While a majority of the exit polls have predicted a victory for the TRS, Lagadapati Rajagopal is the only one who has predicted a victory for the Mahakutami.

We conducted our own analysis district-wise in Telangana and our findings appear to corroborate Lagadapati.

There is every possibility of the Mahakutami coming to power with a winning tally of around 55-60 seats while TRS may end up with around 40 seats, give or take a few.

Many groups which backed KCR in 2014 have switched to the Mahakutami in this election.

While the poorer sections have backed KCR as they have come to identify Telangana with TRS and KCR’s schemes have benefitted them, many other sections of society have veered away due to unfulfilled promises.

The Congress has been especially successful in highlighting these failures of KCR. Naturally, the voting for TRS is low where there are Seemandhra people in large numbers and border areas.

In the last 10 days, the publicity blitzkrieg unleashed by the Mahakutami has successfully managed to create a massive anti-incumbency factor that was hitherto missing against the TRS.

The success of the publicity campaign can be gauged from the fact that even in TRS strongholds like Karimnagar and Warangal where the T-sentiment is high; Mahakutami garnered a fair percentage of votes.

Come December 11, it would not come as a surprise to see celebrations at Gandhi Bhavan.

Telangana state elections are over and the counting is scheduled on December 11th. However, for Chandrababu Naidu, the job is only half done. Just a day ahead of the counting and the Parliament winter session, Babu is flying to New Delhi to meet several leaders of the anti-BJP forces.

Tomorrow, Chandrababu will be meeting with Telangana TDP MPs to discuss the issues to be raised during the Parliament sessions. And in the afternoon, Babu will meet all the anti-BJP leaders to discuss the future plan of action and formation of a new front to counter BJP.

During his Delhi tour, Babu will be interacting with staunch Modi opponents like Rahul Gandhi, Mamata Banerjee, Farooq Abdullah, Sitaram Yechuri and Suravaram and others. However, whether Mayawati will make it to the meeting is yet to be known.

The nail-biting finish to the Telangana state polls is just a day away. The counting will be held on December 11th. While all the exit polls conducted by several national media houses predicted TRS’ victory, Andhra Octopus Lagadapati Rajagopal had predicted that the Congress, TDP-led People’s Front will emerge victorious.

Meanwhile, there has been a lot of curiosity and anticipation about the leader who will be made the Chief Minister if the People’s Front wins the elections. And Congress party’s firebrand leader Revanth Reddy has finally broken the ice in his latest media interaction.

When a journalist asked Revanth who will be the CM is People’s Front comes to power, Revanth revealed the hierarchy of the People’s Front. Revanth said that since Congress party is leading the front, it’s number one and will get the first preference. Furthermore, TDP, Kodandaram and CPI will come second, third and fourth respectively. If Revanth’s words are anything to go by, it’s senior Congress leader Uttam Kumar Reddy who will be the CM if the People’s Front wins.

When Sree Reddy abused Pawan and his mother in a derogatory manner earlier this year, even before Pawan, it was Naga Babu and Allu Aravind who has reacted strongly. But it was considered that the Mega family had vented out its angst as it was the Mega brothers’ mother who was also humiliated.

But none of the Mega family members have so far spoken about Pawan’s and Janasena’s politics. Even Pawan never openly invited his family members to be part of his political journey. Till date, Pawan has been solely depending on his intellect and experts advice in politics.

But suddenly, Nagababu has taken the responsibility and spoke on behalf of Pawan and made a controversial comment on Balakrishna when he said that “he doesn’t know who is Balakrishna”. Needless to say, Nandamuri fans are furious on Nagababu. Also, very soon, the media will directly ask Balayya about Nagababu’s comment, and the actor cum TDP MLA’s reaction is keenly awaited.

But what’s more interesting about Nagababu’s latest interview was that he has said that although he is not keen on active politics, he will do all the groundwork for Pawan, if a situation arises. This latest statement by Nagababu has led to a strong speculation that the Mega family is ready to campaign for Pawan if the Janasena leader invites them.

However, Pawan is said to be apprehensive about the fact that if all the Mega family members join Janasena, it will end up giving everyone a strong dejavu of Praja Rajyam’s disastrous history. This very concern is said to be keeping Pawan on the backfoot to invite the Mega family into Janasena.
