the studio where his shoot takes place.
Earlier, Prasad Labs in Banjara Hills used to be their favourite work place. During “Baahubali”, Ramoji Film city was their second home.
Now, Rajamouli took Aluminium Factory on a lease for nearly two years and made his art director to create a makeshift plush office with all modern amenities and comforts. He is operating from this new abode.
Unlike other filmmakers, Rajamouli doesn’t like to go to foreign place or any other holiday resort for story sittings or music sittings.
He does all this in Hyderabad itself. Now Aluminium Factory has become his ground for music sessions as per M M Keeravani’s tweet.
“RRR” has begun music sittings and its new shoot schedule will also commence later this month.
Naga Babu Changed Track for Sri Reddy?
The MAA elections are seeing many twists and turns. Shivaji Raja and Naresh are fighting for the post of MAA president.
It is no secret that Megastar Chiranjeevi has been supporting Shivaji Raja and Srikanth’s panel because actor Naresh made some serious allegations against Chiranjeevi’s fund raising US trip last year.
Chiranjeevi hurt with his comments because Megastar had nothing to do with its failure.

Naidu’s Love For Son Upsets Ganta
Senior Telugu Desam Party leader and Andhra Pradesh minister for higher education Ganta Srinivasa Rao is said to be fretting and fuming at party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu these days.
Reason: Naidu is bringing pressure on Ganta to vacate Bhimili assembly seat in Visakhapatnam to make way for his son and IT minister Nara Lokesh.
Apparently, Naidu who has been desperately searching for a safe seat for Lokesh to step into the state assembly and he found Bhimili is the ideal constituency for the same.
Naidu’s decision has obviously upset Ganta, as he was not even consulted before the party president took the decision. What is more, it was leaked to the media much before it was discussed in the party.
Ganta has been nurturing Bhimili constituency for the last five years and has taken up several developmental works, making it a strong forte of the TDP. Moreover, Ganta has also a lot of business interests in the constituency.
Now, with Naidu taking a sudden decision to field his son Lokesh from Bhimili, it is all over again for Ganta. He has to now choose another constituency to contest.
It is learnt Naidu has asked Ganta to choose among Visakhapatnam (north) or Gajuwaka or Chodavaram, where he will have to face a tough contest from YSR Congress party.
Ganta is understood to have lamented before his friends that Naidu has made him a sacrificial goat for the sake of his son.
Had he known about Naidu’s plans much earlier, he would have taken a decision to take a plunge into another party. Since it is the election time, he is hesitating to defect to other parties.
Will Dadi’s entry help Jagan in polls?
It is quite common to witness “aya rams and gaya rams” jumping from one party to another before any elections.
Those who cannot get tickets in their parent parties will not hesitate to jump into the rival party which they criticized till the other day.
Normally, political parties can admit such turncoats only if they really have considerable cadre support and monetary strength and of course, acceptability in public; and not because of their past glory.
On Saturday, former minister from Anakapalle Dadi Veerabhadra Rao joined the YSR Congress party along with his son Dadi Ratnakar Rao in the presence of YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in Hyderabad.
But one wonders whether Dadi would be of any help to YSRC in Visakhapatnam. May be Jagan thought Dadi would neutralize the impact of former minister Konathala Ramakrishna, who is all set to join the Telugu Desam Party.
Sources close to political circles in Visakhapatnam say Dadi is a spent force and Jagan should not have taken him into the party. Even if he joins, he should not be given the party ticket to contest the elections.
Dadi had been associated with the TDP for a quite long time and was, no doubt, one of its important leaders in north coastal Andhra. However, over a period of time, he lost his sheen.
He lost the elections twice in 2004 and 2009. In spite of that, he was given the MLC seat by TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu.
But when he was denied the MLC for a second term, Dadi came out of the TDP and joined the YSR Congress party before the last assembly elections. But he could not stay in the YSRC for long, as he did not get any expected prominence there.
So, he quit the YSRC in 2015 making wild allegations against Jagan, saying the latter had no respect for seniors and he was made to suffocate in the party.
Later, he started sending feelers to TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu that he was ready to get back into the party. But, Naidu did not give any response to Dadi.
Frustrated with his failed attempts, Dadi again started attacking Naidu. He even tried to join Jana Sena, but Pawan Kalyan ignored him after realizing that he was of no use.
Now, Dadi is back in the same YSRC party which he had criticized in the past. Jagan should be way of such leaders who have no consistency in their thoughts and ideologies.
Since he has already been joined the YSRC, Jagan should keep a close watch on him before giving him any posts and positions

Bollywood thriller Badla also opened on a solid note and is likely to finish the weekend on a high as the word of mouth is super positive from all corners.
It is a very dull weekend for Telugu box office with no notable films hitting the marquee this Friday.
Last week’s release 118 is already into profits and is set to have another good weekend at the box office. The makers are hoping that it would pick up in overseas markets, where its business has been on the lower side till now.
All notable films have been pushed to March 22 and after because of the exams season. The film business in Telugu states will remain dull for another two weeks.
Bollywood trade has been on the rise while the Southern markets are struggling due to off season.
TDP data stolen by Telangana under a conspiracy: CBN
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, here on Saturday, alleged the Telugu Desam Party’s data was stolen by the Telangana government under a deep-rooted conspiracy with the YSR Congress.
The TDP chief said the conspiracy was aimed at destabilising the state and destroying the TDP.
At a news conference, Naidu showed some documents as evidence of the conspiracy. He claimed it all began on February 19 with YSR Congress leader Vijay Sai Reddy writing a letter to the Election Commission alleging the TDP had illegal access to digital data of individuals.
Naidu said on February 22, the YSR Congress submitted a memorandum to the Election Commission and the very next day the police in Hyderabad conducted a raid on IT Grids, the company that was providing IT services to the TDP.
“The police action was illegal as the raid was conducted without any complaint,” Naidu said, alleging the data base prepared by the TDP over the last two decades was taken away by the police and given to the YSR Congress.
The TDP chief said the Telangana Police questioned IT Grids Chief Executive Officer D. Ashok and four other employees.
“It was on the midnight of March 2 that a complaint was filed,” said Naidu, alleging both the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government and the YSR Congress were caught red-handed.
He said after registering a case, the police alleged the company had access to data of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
“Who has given you the power to take action? We also have sovereign powers. The Chief Secretary of Telangana could have contacted the Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh and brought the issue to his notice,” Naidu said.
The Chief Minister said the theft of TDP data had left the party immobilised at a crucial time when elections were round the corner and the party was in the process of selecting its candidates.
Naidu said under the conspiracy, the YSR Congress, the TRS and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had made a beeline to complain to the Governor.
The TDP leader warned that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao would have to pay a price for stealing the TDP data and for filing false cases.
Which Indian Company Got Highest H-1B Rejections?
It is already known and evident that US immigration and border security department have been working on reducing the number of foreign workers, mainly with work-visa H-1B. The Trump’s government has been imposing strict rules to cut down a large number of foreign workers.
The US citizenship and Immigration department has recently revealed the statistics on the number of visas rejected in the fiscal year 2018 and for which organisation employees they have refused to extend or approve the visas.
The highest number of H1-B visas were raised by Infosys and Cognizant, in which Cognizant raised more than that of the Infosys. Out of all visa requests raised by Cognizant, the USCIS rejected 3,548 petitions and this remains the highest rejection number for the year 2018.
US Immigration rejected 2,042 visa requests of Infosys and 1,744 of TCS. Only 6 Indian companies (TCS, Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Tech Mahindra and HCL) in a total of 30 Companies raised foreign worker visa in the USA, and only 16 percent of total visa requests raised by these 6 companies got approved, i e just 2,145 approvals.
The number of H-1B visas approved by the US govt for these 6 companies together is still less than the total number of visas approved for Amazon company. Though the 6 companies refused to comment on high rejection rate of visas, expert opine this obstructs the IT development eventually.
Jagan Stunned By Young Lady IPS Officer!

Nirav Modi’s video from London streets will leave you surprised
Fugitive Billionaire, Nirav Modi, is currently wanted by the Interpol for the criminal breach of trust and cheating issues. The latest news published by a popular newspaper is that The Telegraph reporter has found Nirav on London streets.In a two-minute clip shared by the newspaper, the billionaire, who is wanted in India in a Rs. 13,000 crore bank fraud case. He was walking briskly and the reporter tried to ask a few questions to which he repeatedly said, “no comments”.
The reporter asked whether he is still in the diamond business. He also asked if he has applied for political asylum, and how long is he intended to stay in the UK. Modi did not respond to any of these. He wore a black jacket which costs around a whopping $10,000 and with a huge makeover in his style.

Earlier, he was accused in the Punjab National Bank scam and later he left India and absconded for a few days. After seeing the viral video, the Congress asked questions like why don’t PM Modi’s government track Nirav like British journalist did and who is the government trying to protect.

IT Grids CEO Ashok files quash petition
Ever since the data theft case came to light, it has been full of twists and turns. In the recent development, the IT Grids company CEO Ashok has approached High Court of Telangana with a petition to quash the illegal cases filed against him. Ashok has filed a quash petition in this issue.
While Telangana police already registered a case against IT Grids, Telangana government formed a SIT (Special Investigation Team) to speed up the probe. Writing to the court that the case against him was fabricated, Ashok had sought a stay on the proceedings as an immediate relief.
His petition is expected to come up for hearing either on Saturday or Monday. Ashok, in has petition, informed High Court that IT Grids did not involve in any kind of data theft.
Lakshmi’s NTR is Not Revenge on Balakrishna
It is well-known in industry circles that Ram Gopal Varma is one among the directors who were considered to direct NTR biopic with Balakrishna as the lead. RGV had also announced that he will be making NTR biopic with Balayya and subsequently made a voice over and released it publicly. However, things had changed quickly then and due to some reasons Ram Gopal Varma was shown the door. Later, Ram Gopal Varma has announced Lakshmi’s NTR and that has been courting controversy after controversy and creating a lot of heat ahead of the film’s release on 22nd March, 2019.
Amidst speculations that Ram Gopal Varma has made Lakshmi’s NTR as “revenge” on Balakrishna for denying doing NTR biopic with him, RGV has finally responded and clarified to those rumours. RGV said, “I did meet Balakrishna and discussed about NTR biopic longtime ago. But things haven’t materialized between us. My idea is different from his idea. I have always wanted to tell the story of Lakshmi Parvathy and NTR. I’ve been interested in narrating in that point. But Balayya wasn’t interested in that. We fell apart on that and we have moved on.”
Ram Gopal Varma said this is the reason for not directing NTR biopic. He said Lakshmi’s NTR is not a revenge on Balakrishna or anyone. He said he has not made Lakshmi’s NTR due to any ego issues or sort. Ramu said Lakshmi’s NTR will bring out the facts to the fore. He said NTR would bless him from heaven for showcasing facts. RGV said there are no political objectives behind Lakshmi’s NTR.
Not Scared of Threats – RGV
RGV also said there is no need for anyone’s permission to make a film on what happened in public. He said dethroning of NTR and coup against him at Viceroy hotel had taken place in public. RGV said he is not scared of any threats. Admitting that he has been receiving “threats” from many over Lakshmi’s NTR that the film’s release would be stopped and screening would be held back, RGV said he is not scared of any sort of threats. He said he will deal with such threats in his own way. He said even he can issue threats to those who are issuing him threats. “I can threaten back those who threaten me,” said RGV.

Calling himself as a witness of the chappal attack that took place on legendary NT Rama Rao outside the gates of Viceroy Hotel, leading comedian Prithvi of ’30 years industry’ fame, has launched a scathing attack on AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu now.
Sharing his thoughts at Lakshmi’s NTR audio launch event, Prithvi said, “Back then when NTR and Lakshmi Parvathi are outside Viceroy Hotel, I’m covering the incident for Siticable as I used to work as a Program Producer for them. I’ve seen it with my eyes that chappals are hurled against NTR and today Varma has shown the same. I’m trying my level best to find out if there are any VHS tapes of that incident still stored, such that we could show them to the public”.
Later he added that whoever is talking about Lakshmi’s NTR movie is not a fan of YSR Congress. He accused that some TV channel folks are trying to project whoever talks about this film as supporters of YS Jagan.
Looks like Prithvi is adding more masala to the promotions of Lakshmi’s NTR, but we have to see how TDP folks will respond to his fresh salvo.
