The Congress party might have declared that it will not have any pre-election alliance with the Telugu Desam Party in the ensuing general elections in Andhra Pradesh, but it is ready to have an alliance with YSR Congress party headed by Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Jana Sena Party headed by actor Pawan Kalyan.
Well, this was the opinion of senior Congress leader and former MP from Tirupati Chinta Mohan.
He told media in Tirupati on Thursday that the Congress was ready to ally with YSRC for Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections if Jagan Reddy had no objection.
“if the alliance materializes, we don’t mind giving the chief minister post to Jagan,” he said.
In the same breath, Chinta Mohan also said the Congress was also ready to ally with Jana Sena Party.
He said that Pawan Kalyan was the brother of Chiranjeevi, who belonged to the Congress, so there would be nothing wrong in having an alliance with Jana Sena.
However, the Congress leader said the comments were entirely his personal opinions, but said he would talk to the high command about these alliances if necessary.
Chinta Mohan hailed the party’s decision to contesting alone and not joining hands with TDP for coming polls in AP.
He said the Congress would have to face serious troubles had it allied with the TDP in AP, as had happened in Telangana.
“The Congress party is not ready to repeat the same mistake,” he said.
Meanwhile, APCC president N Raghuveera Reddy lashed out at YSRCP for alleging that the Congress was contesting the election in AP alone only to split the anti-establishment votes, so as to benefit the TDP.
“It is utterly ridiculous and shameless on the part of the YSRC to make such allegations,” he said.
During the Telangana agitation, using the money they allegedly extorted from Andhra businessmen, KCR family started ‘Namasthe Telangana’ newspaper.
KTR used to oversee the management of the newspaper and it soon started incurring losses.
The newspaper was then taken over by ‘Bada Brahmin’ contractor CL Rajam. Maybe it was luck or efficient management, the newspaper made a turnaround into profits.
Rajam who was a close friend and financier of KCR was promised a Rajya Sabha seat but equations changed after the formation of Telangana.
Not only was Rajam not sent to the Rajya Sabha, his newspaper ‘Namasthe Telangana’ was forcibly taken over by KCR who felt the need for a Party mouthpiece.
An infuriated Rajam quit the TRS and joined the BJP. But the Party has hardly any presence in Telangana and during the recent elections, Rajam promoted the Congress vigorously in his new Telugu newspaper Vijaya Kranthi.
With TRS romping back to power and the BJP not in a position to accommodate Rajam’s Raya Sabha aspirations as of now, the wait could get longer for this Brahmin billionaire.
“Mr. Majnu feels like my debut film. This should have been my first film,” Akhil told during his media interaction.
Nagarjuna said Hello is a re launch for Akhil after his debut film Akhil bombed at the box office. Sadly, re launch also didn’t yield desired results for Akhil that he had to cut down on budget in his third attempt.
While Akhil and Hello fell into Rs. 40 crore bracket, Mr. Majnu falls into under Rs. 25 crore bracket, which makes it a bit easier for the Akkineni Prince to score a success.
However, Mr. Majnu clearly lacks the pre release buzz and hype that his first two movies had. Although the film looks promising with good songs and decent looking promos, it hasn’t raised curiosity among the film buffs.
Mr. Majnu needs to open to positive word of mouth to cash in on the weekend. It doesn’t have much competition from straight films, but it may face stiff competition in Hyderabad with Manikarnika getting maximum number of shows in multiplexes.
Mr. Majnu is directed by Venky Atluri who scored a hit with his debut film Tholi Prema. The director yet again offers a youth-friendly film with lot of contemporary elements.
We brings to you the Mr Majnu experience and all the excitement of this gripping fare live via tweet review.

The latest bonhomie with Telangana Rashtra Samithi headed by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is not going to help YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in any way in the forthcoming assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
This is the opinion expressed by majority of the people who took part in the online survey in the last week. The voting closed on Wednesday.
According to the survey, out of 15,794 netizens who participated in the poll, as many as 9005 people, accounting for 57.02 per cent, felt that the tie-up with KCR would not help Jagan in the coming elections.
It is not exactly clear whether the friendship with KCR would damage Jagan’s prospects, if not help him.
Poll: Will tie-up with KCR help Jagan in Andhra elections?
Only 5,721 people, accounting for 36.22 per cent, felt that the tie-up with Jagan might help the YSRC in the elections. Another 1,068 voters (6.76 per cent) could not make any judgement. The people of Andhra might not relish the entry of KCR in Andhra to campaign for Jagan in the assembly elections, as a part of ‘return gift’ to TDP president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
If KCR’s intention is really to forge a federal front in association with YSRC, he could do so after the assembly elections. If KCR is planning to make use of Jagan to take revenge on Naidu, it might prove disaster for Jagan!
Before the release of ‘F2’, senior actor Rajendra Prasad was telling everyone that he’s the real star in the movie.
He even wanted media men to give more coverage to him than Venkatesh or Varun Tej. He asked media people to take his solo interviews.
“After the release, you will be shocked to know that audiences and critics would talk about my performance. My role will be the main highlight,” he told the journalists.
The film’s result and the response from the audiences came as a shock to Rajendra Prasad. Venkatesh’s performance is the main highlight, critics declared.
The audiences’ reaction is the same. Even Varun Tej also got good appreciation in the role of a simple Borabanda boy.
No one specially mentioned about Rajendra Prasad. All his hopes came crashing down.
Akkineni Nagarjuna has been trying to take careful steps after a disaster like Officer. Even though he did give an average film like Devadas, he is busy in coming up with sequels of Manmadhudu and Soggade Chinni Nayana, his big hits.
Many did not know if Soggade Chinni Nayana sequel will start first or Manmadhudu sequel will? Nag in an interview did say that he is planning a 55 to 60 day schedule for his next in Europe.Last year, he accepted films in other languages with Dhanush and Ranbir. He shot for Brahmastra, Ranbir film and Dhanush film is said to have been put on a hold.
So, he is even more careful to start his next in Telugu. From March, he is going to start the production, it seems. He also suggested that the movie will be over at one go. So, mostly we can conclude that the movie is sequel of Manmadhudu in Europe. Rahul Ravidran is writing and directing, the film.
Trivikram Srinivas is known for making films that are known for being safe products and family films that will fetch better Satellite deals and even better collections at Overseas market. In his illustrious career, he failed twice with Mahesh’s Khaleja and Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavasi. Khaleja is still a fan favourite but Agnyathavasi gained the writer-director many trolls and anti-fans.
But he is the most knowledgeable directors and writers in the current generation and even his competitors like Sukumar, SS Rajamouli agree with this statement. So, Allu Arjun waited for him to complete Aravindha Sametha and when it became a hit, he immediately blocked him to direct his next.
Allu Arjun did have a say in casting of his films for Duvvada Jagannadam and Naa Peru Surya. But this time, he left it completely to Trivikram it seems. He is waiting for the script to be finished by the writer-director, to start the shoot, it seems.
