Pawan’s Satire On Chandranna And Indiramma Schemes

Whatever the project or airport or a scheme the Congress party names, it will be either Indiramma or Rajeev Gandhi’s names. And whatever the TDP does, it will have NTR’s name and recently they started using Chandrababu Naidu’s name too. And now, the Janasena President takes a dig at this.

“When Congress is in power it names all schemes as Indiramma schemes. And TDP is now going ahead with the name Chandranna. But if Janasena comes to power, I will not name it like Pawan Kalyan Bheema Padhakam”, says Pawan Kalyan, erupting his cadres into huge laughs.

He later added, “As we claim today that ours is Andhra Pradesh state, it is due to the fast unto death of Potti Sriramulu. But where are we honoring them? We will name our schemes after those legendary leaders”. One can understand the feeling of Pawan Kalyan because many big projects in the country are named by Congress folks with Indira and Rajiv’s names.

However, if Pawan should really get a chance to rename or name new projects with such great Telugu personalities, probably he should devise more of vote-turnout strategies in his political design. Else, all these speeches might go in vain.

Vikramarkudu Sequel Is In Pipeline After RRR

An interesting rumor is doing rounds about director SS Rajamouli’s next film, while he is on his flight to Kolkata to start the next schedule of much hyped RRR movie. Though this leading director never plans his next moves in advance, this time they say, he planned one.

Though there was buzz earlier that Rajamouli will carve a film with Mahesh Babu after RRR, reports are coming out that the director might make a Hindi-Telugu bilingual after this Charan-NTR starrer releases. He is said to have signed a deal with a Bollywood movie house in this connection.

Apparently, Rajamouli is contemplating the idea of making a sequel of Vikramarkudu movie that featured Raviteja in Telugu version. The same film got remade in Hindi as Rowdy Rathore and that one also became a smashing hit. Now Rajamouli is thinking to make a sequel with a Bollywood star in the lead, say rumor mills.

Video: TRS minister & MLA dance at a public meeting

The ruling TRS party is busy with the preparatory works for the Lok Sabha elections and its working president, KTR is visiting all the Parliament segments. On Friday, he held a review meeting of Malkajgiri constituency and at this event, TRS minister and MLA danced on the stage before KTR arrived to entertain the crowd.

The minister is Ch Malla Reddy and Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao. The video of the two TRS leaders dancing is going viral. First it was the Kukatpally MLA Krishna Rao who shook his leg, then minister Malla Reddy joined him. The rest of the TRS leaders on the stage tried to their best as well, no one had competed with Malla Reddy and Krishna Rao.

TRS wants to win 16 out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats this time and play a crucial role in the national politics. KTR is assigned this task and so he was excluded from the cabinet.

#BigBoss2 winner Kaushal Manda want to make maximum use of his newfound fame and we hear that he is trying to get a big film, a big project and now an MP ticket. And here goes an insider story being heard about him.

Until Kaushal won the Big Boss contestant, none would have asked him for his caste but those in film circles used to tell that he hails from Brahmin community. Later when he won this reality show, slowly it started getting everywhere that he belongs to Kapu community. And then, Kaushal is said to have approached Janasena party folks with the same.

Though Kaushal used the Kapu card big time inside the ranks of Janasena, it is heard that it never worked there. For Pawan Kalyan, there are no criteria like caste and he’s said to have not seen any merit to offer Kaushal something, other than the fact that he won Big Boss recently.

With that, Kaushal moved to Ganta Srinivasa Rao, a kapu bigwig and TDP MLA / Minister from Vizag, to get some political mileage. Though Ganta made Kaushal meet Chandrababu Naidu, there is no way that the TDP supremo will offer him a ticket just basing on caste factor and the fame given by Big Boss.

That too with this election turning out to be pretty crucial and tough, surely Naidu will not try to paddle rough waters with inexperienced wingmen like Kaushal if we could look at the ways AP CM fields candidates.

Huge Pressure To Remove Jr NTR Poster Tearing Scene?

Well, more or less, the film Lakshmi’s NTR has the storyline written by Lakshmi Parvathi in her book where she devoted a lot to her husband, the legendary NTR. And then, there is one particular scene she is talking about all the time.

In many interviews, Lakshmi Paravathi stated that she is the one who helped Hari Krishna’s second wife, Jr NTR’s mother Shalini to N T Rama Rao, and added that the Young Tiger used to call her as ‘nanamma’. But after the death of NTR, Junior is said to have thrown out her pictures from NTR’s house. Vaguely, Lakshmi Parvathi added that Junior NTR has ill-treated her.

And the latest topic that is coming about Lakshmi’s NTR is that the film has a scene of a kid who tears away posters of NTR-LP in the house. Though Ram Gopal Varma hasn’t used any name for the kid, he is said to have given all the hints that it is none other than Jr NTR. So who is asking him to remove it now?

After joining YSR Congress party, we hear that Jr NTR’s father in law Narne Srinivasa Rao approached Varma through some middlemen for the removal of that scene. Though there is no clarity of what happened next, we hear that Narne and team are pressuring Varma to chop that out.

10,000 phone calls tapped during TS assembly polls?

As we know, on December 7th 2018, the Telangana state Assembly elections were held, which was the first Assembly election after the state’s bifurcation. During the time, reportedly the Intelligence wing has tapped for about 10,000 phone numbers and most of them belonged to police officers.

Leading Daily DC reported that, the list of all those cops who interacted with Opposition leaders was submitted to KCR and TRS leadership. The contact numbers were tapped for a long time i.e., from the time the election code to the date of voting.

TRS believed that some policemen who were not in favour of the TRS sweeping the state and winning the polls have extended their support to the Opposition. It was even speculated that a certain group of bureaucrats had already thought and discussed the posts and positions of the opposition.

Hence, TRS wanted to scrutinize the conversations of police officers, especially from IPS circles. However, a senior official confirmed that some cops did try to interact with the Congress leaders but no evidence has been found in order to take severe action. Also, he added that tapping phone conversations is pretty common during elections.

TRS survey predicts YSRCP’s big win in AP Assembly polls!

TRS chief and Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is fond of commissioning surveys on the performance of government, MLAs, MPs and poll prospects of parties.

In Telangana, KCR commissioned surveys for four years in his first term every three months, based on survey results he took decisions on introduction of new schemes and selection of candidates, which fetched huge dividends for TRS in recent TS Assembly polls.

Continuing this trend, KCR commissioned surveys by four independent agencies in Andhra Pradesh which is going for Assembly polls soon to assess the pulse of voters and to assess which party will come to power.

The latest survey commissioned by KCR revealed a clear victory for YSRCP in AP Assembly polls.

The survey revealed that YSRCP will bag 95 to 110 seats out of 175 seats and form the next government in AP.

The TDP will be restricted to just 55 seats.

The survey revealed that Jana Sena, BJP and Congress will not show any impact as they all together would not bag more than 20 seats.

Interestingly, the previous round of TRS survey predicted 105 to 110 seats for YSRCP but it came down slightly in the latest survey.

This is due to few sudden welfare schemes announced by Chandrababu Naidu recently such as direct cash transfer to accounts of lakhs of beneficiaries like farmers, women, unemployed etc, which slightly improved the tally of TDP.

Hitherto, the survey revealed that TDP was facing severe anti-incumbency and is bound to lose the polls at the hands of YSRCP.

KCR laid special focus on AP politics this time and commissioning surveys through four independent agencies and getting reports twice in a month.

KCR announced to give ‘return gift’ to Naidu by working for his defeat in AP Assembly polls and his poll surveys are aimed to achieve this goal.

KCR is learnt to be sharing his survey results with YSRCP and alerting them on their deficiencies in various constituencies and asking them to take rectification measures immediately.

NTR’s family to approach HC to block ‘Laxmi’s NTR’!

TDP founder and late CM of Undivided AP N T Rama Rao’s family members are all set to approach High Courts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to halt the release of controversial direct Ramgopal Varma’s “Laxmi’s NTR”.

The film is slated to be released on March 22.

The two trailers already released by RGV have created a sensation with millions watching on social media within hours of release.

RGV made the film with the main theme of how NTR’s son-in-law and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu ‘backstabbed’ NTR and took over TDP and CM’s post in 1995 in a political coup with the support of NTR’s family members following the entry of Laxmi Parvathy into NTR’s life, who subsequently married against the wishes of NTR’s family members.

NTR’s sons and daughters are furious at film’s trailers depicting them in bad light and also projecting them as responsible for the humiliation and death of NTR in his last days.

The latest trailer also shows NTR character saying a dialogue, “He (Chandrababu) and my children came together and killed me”.

NTR’s family members are expressing severe anger over this dialogue.

The trailer also shows NTR’s daughter Daggubati Purandeshwari abusing her father NTR and Laxmi Parvathy.

NTR’s family members say since all these scenes in the film are aimed to defame their family, they will approach the court not to release the film till they watch the film prior to release and give consent.

With AP going for Assembly polls in less than two months, NTR’s family members fear that this film will adversely affect the prospects of TDP in elections due to depiction of Chandrababu in bad light.

NTR’s family members have decided to hire reputed lawyers in the country to fight their case against RGV’s Laxmi’s NTR.

They want to block the movie also on ‘political grounds’ saying that the film was produced by leaders belonging to Opposition YSRCP in AP, which is fighting poll battle with TDP and to defeat TDP in elections, they have made Laxmi’s NTR to project TDP, Chandrababu and other NTR’s family members in bad light.

Data theft case: Lokesh prime target?

Contrary to the speculations that the “sensational” data theft case is aimed at implicating Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, the Telangana government is said to be eyeing arrest of his son Nara Lokesh in the case.

A top police official of the Telangana who is investigating the case is learnt to have been entrusted with the task of fixing Lokesh, rather than Naidu in the case.

In fact, as a party president, it is the AP chief minister who is responsible for the alleged theft of the government data by a private data analytics company on behalf of the TDP.

However, sources said the entire social media monitoring of the TDP is said to be directly monitored by Lokesh and instructions to all the Seva Mitra groups go directly from the IT minister.

Going by the data seized from the IT Grid Services, it was evident that Lokesh would be fixed as the prime accused in the case, sources said.

There is also another reason for targeting Lokesh rather than Naidu. If the Telangana police directly book Naidu in the data theft case, it will have serious political ramifications, leading to inter-state clashes and that would ultimately be exploited by Naidu by whipping up anti-Telangana sentiment in the elections.

On the contrary, if Lokesh is booked and is not arrested immediately, it will be a sort of irritant for Naidu who will definitely get frustrated and he will tend to make more mistakes in the elections.

That will also show him in poor light in the elections and ultimately, the TDP would be on the losing side!

TDP Starts Propaganda War Against TRS!

The aggressive stand taken by the Telangana police in cracking the “data theft” case involving a data analytics company to favour the Telugu Desam Party has shaken the base of the ruling party in Andhra Pradesh.

Apparently fearing that the data theft scam has damaged its electoral prospects in a big way, the TDP launched a counter-campaign against the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi, alleging that the latter was targeting the TDP and the AP government only to help the YSR Congress party.

TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been attacking his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao and his son and TRS working president K T Rama Rao day in and day out, with an obvious intention of “exposing” the TRS nexus with the YSR Congress party, so as to exploit anti-Telangana sentiment in Andhra Pradesh.

He is saying if Jagan is voted to power, he will surrender Andhra Pradesh to KCR and become subservient to Telangana.

The TDP chief is also trying to propagate that the TRS government is harassing software companies in Hyderabad on the suspicion that they were helping the TDP.

Simultaneously, the social media volunteers of the TDP have launched a smear campaign against the TRS by tagging KTR and Telangana government, in connection with the IT Grids data theft scandal.

According to reports, the TDP’s IT Wing has allegedly issued an elaborate set of instructions as well as suggested tweets as part of its efforts to defame both KTR and the TRS government.

A long set of 25 possible tweets on an Excel datasheet, including many in Telugu, has been made available on Google Drive for TDP’s ‘online warriors’ to access suggested tweets with hashtags such as #KTRFakeTears and #TSGovtStealsData.

On Thursday, TRS Youth Wing lodged a complaint with the Cybercrime Police Station here in the city alleging that TDP’s IT wing was behind the smear campaign targeting TRS and KTR.

“They are paying huge amounts to certain agencies to trend certain hashtags on Twitter. This week, few trends to defame the Telangana government and TRS leadership were artificially created by paying money to certain agencies and individuals,” the TRS youth wing said in the complaint.

Yamini Sadineni files police complaint over trolling

Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) spokesperson Yamini Sadineni on Friday filed a police complaint against those who were trolling her and posting objectionable content against her on the social media.

In a complaint filed at the Pattabhipuram police station in Guntur, she sought action against those trying to defame her on the social media.

She said despite the cyber laws, some people were running a campaign to defame her by by trolling her and posting objectionable content against her on social media platforms.

Claiming that women leaders in all the parties were facing harassment on the social media, she sought stringent action against those violating cyber laws.

She alleged that some people managed to secure her cellphone number and posted the same on Facebook and Twitter. She said some unknown persons were harassing her by making calls even at midnight.

The TDP leader said she welcomed political criticism but would not tolerate if the rivals cross their limits.

A young entrepreneur, Yamini was appointed TDP spokesperson last year. She heads the IT company Shreeyam Group.
