Lakshmi’s NTR Trailer 2: No Fooling Around, Direct Attack!
Ram Gopal Varma likes to make controversial movies on political and social conspiracies.
However, he draws criticism for not sticking to the facts most of the time. But Lakhsmi’s NTR seems to be a movie where RGV didn’t mind to showcase the powerful people in bad light.
The second trailer of Lakshmi’s NTR drops a bigger bomb on Telugu Desam Party President and AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu as RGV didn’t fool around in telling his version of NTR’s story. This is NTR’s story in Lakshmi Parvathi’s point of view as the title suggests.
The trailer starts off with an NTR quote “Vaadu (CBN) Naa Pillalu Kalisi Nannu Champesaru.” That quote sums up the story and premise of Lakshmi’s NTR.
There are many scenes that show CBN plotting a conspiracy against NTR and snatching away the CM post from him. There are also scenes where NTR’s daughters abusing Lakshmi Parvathi in the trailer.
The first trailer itself hasn’t downplayed anything and the latest trailer is far more hard-hitting and could do potential damage to CBN’s image. This is RGV’s direct attack against CBN and NTR’s children.
As the film gets ready for release on March 22, the second trailer boosts the hype surrounding it.

Mega Hero Varun Tej is happy that his first release in 2019, F2 – Fun & Frustration, ended up as a big time blockbuster.
Currently, this ‘Fidaa’ actor is in the USA, preparing for his forthcoming film, which has a boxing backdrop.
Sources close to the actor said, “Varun will start shooting for Harish Shankar’s ‘Valmiki’ from next month and he will join the sets of the boxing backdrop movie from Mid-August.
Olympic Gold Medalist Tony Jeffries is training Varun for the sports drama and ‘Rocky’ actor Carl Weathers is on board as a consultant”.
After the Success of ‘F2’, Varun will have having another release ‘Valmiki’ this year and the untitled Sports Drama will be out in the first half of 2020.
Siddhu Mudda & Allu Venkatesh will jointly produce the sports drama under Renaissance Pictures, while Allu Aravind & Geetha Arts will present the film.
Shivaji Raja launches attack on Naresh
While the political battle is raising temperatures in both Telugu states, the MAA (Movie Artists Association) elections are also grabbing a lot of attention from everyone. Both the panels led by Naresh and Shivaji are locking horns with war of words. While the members in Naresh panel have accused MAA president Shivaji of misusing funds collected by organising various events, Shivaji’s team has freshly launched a serious attack on opponents.
Claiming that his panel members have not involved in any wrongdoings, Shivaji said he is reluctantly contesting this election. ‘I decided not to fight this election but everyone coerced me to be in the fray for this time. In the recent past, some people are making false allegations on me. If I fail to respond now, there is chance for everyone to assume them to be true,’ said Shivaji by adding, “Anyone who speak on media should get facts right before launching an accusation on us. I want people to vote for me based on the development activities I did.”
Reacting to the allegations made by Naresh, the senior actor Shivaji said: “When we have invited Chiranjeevi garu for a fundraising event, Naresh failed to turn up. But, I have managed to finish it with the encouragement of Srikanth.” The MAA President also explained how he was insulted by the general secretary Naresh on his birthday.
“We’ve made it a protocol in MAA to wish every member on his birthday. On my birthday, Naresh has phoned and said he will meet me. So, I went to Film Chamber and was anticipating for him. But, he made me wait for next few hours and did not turn up finally. In the meanwhile, Naresh has called another person and made some insulting comments,” said Shivaji. So, what did Naresh tell to that person?
According to Shivaji, Naresh commented: “Look how I made Shivaji Raja wait for on his birthday. That’s my level!” The teary eyed Shivaji Raja ended up saying: ‘I was not ready bear any further insults. So, my family members have advised me to stay away this time. With a view to continue development activities taken up in our tenure, I have decided to fight polls again.”
Arjun Reddy Pair Is Back?
The emotional chemistry between Rowdy boy Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey was one of many things which helped Arjun Reddy gain a cult status. The film, which is now being remade into Tamil and Hindi, has made Vijay a superstar and Shalini Pandey- the darling of medium budget films.
Not just the emotional scenes between them, romantic episodes between both the actors has elevated the film to next level. Now, the news has it that the blockbuster pair is going to collaborate again. The film which is going to be directed by a newcomer will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. According to our reports, Shalini Pandey and a Malayali beauty Malvika Mohanan have been finalized opposite Devarakonda.
Some reports suggest that the actor will be seen as a bike racer in the film which is yet to be announced. More details about this project will be revealed soon. Currently, Vijay is working on ‘Dear Comrade’ which has Rashmika Mandanna alongside him.
Bunny Accepting The Scripts Rejected By Other Stars?
Stylish star Allu Arjun’s 20th film will be directed by Sukumar and very recently an official announcement is also made. However, stylish star fans are not convinced with Sukumar coming on board and worried about the film as per a sentiment.
And it’s because of Allu Arjun’s last outing ‘Naa Peru Surya’ which bombed big time at the box office. The film marked writer Vakkantham Vamsi’s directorial debut. Initially he pitched the script of ‘Naa Peru Surya’ to Young Tiger NTR. As the junior rejected the script, Vamsi approached Bunny and then went on to make the film. The rest is history.
Now with Sukumar’s film, initially the ‘Rangasthalam’ director planned to make the film with Mahesh Babu. With creative differences the project was called off and Sukumar reached out to his friend Bunny. Probably in the quickest time, Allu Arjun said ‘YES’ to Sukumar. Once again fans are in opinion that Allu Arjun is accepting films which were apparently rejected by other star heroes and they result might be the same of ‘Naa Peru Surya.’
However, it is yet to be known whether Sukumar has narrated Mahesh’s script to Allu Arjun or with a new one. We may not get answers for it but it all depends on #AA20’s result.
Happy to be surrounded by 4 strong women, says Vadra
Ahead of his appearance on Friday before the ED for questioning in a money laundering case, Robert Vadra, Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s brother-in-law, extended International Women’s Day greetings, saying that he was surrounded by “four strong women”.
“Wishing all wonderful women, a Happy Women’s Day! I am happy to be surrounded by four strong women, ‘my mother (Maureen Vadra), my mother-in-law (Sonia Gandhi), my wife (Priyanka Gandhi) and my daughter (Miraya Vadra)’,” the businessman said in a Facebook post earlier in the day.
“The keywords to describe them are ‘hardworking, courageous, compassionate and determined.
“I will celebrate the day with them, once I am back from the ED interrogation… I have already deposed for 10 days for almost 64 hours, cooperating with the interrogations. I believe in truth and justice,” he added.
Vadra has been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate officials in connection with the case related to his ownership of overseas assets in London.
The ED officials said that Vadra arrived at the agency’s office at 10.40 a.m.
Vadra, husband of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, is on interim bail till March 19.
Vadra had also deposed before the ED twice in Jaipur in connection with another money-laundering case related to an alleged land scam in Bikaner. His mother Maureen, too, was questioned by the agency once during the same deposition.
Jagan bans yet another yellow media!
Whether one agrees or not, it is an undeniable fact that the Telugu media in Andhra Pradesh is vertically divided based on their political affiliations.
While it is obvious that Sakshi media house is affiliated to the YSR Congress party because it is promoted by party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, the other media houses like Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy media groups, besides other electronic media like TV5 and NTV are openly supporting the Telugu Desam Party headed by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, though they are not promoted by the party leaders.
There is also a channel – 99TV, which promotes Jana Sena Party chief and actor Pawan Kalyan and it is confined to telecasting his party activities.
So, TDP patronises the channels which give a lot of coverage to the party programmes and slings mud at the YSR Congress party and the Bharatiya Janata Party. That is why, they are being branded as yellow media.
While some of these yellow media houses still try to project themselves as impartial by giving at least some coverage to the rival parties, there are a couple of channels like ABN Andhra Jyothy and TV5, which do not hide their loyalty to the TDP and Naidu.
During the so-called debates, these channels openly try to run down the YSRC and BJP.
Vexed with their attitude, the YSRC on Friday issued a statement saying it is banning TV5 channel.
“This channel is blatantly promoting the TDP and its activities. Therefore, we have decided not to send any of our party leaders to attend the debates and discussions conducted by this channel. The channel has been banned to cover any of our party programmes and press meets. We want the channel management not to invite our party leaders to the debates,” the statement said.
The party has taken the decision to this effect only to expose the yellow media which is getting away with its pro-TDP programmes in the name of freedom of press.
“We have already banned ABN-Andhra Jyothy for the same reason,” the statement said.
Interestingly, the numbers of TV5 correspondents have been removed instantly from the YSRC’s WhatsApp media groups.
The TDP, too, has been adopting the same stand. Though Naidu has not banned Sakshi reporters, he will not allow them to raise any questions doing the press conferences and shouts them down!
KGF Director and Mahesh Combo? A Stunt!
There is overdose of updates about Mahesh Babu in the last few days. Still, his team is not getting tired of feeding more news about the superstar.
After Sukumar leaving Mahesh Babu’s movie for Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu’s team is bringing several directors to the superstar for further collaborations.
It is said that Prasanth Neel of Kannada blockbuster “KGF” recently flew down from Bangalore to Hyderabad to meet Namrata, Mahesh Babu’s wife who deals all his business affairs and sets new projects and brands. This is really strange. How would Prasanth Neel’s style of making suits Mahesh Babu’s persona?
Prasanth Neel in his debut movie proved that he makes “oora mass” movies. In “KGF”, every scene looks like a hero-introduction sequence.
“KGF” received mixed reviews; it won thumbs up for its technical qualities and got thumbs down for clichéd storyline. While some sequences gave high, it became repetitive after a point.
As some critic pointed out, Prasanth Neel’s direction in “KGF” is more like polished version of Boyapati Srinu’s narration – full of oora mass but high technical standards.
Mahesh Babu is more of a classy star. People will not accept him if he goes overboard in mass action entertainers.
Classic example is Sreenu Vaitla’s “Aagadu”. This collaboration of Prasanth Neel and Mahesh Babu is nothing but just a publicity stunt to drive away the focus from recent Sukumar’s fiasco.
No wonder then that Babu’s PRO’s are spreading such gossips!
Mahesh Babu has given his nod to Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Vanga. There is also possible collaboration with Rajamouli. What will happen to those projects?
Sri Reddy in Megastar’s Camp Now!
Sri Reddy hates Pawan Kalyan. If you check her Facebook timeline, you will not miss of noticing at least one post daily from her against Jana Sena or Pawan Kalyan. She hates him to the core for reasons best known to her.
She also threw ‘M’ bomb against Pawan Kalyan last year when casting couch controversy was full on rage and the star did huge ruckus against the TV channels for telecasting such words aimed at him.
The controversy had died down but she is still targeting him regularly on the social media.
Given this scenario, it is amusing to see Sri Reddy supporting Shivaji Raja and his panel in the elections of Maa Association that are scheduled for this Sunday.
It is open secret that Shivaji Raja and Srikanth are close to Megastar Chiranjeevi and he is behind this panel.
Actor Naresh and his panel members are dead against Chiru group and they are competing against Shivaji Raja panel.
But Sri Reddy is posting comments against Naresh and Jeevitha and lending full support to Shivaji Raja.
She also is requesting MAA members not to vote for “lady suppliers”.
She slammed Naresh saying that he went bald but he didn’t get maturity enough.
“Vandala cr of properties, pedha pedha costly carlu, banglowlu vunna meku, ippatidaka maa association lo post velagapettaru, ye roju aina 10 rupees ichara old aristlu road midhakochinapudu gani, maa associationki gani naresh garu?? padavi kavali, seva sunna.. She didn’t spare Jeevitha either.
She posted, “Aadavari “Jivitha”latho aadukune surpanaka laki, rakshasuluku vote ni veyakandi.. nara(naresham) rupa rakshasulu chuttu vunnaru jagratha @movie artist association..”
Hot Summer With Interesting Line-Up
This summer is going to be much hotter than last year if weather reports are anything to go by. And then, as the holiday season is about to kick in, Tollywood is getting ready to treat audiences with its interesting line-up.
The last week of March 2019 kicks off the summer treat, with the likes of Niharika’s Suryakantham, Nikhil’s Arjun Suravaram and Ram Gopal Varma’s Lakshmi’s NTR arriving then. While NTR is locked for 22nd, the other two films might arrive on March 29th.
The real summer starts with Majili of Chay-Sam on April 5th, Saidharam’s Chitralahari on April 12th, Lawrence’s Kanchana 3 on April 18th and Nani’s Jersey on the 19th. All these are going to provide wholesome entertainment. And there are some dubbing films like Surya’s NGK (April 12th) and Avengers End Gam (April 26) as well.
But the biggest one is coming up in May with Mahesh starrer Maharshi set for May 9th release. That is the only big film in the Summer race actually.There are some other films that might join this race, but by now, almost these happening movies have locked their date.
‘I Am The Cornerstone Of IT’
The other day, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu speaking at a rally in Tirupati made some comments that left the gathering shell-shocked.
“The cellphones you are using today is because of me. TRS is crying repeatedly saying ‘data, data, data’. What ‘data’? Stop these dirty politics. Is it not a fact that my name has been synonymous with IT in this country since 1984?” thundered Chandrababu.
Now, CBN became CM for the first time in 1995. So, was it a mere slip of the tongue when he says he was famous since 1984 for IT?
Chandrababu earlier would not have made such silly statements. But clearly, there is something wrong with the 2.0 version.
Maybe, it is old age catching up with him, maybe it is the pressure of Lokesh’s future weighing him down or maybe he is indeed suffering from Alzheimer’s.
Definitely, not a good sign for the TDP.
NTR to Romance a Foreign Actress!
After creating magic in “Baahubali” and “Baahubali 2”, S S Rajamouli is experimenting with casting for his latest period extravaganza.
Industry buzz is that a foreign actress will be playing opposite NTR Jr in this movie.The film features Ram Charan as NTR Jr in two lead roles which are designed on the lines of Lord Rama and Ravana respectively. However, this films is set in British era.
A foreign actress has already been taken for NTR is what we hear.If everything falls in place, Ram Charan may romance Bollywood leading lady Alia Bhatt but she is still dodging on.
Remuneration has become an issue for her. If Rajamouli agrees to pay what she is demanding, she might sign the film.RRR went on floors in November 2018 and has completed its two schedules. The film is heading for Kolkota later this month for 40-days long schedule.
