But it looks like Rashmika is likely to get a big break in Bollywood as well, for the kind of hotness and acting prowess she has. Already Rashmika is said to have got a call from Bollywood’s legendary director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She’s said to have got an opportunity to star in a small role in a Bhansali film or to star as a heroine in another film that will be produced by this director.

Not many south heroines have made an impact in Bollywood though they have tested their luck after getting that superstardom in the south. From Trisha to Ileana, Kajal to Kriti Kharbanda, there are many heroines who went to Mumbai but came back home with empty hands. We have to see what happens to Rashmika.

The very famous James Bond is coming with his next film in the Bond Franchise, Bond25. The movie is not yet titled (or not revealed yet) and for now it is just Bond25.

The list of actors in Bond25 is revealed yesterday and fans are going gaga over it. Daniel Craig who played the Bond in last four Bond films is playing it again, though he once said he is not interested in appearing as the 007 again.

The movie is set for release in April 2020 and check the pictures for the entire starcast. The last four films with Daniel Craig as Bond are Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre.

Young actor Karthikeya, who shot to fame with RX100, isn’t looking back after he achieving a success with his first film. After his debut film, he began to sign several films, with young directors particularly. In the last week of 2018, the actor’s next film with debutant filmmaker Arjun Jandhyala was officially launched in Hyderabad. Several film personalities including Boyapati Srinu, Ali and SP Balasubramaniam have attended the event.

Arjun Jandhyala, who worked as an associate of Boyapati Srinu for around last twelve years, has reportedly named the film as ‘Guna 369’. The first look poster is here with Karthikeya flexing his muscles.

‘Guna 369’ will be bankrolled by Anil Kumar and Tirumala Reddy. Chaitan Bharadwaj is going to handle music, while Ram has been recruited to crank the camera.

On other hand, the actor’s another film ‘Hippi’, which has Digangana Suryavanshi and Jazba Singh as leading ladies, is scheduled for June 7 release. TM Krishna is director of that romantic entertainer. Apart from Hippi and Guna 369, Karthikeya will be seen as an antagonist in Vikram Kumar-Nani’s ‘Gang Leader’.

Maharshi Pre-Release Event: 25 Directors As Guests?

On May 1st, we will be seeing the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi in Hyderabad, after the star hero returns from his Paris vacation. And then, his team is making huge arrangements to make sure that this event will be a huge hit.

Reportedly Mahesh’s team are inviting each and every director who has worked with their hero and made him become that Superstar he is. As this movie happens to be his 25th film, the hero wants to celebrate this landmark movie by making sure that all the directors who worked with him will get honoured at the event.

While all the directors including K Raghavendra Rao, B Gopal, Krishna Vamsi, Puri Jagan, Surender Reddy, Sukumar, Srikanth Addala and Koratala Siva along with Vamsi Paidipally will be present at the event, for director Sobhan who has directed Bobby, his son Santosh Sobhan might attend the evening.

Maharshi is a socio-political drama that features Mahesh, Allari Naresh and Pooja Hegde in the leads. The film is set for May 9th release.

The humongous success of Naga Chaitanya’s Majili is making the actor enjoy quite a triumph at the box office. After cherishing the strong positive word of mouth from critics, the actor is all set to focus on upcoming flick under the direction of Ajay Bhupathi of RX100 Fame.

Naga Chaitanya has been roped in to play the police officer role.This prestigious project is rumored to have been titled as ‘Maha Samudram’. The female lead for Maha Samudram will have Samantha.

On the one hand, Ajay Bhupathi will now be making the action and magnificent mafia themed film which is completely opposite to what he made earlier, RX100. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya, who earned stardom with pleasant roles, is once again choosing an action role. However, the actor failed to generate the electrifying screen presence with tough-talking guy and action roles earlier, except Tadakha.

His action movies earlier can be vaguely blamed on subject and plot line that viewers failed to connect. However, with Majili, Naga Chaitanya seems to have emerged as a better actor and let us see if Mahasamudram can fulfill his dream of becoming an ‘Al-rounder’.

Three Films Getting Ready For Pawan Kalyan?

Pawan Kalyan is anxiously waiting for the elections results. Meanwhile, he is also planning to continue his career in films.

As per sources, Pawan has agreed to do three films for a person close to Janasena. Pawan wants to do these films for not so popular directors. Director Dolly (Kishore) is one among them.

There is a movie with Trivikram for Harika Hassine Creations too. But that will take a while to materialize.

Pawan’s re-entry will depend upon the performance of Jana Sena in the elections though. If the results are not encouraging enough then Pawan will take a break from politics for few years.

If Janasena manages to get decent number of seats then Pawan may reconsider his decision to start working on movies immediately.

As of now, Pawan is looking for good scripts besides having discussions regarding Janasena’s performance in general elections.

Can Harish Pull Off Coup In TRS?

It is an open secret that senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao has been completely sidelined in the party.

Despite winning the Siddipet seat with a record majority in the December assembly elections and striving hard for the victory of the party in several assembly constituencies, Harish Rao was not given a berth in the cabinet of his uncle and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Even in the recent Lok Sabha elections, Harish Rao was initially asked to stay off from the campaign, but later given responsibility only for Medak, whereas KCR’s son K T Rama Rao, who was made party’s working president, was asked to take care of at least a half a dozen parliamentary constituencies.

What is more insulting to Harish Rao is that he is not being involved in any of the meetings pertaining to Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project, though it was Harish who had taken personal care in expediting the project before the assembly elections.

Now, KCR is trying to erase all signs that indicated Harish Rao’s involvement in the project.

The latest report is that many of the Harish Rao’s associates are being denied tickets for MPTC and ZPTC elections, while many other MLAs, including those defected from the Congress are given a free hand in the selection of candidates for the local body elections. This is like rubbing salt to the wounds of Harish Rao.

There are reports that Harish Rao is waiting for an opportunity to strike back. But he has no guts to revolt as long as KCR is alive and continues to hold the key in the state.

If the TRS president moves to Delhi for federal front and makes KTR as the chief minister, Harish Rao will get a chance to work out his strategies and stage a coup against KTR.

But one doubts whether Harish Rao has the guts and resources to wage a battle against KCR’s family.

Reel Buzz: Dil Raju Leaves Him Alone

There were a lot of rumors about Dil Raju’s over interference in the making of Telugu remake of Tamil hit 96.

Dil Raju was super impressed with the Tamil film that he bought the remake rights of it even before it was released in Tamil. He also roped in the original director Prem Kumar to wield the megaphone for Telugu remake.

Dil Raju considered many options for the lead characters and finally decided to go with Sharwanand and Samantha. However, Dil Raju want to give it a commercial touch so that it can reach majority audience here.

He wanted to have Devi Sri Prasad on board, but the director has been reluctant to go for any other option except for Govind Vasantha, who scored music for the original.

The ace producer also suggested few changes to the script to make it more ‘entertaining’, according to reports. Prem Kumar didn’t agree to do so as it would spoil the soul of 96.

Dil Raju has finally decided to stay away from the making of 96 remake and give full freedom to the director. Dil Raju also stopped inquiring about the progress of the film.

Congress May Dump Naidu For Jagan?

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been doing intense lobbying with all the regional parties to build an anti-BJP coalition government at the Centre headed by Congress party.

Obviously, Naidu is of the view that he could play the role of a king maker again, even if he gets half a dozen MP seats in Andhra Pradesh, irrespective of whether he regains or loses power in the state.

He is pitching for Congress president Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister, though major parties like Trinamul Congress, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Aam Admi Party and others are not taking his proposal kindly.

But reports from New Delhi say the Congress party, in case it has the chances of coming to power with the support of other like-minded regional parties, might woo the YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, rather than Naidu.

Reason: there are chances that the YSRC might get 18-20 Lok Sabha seats, compared to five to six MP seats of the TDP. So, the Congress needs the support of the party that has bigger numbers.

Secondly, the YSRC might not have objection to extend support to the Congress-led coalition since it is better for Jagan, if he comes to power in the state, to maintain good relations with the Centre to secure more benefits to the state, rather than sitting in opposition along with the BJP and its friendly parties.

Moreover, Rahul Gandhi has promised to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh and if he seeks the support of Jagan, the latter could insist on granting the status on priority basis and that would fetch tremendous mileage to YSRC. And Jagan has already declared that he would support any party or coalition that would grant special category status to AP.

Thirdly, there is no reason why Jagan should not come back to the Congress fold, as his purpose of becoming the chief minister had been fulfilled. Since the Congress is no more a force to reckon with in Andhra Pradesh, he has no threats from it political now or in future.

In a recent interview to a national channel, Jagan has clarified in no ambiguous terms that he had no personal enmity towards Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi and that he had already forgiven the Congress party.

So, if one were to look into all possibilities, there is every possibility that the Congress would prefer Jagan to Naidu.

Of course, all these equations are subject to the condition that the Congress-led coalition should emerge as the largest group to come to power, Jagan should become the next chief minister of AP and his party should get majority of the MP seats!

Ram Charan Invited for Maharshi

Last year, NTR graced as the chief guest for Mahesh Babu’s “Bharat Ane Nenu” event. But producers had invited both Ram Charan and NTR to grace the event.

However, Charan politely declined as his “Rangasthalam” was still running at that time.

For “Maharshi” pre-release event, producer Dil Raju once again is sending invitations to Ram Charan and NTR as the main guests but this time NTR is likely to skip the event. Even Dil Raju is asking Ram Charan to must attend as the chief guest.

Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in ‘Kabir Singh’, a remake of Telugu hit film ‘Arjun Reddy’. The makers recently dropped the teaser of the film and it received a tremendous response. Everyone praised Shahid for his performance.

KCR to neutralize Naidu role in Delhi?

With less than a month left for the declaration of results for general elections across the country, all eyes are on what role Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are going to play at the national level in deciding the formation of a new government at the Centre.

Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who has little prospects of coming to power in the state for a second successive term, is going all out to gain a hold at least in the national politics.

Even if the TDP wins half a dozen seats, he will be a crucial player in Delhi, as he has been bringing all the anti-BJP parties together on to a common platform to support a non-BJP coalition government.

Naidu campaigned for two major parties in the south – DMK in Tamil Nadu and Janata Dal (S) in Karnataka and both of them have an electoral understanding with the Congress.

And both the parties have a big chance of winning majority of the MP seats down south. In Maharashtra, NCP also have a tie-up with the Congress.

In West Bengal, though Mamata Banerjee is strongly opposed to the Congress, she may have to fall in line with Naidu, if she does not get good number of MP seats there and Congress improves its position across the country. In such a scenario, Naidu will be a crucial player even with five or six MP seats.

However, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is keenly watching the developments, has also started moving his pawns. His objective is to neutralize Naidu’s role in Delhi politics.

So, he gave the leaks to media that soon, he would start touring all the states to mobilise the support of regional parties for the proposed federal front plan.

He has the backing of YSR Congress party which is expected to win 16-19 MPs, Biju Janata Dal in Odisha, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party combine in UP which is expected win at least 40 MP seats and of course, Mamata Banerjee might also be willing to join the federal front.

But, if KCR wants to put down Naidu’s role, he has to break the alliances of the DMK, JD (S) and NCP with the Congress, and rope the these three parties into the federal front.

“If KCR can mobilise at least 150-160 MPs, he can be the kingmaker and Naidu will have to take the backseat. It remains to be seen who will be have the bigger say in the national politics after May 23,” a political observer said.
