Hiding the negative traits, completely pushing the darkest side into oblivion and showcasing them as demi-gods didn’t work for both NTR and Bal Thackeray. Yes, while “NTR Kathanayakudu” is a huge flop in Telugu, same is the case with ‘late’ Sivasena supremo’s biopic “Thackeray” in Hindi. Despite Maratha pride and else, this biopic failed to get attention from any quarter.

The flop show of these two films is proving that no matter how much love one has on these slain leaders, only their other side of life will be loved on the silver screen, as it happened in the case of ‘Mahanati’ Savitri. And now, everyone is looking forward to YSR’s Yaatra, another biopic that is focused on lifting a deceases leader’s image to the next level.

Only if director Mahi V Raghav focused on realistic presentation and some other traits of YSR that are unknown to the people, the film might work. Else, NTR and Thackeray will get a colleague on the bench, say trade experts. At the same time, even Krish should make the needed corrections in Mahayakudu movie to make sure that he will not sit on the bench this time.

One of the most prestigious films that are coming up from Telugu Cinema Industry is none other than Rajamouli’s #RRR. As many of his Bollywood counterparts are waiting in awe for this movie, we hear that the movie will have a couple of unexpected surprises.

Though it’s not confirmed, Rajamouli is said to have discussed the possibility of bringing in another star hero for a cameo. Recently he has shared the idea of roping in Prabhas for an important cameo in the movie, where he will share the screen with both Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Energetic star Ram Pothineni is going to romance two beauties in his upcoming movie ‘iSmart Shankar’ under the direction of Puri Jagannadh.

After confirming, Nidhhi Agerwal, the makers have locked Kannada beauty Nabha Natesh for the ‘iSmart’ role. Nabha will be seen as ‘Kirak Hyderabadi Pori’ in the movie.

Director Puri’s films will have female leads in authored back roles and we have to see how the dashing director has penned Nidhhi and Nabha characters.

The film is already in the sets with Ram shooting for a high octane action episode. Ram is sporting a new look and he will be seen as a ‘double dimaak Hyderabadi’ in the movie.

‘iSmart Shankar’ is action entertainer having music of Mani Sharma and cinematography of Raj Thota.

Now, all eyes are on recent Telugu blockbuster F2. The Venkatesh and Varun Tej starrer directed by Anil Ravipudi has struck chords with youths and families alike. In fact, the film came out with flying colours despite clashing with biggies like Vinaya Vidheya Rama and NTR : Kathanayakudu. The word-of-mouth talk about F2’s success has spread to Hindi industry. It is learnt that many top filmmakers in Hindi are vying up for the Hindi remake rights of F2.

None other than Dil Raju admitted that he has been in discussion for the Hindi remake of F2. Though Raju hasn’t revealed the names, he is confident that he would close the deal soon. As Dil Raju is a shrewd businessman, he is expecting a fancy price.

On the other hand, once again Satish Vegesna is said to have come up with a family and village themed story yet again. Isn’t that becoming repetitive from him? Perhaps that is the main reason why Srinivasa Kalyanam flopped as the movie lacked any freshness to its predecessor Satamanam Bhavathi.

The on-going Twitter war between director Krish and actress Kangana Ranaut’s sister has turned into an ugly battle over credits. With Krish counter tweets, the issue has become even worse.

Responding to this controversy, actress Tamannaah gave a diplomatic reply. Hailing Kangana’s performance, Tamannaah indirectly supported Krish as well. “I can only say that no one can touch her (Kangana) as an actor and the effort she kept for the film is unbelievable,” said Tamannaah

About the director, this Milky beauty added that “I know Krish. I haven’t worked with him but we belong to the same industry (Tollywood). The film should be kept more important than other things like what Krish has said as creative people have their own opinion.”

Tamannaah called it an unfortunate solution and summed up things. After scoring a super hit with ‘F2,’ Tamannaah will be next seen in ‘That Is Mahalakshmi’ which the remake of Kangana’s ‘Queen.’

Mumbai: National Award-winning actor Akshay Kumar says he was never good at academics but with his hard work and parents’ blessings, he managed pretty well.

Akshay on Wednesday evening re-tweeted a small video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi speaking about how there is more to life than just examinations.

He was motivating students and parents through an interaction session called “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2.0”.

The interactive session was held by Modi for students appearing for board examinations and other entrance examinations.

Akshay captioned the video: “Something I related to… I was never good at academics but with god’s grace, my parents blessings and hard work, I think I managed pretty well. With exams around the corner, I would like to reiterate to students and parents, there is more to life than just exams.”

On the acting front, Akshay, who was last seen on screen in “2.0”, is currently busy shooting for his next “Good News” along with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.
