Balakrishna Deeply Disappointed and Depressed!
Nandamuri Balakrishna chose the biopic of NTR to launch his home production house NBK Films.
The idea of making the biopic of NTR was not Balakrishna’s. It was Vishnu Induri who came up with the idea and Sai Korrapati joined him.
Balakrishna also decided to co-produce the film and later took over as the ‘main producer’ and included his wife Nandamuri Vasundhara’s name as one of the producers.
Balakrishna expected NTR to create history at the box office and also be remembered as a classic forever. But he got the first shock when Kathanayakudu failed to click.
With over Rs. 50 crore loss, Kathanayakudu result has demoralized Balakrishna and rest of the team of NTR. They had given up on the second part even before the movie was released.

However, no one expected Mahanayakudu to fail in such an embarrassing fashion. It is all set to become the biggest flop in Balakrishna’s career.
It is competing with the likes of Officer and Parama Veera Chakra, the all-time disasters among films featuring a big star in the lead role.
Balakrishna who is not new to failures is reportedly depressed and deeply disappointed with the result of Mahanayakudu.
Balakrishna also refused to attend the event of 118, but attended the event as Kalyan Ram insisted upon his presence.
At the event, it was pretty evident from Balakrishna’s body language and facial expressions that he is humiliated by the result of Mahanayakudu.
Recovered Brahmanandam Set for Comeback!
Brahmanandam is signing new films. He is ready for work. The veteran comedian underwent bypass surgery very recently. A renowned heart surgeon in Mumbai treated him well.
After spending two weeks in the hospital in Mumbai, Brahmi came back to his residence and he is now fully recovered.
As soon as news spread that he is completely recuperated, filmmakers have started making a beeline to his residence to sign him in movies.
Although Brahmanandam lost the craze he used to enjoy, several filmmakers are now offering him roles out of courtesy and also as a mark of gesture to show their friendship.
Brahmanandam has acted in more than 1000 films and has ruled the industry as top comedian for decades. However, his brand of comedy has lost prominence in today’s movies.
Mahesh Babu Miffed with Reports
Mahesh Babu is not happy with the recent developments on the sets of ‘Maharshi’. He was miffed with the news reports that the film is all set to be postponed to May from April 25.
He lambasted producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally for leaking such information.
Mahesh Babu has not given his nod to them to change the date.
“Why are planting such news that the film is getting postponed without my permission,” he asked them.
Mahesh Babu is already under pressure from his fans. Fans were disappointed when the film was moved from the original date April 5. Now if they film gets postponed again, they will not hesitate to create hashtag war against him on the social media.
Mahesh Babu is particular that the film should get released in April only. The month is lucky time for him as many of his big hits were released in the month of April.
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju, “Maharshi” has Allari Naresh in a key role and Pooja Hegde plays the female lead.
Vamshi Paidipally will now to work overtime to wrap the movie’s shoot to meet the deadline. The film’s dubbing work is also going on simultaneously with the shoot.
Big relief to TRS on its symbol
In a much needed relief to the TRS party ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the chief Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced that it will not allot ‘TRUCK’ and ‘IRON’ to any party.
In the recent Telangana assembly elections, All India Forward Bloc party was allotted ‘TRUCK’ symbol and in many constituencies, this party stood second surpassing MahaKutami (Congress, TDP and CPI). TRS Minister Koppula Eshwar won with a slight majority of 300 votes while many of ruling party MLAs were biting their nails till the last round of counting. After analysing the election results, TRS party found out the ‘TRUCK’ played the spoilt sport.
TRS MP Vinod Kumar along with his party delegation gave a representation to the ECI that their ‘CAR’ symbol is resembling the ‘TRUCK’ in EVMs. So they urged ECI to look into this issue in view of Parliament polls. They also submitted a re-designed version of ‘CAR’ symbol. After considering their request, Election Commission it removed ‘TRUCK’ and ‘IRON’ symbols from the Pre-Symbols list and approved TRS’ new symbol.
Why Kalyan Ram Deserves A Hit With 118?
Kalyan Ram! And the name doesn’t ring any big films or milestones in the Telugu film industry, but surely he is known for his big heart. For his cool-headedness to the ability to withstand for years patiently such that he could score a hit, for his caring towards cinema, he is always well known. And most importantly, for this.
There are those egoistic heroes who refuse to share dias with other stars, and there are those who don’t even mingle with their family members. But Kalyan Ram always turns that anchor point who will bring even the likes of NTR and Balayya who are at loggerheads for years. But why should he get a ‘success’ for all these non-filmy reasons?
Cut to films, Kalyan Ram always tried some new stuff though he has chosen bad content many times. But if guys who are highly passionate like him get success, then they are likely to make more films. Only if they make more films, there will be more work for the film industry folks and all other dependent industries. So, Kalyan Ram needs a hit.
At the same time, this particular film 118 is sounding something different with Kalyan Ram reinventing his style, looks and mannerisms to a new again. And if he scores big now, his confident will boost the passion of many filmmakers. Dot.
Then Boyapati Needed Badly, Now Both Need One
Things and situations change just like that every Friday in tinsel towns. And that line used to sound like age-old rhetoric that holds no truth. But with the recent happenings, one has to believe the power of box office that changes every week.
None expected that Boyapati Sreenu would deliver a super flop with a hero like Ram Charan through Vinaya Vidheya Rama, and it happened. And then, many felt Nandamuri Balakrishna will be his savior as the senior hero agreed to do a film with Boyapati irrespective of the VVR result.
But things changed drastically as NTR-biopic went on to become super flops, thereby creating a huge dent in Balayya’s image and also box office potential. And now, it is not just Boyapati who needs a hit badly, but both the hero and director need one.
Though flops are a common thing for any big director or hero, these flops coming at the peak of their career and at the wrong time are going to hit them hard. Hope they bounce back stronger!
There Are No Politics, Only Farmer Issues -Renu Desai
In the wake of speculations rife that Renu Desai is brought onto the political turf by YS Jagan’s Sakshi TV, the former actress and former wife of Janasena president Pawan Kalyan has decided to give clarity. For the unknown, Renu is coming up with a show related to farmers and their issues for that channel very soon.
“Wholeheartedly I’m doing this show for the sake of farmers only, but there is no political intention or motivation behind this. I just met 100s of farmers and getting stunned and upset to know about their plight and issues” says Renu upright, as she clarifies on the total gossip.
“If I can help or change at least one farmer’s life, I will be the very happiest person” she adds, as she pleaded not to make political web around her true and honest intentions to serve the farmers. However, many netizens are feeling this is a hard thing to believe, though Renu has nothing to do with the show politically.
By making her agree to do this show and start it in the same Kurnool district where Pawan Kalyan is touring, there seems to a political arrangement made, if not by Renu, by the ones who are helping her get the show done. And everyone knows who they are.

Cong seniors not keen on Telangana LS polls?
After facing a humiliating defeat in the assembly elections held on December 7, the Congress party in Telangana has virtually no takers for its party tickets from senior leaders for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Though the party has received as many as 380 applications for 17 Lok Sabha seats, majority of them are non-serious candidates who have neither money power nor any identity among the people.
But seniors who had won several elections in the past, too, are not evincing interest in contesting the Lok Sabha elections. A couple of them want to shift to safer seats, where the party has some chances of winning.
The reason is obvious: they are apprehensive that they would definitely lose the elections, which would be another big setback for them.
Secondly, they do not have enough resources to fight the elections on par with the Telangana Rashtra Samithi which fancies great chances.
So, even those who evinced interest in contesting the Lok Sabha polls, are now dropping out.
For example, veteran Congress leader and former Union minister S Jaipal Reddy, who had earlier announced that he would contest the Lok Sabha elections from Mahbubnagar parliamentary constituency, has now dropped out. Apparently, he has realised that it would be a futile exercise.
Another senior leader T Jeevan Reddy, who recently lost from Jagitial constituency, had earlier announced that he would contest from Karimnagar. Now, he too, is not interested. He wants to contest the MLC elections under graduates’ constituency.
Former MP Madhu Yashki Goud, who won from Nizamabad twice and lost to TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha in 2014, is also refusing to contest from the same constituency this time as he knows he will be defeated certainly.
He has applied for the party ticket from Bhongir constituency on the ground that it has large number of Gowda votes. But other Congress leaders are opposing his request.
Even PCC working president A Revanth Reddy, who lost from Kodangal assembly constituency in the last assembly elections, also wants to shift to Bhongir, though he initially evinced interest in Mahbubnagar seat.
Society fails to produce good husbands: Jaya Prada
Veteran actress Jaya Prada, who plays a mother in the show “Perfect Pati”, says that Indian society has spent centuries grooming girls to be good wives, but often fails to produce good husbands.
In the show, Rajyashree Rathod (Jaya) will kill her son Pushkar (actor Ayush Anand) in a bid to do the right thing and serve justice to her daughter-in-law Vidhita (actress Sana Amin Sheikh), read a statement from &TV channel.
Rajyashree had long known that her son and daughter-in-law had trouble in their marriage. But it has now come to light that her son had tried to kill Vidhita.
“I am glad that I made my television debut with ‘Perfect Pati’, a show that portrays a mother and her role as a mother-in-law in such a strong positive light. It is imperative that mothers understand their child’s behaviour and not blindly support the wrongdoings or faults in their sons,” Jaya said in a statement.
“Indian society has spent centuries grooming girls to be future good wives (sanskari bahus) but often failing to produce good husbands who deserve them. While growing up, girls are being conditioned to feel that they have to accept their husbands anyway.”
Oh CBN! This Is A Bigger Insult To Late NTR!
In desperate attempts to make people watch Mahanayakudu, TDP leaders are offering free shows for party workers and local leaders.
Chandra Babu Naidu is taking special interest in promoting the film as it shows him as the saviour of Telugu Desam Party during the Nadendla crisis.
It seems Chandrababu wants younger generation of Telugu Desam sympathizers and party workers to believe that he was the one who saved the party by showing camp-politics heroics.
This also seems to be a desperate attempt to counter the upcoming Lakshmi’s NTR in which CBN is shown as the main villain and downfall of NTR.
But screening the biopic of NTR for free in its first week itself is an insult to the late legendary actor who has innumerable blockbusters to his name.
The makers of the biopic of NTR have made a mockery of the visionary leader and one of the greatest actors of all time.
Nandamuri fans wish that the film is taken out of the theaters as soon as possible so that they could get over the embarrassment.

Just days before the release of another look of ‘Saaho’ on March 3, Shraddha Kapoor took to social media to reveal a glimpse of the clip.

Following the hit sneak preview video that was launched on October 22, 2018, the makers of ‘Saaho’, have announced that they will be releasing yet another video featuring the making of the movie on March 3, which happens to be Shraddha’s birthday.

On Prabhas’s birthday (October 22) last year, the first glimpse of the film – ‘Shades Of Saaho’, was released, and it became an instant hit among the fans.
The making video had scenes of a high-octane stunt sequence that were shot in and around Dubai.
The second video is expected to have silhouette shots of Prabhas which were captured using the Dino-Uri 18 KW setting.
Venkaiah Naidu’s son celebrates IAF strikes
Hyderabad: Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu’s son Harshvardhan Naidu participated in the celebrations over the Indian Air Force (IAF) strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan on Tuesday.
Welcoming the IAF strikes across the Line of Control, he joined the celebrations at his car showroom and distributed sweets to the employees. He is the owner of the showroom.
Harshvardhan hailed the action saying he salutes the brave soldiers. The employees also burst firecrackers in celebration.
Meanwhile, youths took out rallies at different places in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to celebrate the air strikes.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers took out a bike rally in Kurnool town of Andhra Pradesh. Holding national flags and raising slogans hailing the IAF strikes, the youth went through the streets.
BJYM leader Srinivasa Chary said the Narendra Modi government had given a befitting reply to Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in India.
