KCR No 1 CM, Naidu at 14th position: Survey
New Delhi: Telangana’s K. Chandrashekhar Rao is the top performer among the Chief Ministers in the country followed by his counterparts in Himachal Pradesh, Odisha and Delhi.
Interestingly his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu managed to get 14th position in the country.
According to the latest findings of the CVOTER-IANS State of the Nation Tracker opinion poll, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, popularly known as KCR, has got the maximum approval ratings from the voters followed by Himachal Pradesh’s low-profile Jai Ram Thakur and Odisha’s Navin Patnaik, seeking a record 5th term this year.
Delhi’s Arvind Kejriwal has made it into the top five of best performing Chief Ministers.
The Chief Ministers of Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand got the least approval ratings.
People are least satisfied with Tamil Nadu’s K. Palaniswami. The opinion poll finding is not good news for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which has tied up with the AIADMK. A whopping 42 per cent respondents said they were not satisfied with the Chief Minister at all.
Another worrying sign is the performance of Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh as he figures in bottom three with a net approval rating of only 22 in a sample of 52,712.
More than 68.3 per cent of the respondents in Telangana said they were very satisfied with the performance of the Chief Minister who swept the Assembly polls last year. His overall net approval rate is an impressive 79.2 per cent.
KCR has already indicated that he may move to the national politics by contesting the Lok Sabha polls after passing on the baton in Telangana to his son K.T Rama Rao, popularly known as KTR.
Only two BJP-ruled states figure in the top 10 where people are most satisfied with the Chief Minister. Other than Himachal Pradesh, Assam is on the 10th spot as Sarbananda Sonowal is placed a notch below West Bengal’s Mamata Banerjee.
Bihar’s Nitish Kumar, a BJP ally, is placed sixth followed by the Chief Minister of the JD-S-Congress government in Karnataka.

A candidate of Andhra Pradesh’s ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP), who was injured in a scuffle last week, came in an ambulance to file his nomination papers on Friday.
Thikka Reddy, TDP candidate from Mantralayam Assembly constituency in Kurnool district, reached the office of the Returning Officer in an ambulance. He was taken inside the building on a stretcher to enable him to submit his nomination papers.
Thikka Reddy sustained a bullet injury in his leg when his security guard opened fire in the air to save him during a scuffle with YSR Congress Party candidate and outgoing MLA Balanagi Reddy on March 16.

Hero Siddharth takes a dig at Modi’s Biopic Trailer
Hero Siddharth made satirical comments on the trailer of Narendra Modi’s biopic, ‘PM Narendra Modi’ which was released yesterday. The trailer had visuals of a small-time chaiwala who went on to chair the highest position in the country. However, the trailer got a mixed response.
Based on the content shown in the trailer, Siddharth tweeted that it did not show how Narendra Modi single handedly got independence to the country wiping out the British Empire. Siddharth did leave Nehru as well in his tweet. ‘Looks like another cheap trick by the sickular, libtard, commie, naxals and of course that Nehru,’ wrote the ‘Boys’ hero further.
Then Siddharth criticized filmmakers for making films based on personalities without proper research and failing to show the factual content. ‘Seeing the honesty of our film makers when making these “Biopics” like #PMNarendraModi, my mind boggles at how much goldwashing is going to happen in the many #Jayalalithaa based films coming our way. It’s forgivable to not know your history, unforgivable if you try to change it,’ tweeted Siddharth in addition.
Siddharth is an outspoken person and his comments are being noticed by one and all.

I Was Told To Wipe Out TDP And Then Settle With Jagan – Pawan

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has dropped a bomb. With elections only a few more days to come, Pawan claimed that some of his “Telangana friends” have approached him and asked him to help in “wiping out” of Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh. Speaking to media on Friday (22nd March), Pawan said, “Some of my friends in Telangana have asked me to first wipe out TDP in AP. They have told me to later settle the deal with Jagan. They have told me ‘You both sort it out later. First eradicate TDP in AP’.”
