Nampally Exhbition grounds witnessed a huge fire accident today. There is no clue yet about how the fire erupted, but as per the reports so far, there is a mammoth property loss and no civilian deaths.

The massive fire broke out all of a sudden and visitors at exhibition scared visitors. Fire department arrived the location and already started working on putting the fire down. Four Fire engines are working on the spot now.

Initial reports say the fire broke out first in the ‘Andhra Bank stall’ at exhibition due to short circuit and then it spread to 30 other stalls quickly. There were more visitors at exhibition than usual.

BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao, who has been a vocal critic of Chandrababu Naidu and TDP, has made a shocking claim. GVL claimed that Kia Motors has set up its manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur due to influence of PM Modi. He alleged that CM Chandrababu Naidu is taking credit for Kia’s investment in AP.

GVL also took potshots at Naidu’s Akhilapaksham. He predicted that all-party meeting ‘drama’ by Naidu for the fight of Special Category Status would end up as a colossal flop and Naidu would remain all alone in the Akhilapaksham.

While GVL could make political statements against TDP and Naidu, his claim of giving credit to Modi for Kia’s arrival to AP is being ridiculed by netizens to the core. GVL’s claim of Modi’s efforts behind Kia’s arrival to AP is seen as a big joke. Probably, GVL should make some “believable” claims to score points politically. Making such false claims would only further deteriorate BJP’s image in AP, commented a senior TDP leader from AP.

Energetic star Ram Pothineni’s tweet is winning hearts from all over as he took no sides when it comes displaying his true intentions as a citizen.

Going back to the story what has really happened is, Ram was in delight with the launch of Kia Motors in Andhra Pradesh. Commenting on the AP CM’s tweet, Ram wrote that it is a big step forward for progress of AP. As usual, few of them questioned whether he is pro-Andhra or against.

Responding to the netizens, Ram tweeted that he is citizen first and actor next. “Naa illu sakkapettetodu yevaraithe naakenti annai..nuvvu chey..neeku esta o tweetu .. Andhra naadhe..Telangana naadhe..idhey maata medhunta! Ikkada Kulam led.. Prantham led.. Discussion assal led!,” wrote the energetic star.

Time and again celebrities fail to convince netizens on the issues of region, religion and others. But Ram has handled it quite maturely and salute to his spirit.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has been a crucial global platform for the promotion of Andhra Pradesh as a favourable investment destination in India. When AP IT & Panchayat Raj Minister Nara Lokesh recently represented AP on behalf of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, a top businessman who has made investments globally gave Lokesh a piece of information that shocked him.

Apparently, the businessman was planning to visit India and Andhra Pradesh to finalise his company’s investment in the state. After knowing about his visit to India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited him to Delhi for a meeting. During his meeting with the PM, the businessman was asked to invest in Gujarat. The Prime Minister, according to the businessman, had insisted several times during their meeting that Gujarat would be a favourable destination compared to AP and also spoke about the Bullet Train the Centre is planning from Ahmedabad.

However, the businessman had informed PM Modi that the company had already finalised an investment in Andhra Pradesh based on a case study conducted by their company. The company had done research on Telangana, Maharashtra and Gujarat but went ahead with AP after studying KIA’s investment in the state and its efficiency in granting clearances.

That businessman met Lokesh at the World Economic Forum and during his meeting with the IT Minister, shared this experience. Additionally, the businessman also said that another reason for investing in AP is “Brand Chandrababu” which assures political stability and government’s cooperation in conducting business and obtaining clearances smoothly within a given time-frame.

This piece of information made AP Delegation at WEF feel proud about the CM’s efforts in developing the state and now has become a talk in political circles. If this is true, then Chandrababu’s constant allegations about Modi trying to divert investments away from AP turns out to be true.
