Rajamouli Wants Ali Bhatt’s Priority Dates

Top director S S Rajamouli is again approaching Alia Bhatt for the female lead for his latest mega period action drama tentatively titled “RRR” that features NTR Jr and Ram Charan as the lead stars. The big-budgeted extravaganza that is said to be made with whopping Rs 300 Cr requires three female lead actors to play opposite these two male stars but Rajamouli is precisely looking for two heroines at this moment.
The other heroine will be finalised second half of 2019 as her character is not that important to the main story. Rajamouli wants Alia Bhatt for the main female lead as he is bowled over by her performances in “Raazi”, “Gully Boy” and “Udta Punjab”. She was earlier approached but busy actress said her inability to adjust dates to this epic movie.
Again, Rajamouli has ordered his production and casting team to approach whether she can adjust dates if she is provided more remuneration. Rajamouli is willing to pay big pay check to her if she provides priority dates.
His team will now talk to her. She is currently shooting with her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor for “Brahmastra” being produced by Karan Johar.
After Rangasthalam’s Success, Is This Needed?

The point that is concerning “Rangasthalam” fans is, does Sukumar need all these politics after delivering such a movie. In a way, this creative director is struggling even after a year of blockbuster film like Rangasthalam. But why?
Generally, directors who score big blockbusters move to their next swiftly without any delay. And whatever story they narrate generally gets approved. But here in Sukumar’s case, first it has come out that he is working with Prabhas. Later it came out that he moved to Mahesh Babu and finally due to creative differences he has moved to Allu Arjun. How Sukku is unable to convince those other heroes is the biggest question here.
Rather waiting for big superstars, probably Sukumar should have worked with available actor to make a quick film, like Rajamouli did a Maryada Ramanna after Magadheera.
And now that Allu Arjun is busy with Trivikram’s film, which he wants to wrap it first, Sukumar wait time is much longer than anticipated. Definitely, he will be releasing his new film after celebrating the second anniversary of Rangasthalam success. That’s what hurts his fans now.
TFI Stars Putting Tight Leash On Directors!
TFI stars once used to trust big directors like K. Raghavendra Rao and Dasari Narayana Rao, Kodandarami Reddy, Kodi Ramakrishna until their films got challenged by new wave filmmakers like Ram Gopal Verma, Suresh Krissna and few others.
After RGV, stars took the new era of directors into their wings and started nurturing them to make films as they would love to see on-screen. Muthyala Subbaiah even though made big hits, listened to Megastar during Annayya film.
Suresh Krissna gave ample space for Megastar to give his inputs. Nagarjuna gave Krishna Vamsi creative freedom but did put some leash on the kind of story, he wants to deal with.
Venkatesh always had Suresh Babu, his brother to look at the scripts and point out the loopholes. Slowly, when the Industry shifted to another young set of directors, Pawan Kalyan became the prime example of leaving a mark his films no matter who the director was.
Mahesh got the name of being director’s actor and there were mixed signals from stars to directors on how the work process, will be. Puri Jagannath, VV Vinayak, Trivikram Srinivas could enjoy unlimited freedom until recently.
The things have changed completely now. As each hero is looking at 100 crores market potential and not happy with quantity but looking at quality, new directors are having to wait for months to get approval and change the scripts according to wishes of the stars.
Geetha Arts, Annapurna Studios, Suresh Productions started giving young directors time and in some cases, monthly salary for them to come up with the scripts that they can give to the stars of their respective compounds.
Dil Raju started the script scrutiny with a set of creative people that he trusts and we can find young directors in their offices all the time discussing about prospects of a movie.
So, we are seeing “creative differences” creeping up between actors like Mahesh, Allu Arjun with Sukumar, Vikram Kumar. Even Trivikram Srinivas is not an exemption to this new script scrutiny trend.
Only SS Rajamouli can get away from all this, due to his blockbusters and fame. The interesting thing is Sukumar could get immediate approval after differences with Mahesh and Vikram Kumar could get approval of Nani immediately after he left Allu Arjun compound with a script.
Even though the cinema veterans feel the leash on directors shouldn’t be the case, when actors are getting crores and are also investing in films, they will always be more insecure as they have to adhere to fan pressure and get over the peer pressure to keep themselves in competition.
Producers are also encouraging this as it will decrease the loss. Before the film begins they may lose in lacks or one to two crores, but if they end up with a disaster, they will lose tens of crores and reputation as most have to invest in distribution as well in current market situation disasters like NTR Kathanayakudu, Mahanayakudu, Agnyathavasi, Spyder, Brahmostavam, Vinaya Vidheya Rama, Officer and few others.
Poonam Bajwa reminds us again!
“Out of Sight! Out of Mind!” This is believed by many actors and it is true too. When they don’t appear regularly on our media pages (not meaning us, generally), or on TV serials, or in films or at award functions, actors lose their market.
This is a pertinent problem to many and some think that over exposure is a risk too. Some take such risk willingly and some just accept the fact that the times have changed and try to mix up.Some have the courage to stay upright with what they believe. Poonam Bajwa entered the TFI, way back in 2006, with Boss movie.
She couldn’t really use the platform and exposure she got for being in a Nag film, as the movie failed too. She is still struggling in Telugu and Tamil Industries to find some opportunities.Seems she like found the gift of social media like many others as the new wave of photos again hit us. Well, she is still highly pretty, isn’t she?
