VVR & NTR Get A Massive Blow

Due to the holiday season in place, surely many cinema lovers tend to watch even films that get a flop talk. That will naturally give an edge to films to recover more even if they get a bad result. But such a tendency is now gone it looks like.
After NTR received the shock in terms of collection drops (8 Cr share first day, 1 cr share 2nd day in TS+AP), now Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama has stood in the line. The film created a sort of record by registering 25 crores ‘share’ collection on its First Day showcasing the real stamina of mega heir. But the second day gave the real punch.
On its second day of release, Vinaya Vidheya Rama made only 4+ crores share from Telugu states, thereby falling heavily. Now that F2 got a super word of mouth all over, VVR collections on Sunday fall heavily. However, with Monday being the holiday of Sankranthi, we have to see how lucky these flop films will get.
Meanwhile, Charan went to a snowy destination to enjoy his holiday before he joins the sets of #RRR.
Anil Ravipudi Announces Sequel For F2

Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer ‘F2 – Fun & Frustration’ released on Saturday and received a positive feedback from the audience.
The film is running successfully all over while the audiences are thoroughly enjoying Venky’s comedy and Varun’s comic timing. The team of ‘F2’ is super delighted by the film’s result and is in a celebration mood.
While the celebrations are happening, director Anil Ravipudi has announced the sequel to it. However, he did not disclose when would he take the film to the sets. ‘Got a consent from Venkatesh and Varun about the second part of ‘F2.’ I want to make this as a series like ‘Golmaal’ in Bollywood,’ stated Anil.
About his next project, the director said it depends on the story but he will take a break before he begins the work as he is enjoying the success of ‘F2.’
Trade Talk: F2 Opens Strong, VVR Maintains Decent Hold

F2 is the only film that opened to mostly positive reviews and good word of mouth among Sankranthi releases.
It had a fantastic day 1 at the box office and has high chances to dominate the Sankranthi box office.
Vinaya Vidheya Rama has been posting decent numbers in spite of very weak talk. The film received appalling response and being trolled across social media platforms.
However, Ram Charan’s strong hold in the masses has come in handy with the film getting good shares on its first two days. Buyers hope that it holds well during Sankranthi vacation to minimize the losses.
NTR biopic has been performing very poor and is showing no sign of improvement as of now.
Petta opened on a decent note but will face the heat from straight releases during Sankranthi holidays.
Success Pushed Mega Hero Into A Confusion

Mega hero Varun Tej is currently basking in the glory of his latest movie ‘F2’ success at the box office. Though recently he failed to score with ‘Antariksham’ movie, this success on Sankranthi eve is giving him more happy vibes. But then, it is confusing him too.
Actually, our mega hero is unable to choose between commercial cinema or offbeat cinema post the success of F2. While films like Fidaa, Tholiprema and now F2 gave him a hit track record, his offbeat movies like Antariksham and Kanche are not commercially successful films. That is pushing him into a confusion of sorts as to what type of stories he should pick in his next.
That is said to be the reason for Varun not giving a nod to his next project. Though he has some options like Jigharthanda remake with Harish Shankar and another film with Dil Raju on the cards, he gave a go for none of them.
We have to see in which way Varun Tej will swing now!
Harish Being Completely Sidelined?

If the reports coming from Telangana Rashtra Samithi sources are to be believed, senior party leader and Siddipet MLA T Harish Rao is going to be completely sidelined in the party.
It has been a month since the TRS came back to power for a second successive term and party president K Chandrasekhar Rao took over as the chief minister.
While he made his son K T Rama Rao as the party working president, his daughter K Kavitha has been busy with her parliament sessions.
However, there has been no news about KCR’s nephew Harish Rao. He was only seen in the party activities last time when he came to the Telangana Bhavan to congratulate KTR on the latter’s elevation as party working president.
He reportedly went to Singapore on a holiday and then recently, he was seen at a New Year diary releasing function.
Media reports said KCR has not been giving appointment to Harish Rao for the last few weeks.
Even at the intense review of the progress of irrigation projects and also during his visit to Kaleshwaram project, KCR did not involve Harish Rao, who held the portfolio for four and a half years.
On the other hand, those who had nothing to do with the projects attended the irrigation department meetings and accompanied the chief minister to the projects.
It has been rumoured that KCR is not going to induct Harish Rao into the state cabinet. This is not a surprising news because the party sources are speculating that KCR will ask Harish to contest the Lok Sabha elections, so as remove all hurdles for KTR to become the chief minister.
But the latest news is that Harish Rao might not be given even the Lok Sabha ticket, as he might pose a threat to Kavitha. So, Harish will have to remain as an ordinary MLA under KTR’s leadership in the coming days.
What a snub!
