Power Star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has been making allegations of corruption against Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for quite some time.Of late, he has been making wild allegations against YSR Congress party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, in his eagerness to project himself as a paragon of virtues, clean and only non-corrupt leader in the entire state.

What is more, whenever there is an occasion, Pawan claims himself to be a simple man with moderate life style and had sacrificed his career in films that would have fetched him hundreds of crores of rupees – only for the sake of doing service to people.

He often says he had come up in life as a son of a constable and had no money even to pay EMI for his car and salaries to his driver. He even calls Jana Sena as party of the poor and it is run with people’s contributions.

Such a simple and so-called honest man is learnt to have constructed a palatial bungalow at Plot No. 627, Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. The cost of the house is said to be around Rs 30 crore.According to sources, Pawan performed Gruha Pravesham (house warming ceremony) for the new house on November 9.

It is learnt all his family members, including his elder brother megastar Chiranjeevi attended the house warming ceremony.The founder of Praja Rajyam Party, who later merged it with the Congress, is said to be supporting Pawan’s Jana Sena Party and might take a plunge into the party at an appropriate time.

While Pawan has been enjoying all the luxuries, his frenzied Jana Sainiks go mad over his philosophical speeches!

If Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has his way, Nandamuri Suhasini, daughter of former TDP politburo member late Nandamuri Harikrishna, will contest the assembly elections in Telangana.

According to sources, Suhasini, who got married and shifted to Kakinada long back, is being forced by her in-laws to contest the assembly elections.She is likely to file the nomination from Kukatpalli, which was allotted to the TDP by the Congress as part of the grand alliance.It is learnt both her brothers, Junior NTR and Kalyanram are against Suhasini contesting the elections on the TDP ticket.

But Naidu is said to be bringing pressure on her through her in-laws to enter the poll fray. Suhasini is wife of Srikanth, son of former MP Chundru Srihari.It all began with some local leaders of the TDP approaching Naidu to request him to field a strong candidate from Kukatpalli, preferably one from the family of legendary actor and TDP founder N T Rama Rao, in the forthcoming elections.

In fact, the TDP leaders told Naidu that they had contacted Kalyanram and requested him to contest the elections, but he had not evinced interested in the same. Later they suggested the name of Suhasini.Kukatpally is one of the key constituencies in the state where the majority of voters are Semandhra settlers and they are all great fans of NTR.

Hence, they wanted a member of NTR family to contest. Since Harikrishna died very recently, they felt Suhasini could get a lot of sympathy votes. Naidu agreed to the suggestion and is trying to bring pressure on her to contest.

Let us see whether she says yes to the proposal or not.

Hyderabad: Almost all the newspapers in the Telugu States have increased their prices except for Sakshi.YS Jagan has reportedly told the management of Sakshi not to increase the cost until the election is over.

Also, Sakshi is distributing free copies in large numbers in rural and semi-urban areas which have limited accessibility.While this will eat into the profit margins of the publication, the dissemination of information will yield rich electoral dividends to the YSRCP.

As for Andhra Jyothi, Naidu allegedly gave Radhakrishna around Rs 150 crore after winning the election in 2014 and print was immediately changed to ‘colour’.The chubby journalist can expect another windfall if TDP wins again in 2019.

Surprising as it might sound, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao does not have any account on the social media platforms, whether it is Twitter of Facebook.

And he does not even have his own e-mail ID, though in the capacity of chief minister, he has official mail ID and Facebook and Twitter accounts run by the Chief Minister’s Office, an affidavit submitted by KCR along with his nomination papers to the returning officer at Gajwel Revenue Divisional Officer on Wednesday.

However, he has a gmail account, whose ID is: vpreddy0003@gmail.com, Apparently, KCR’s gmail account is being operated by his close associate and ex-Balkonda MLA Vemula Prashant Reddy, who recently stepped down from the post of Mission Bhagiratha Commission vice-chairman post.

Interestingly, KCR’s son and Telangana IT minister K T Rama Rao and daughter K Kavitha, Lok Sabha member from Nizamabad, are highly tech-savvy and are very active in the social media.Though they have their respective social media managers, they personally post their observations on Twitter and reply to the feedback.

In his election affidavit, KCR declared his total assets worth over Rs 22.60 crore, but neither he nor his wife Shobha owns any vehicle. He has become richer by about Rs.6 crore since he took over as the chief minister in 2014.

KCR’s total movable assets are valued at over Rs 10.40 crore while his wife K. Shobha has movable assets of over Rs 94.5 lakh. He has immovable assets of about Rs 12.20 crore which includes 54-acre agriculture land valued at Rs 6.50 crore.

The TRS chief declared his profession as agriculturist and his wife as home maker. He put his annual income for financial year 2017-18 at Rs 2.07 crore including agricultural income of Rs 91.52 lakh.He declared that he has investments of Rs 4.71 crore in shares of Telangana Broadcasting Private Limited. He has Rs 5.63 crore in bank accounts and fixed deposit.KCR owns a house in Hyderabad and another in Karimnagar, together valued at Rs.5.10 crore. He also has 2.04 acre non-agriculture land in Siddipet district valued Rs 60 lakh.

He owns 75 grams of jewellery worth Rs 2.40 lakh and has Rs 2.40 lakh cash in hand while his wife has 2,200 grams of gold jewellery, diamonds and valuables gems/stone worth Rs 93,66,184 and Rs. 93,595 cash in hand.According to the affidavit, KCR has liabilities to the tune of Rs 8.88 crore in the form of unsecured loans.He owes Rs.82.82 lakh to his son K. T. Rama Rao and Rs 24.65 lakh to his daughter-in-law Shailima. He has no bank loans.
