Actor Allu Sirish tied the knot with Nayanika Reddy on March 6, 2026, in Hyderabad. The wedding was an intimate affair, attended only by close family and friends, and the celebration looked straight out of a fairytale.
Speaking to Variety India, Sirish shared a piece of advice he received from his elder brother Allu Arjun before the wedding. “My father and brother usually prefer people to learn from their own experiences and rarely give advice unless asked. But Allu Arjun told me that something will definitely go wrong during the wedding — maybe the clothes won’t arrive on time or there might be some delays. He said not to stress about it because these are the best moments of your life,” Sirish recalled.
Sirish also opened up about how their relationship began. The couple first met at a party held during the wedding celebrations of his cousin Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi in October 2023. “We started talking there. It was a slow-burn romance. We were friends initially, though there was attraction from the beginning. Both of us decided to take it slowly,” he said.
The couple officially began dating in October 2025. They initially planned to date for a year before marriage, but things moved faster than expected. Sirish also hosted a few informal dinners for family members from both sides to bond, including one at the residence of actor Ram Charan. “By the time the wedding arrived, everyone felt like family,” he added.
During the wedding, the bride looked stunning in a champagne-gold Kanjeevaram saree paired with ruby-diamond jewellery, while Sirish wore an ivory sherwani with a traditional dhoti.
The intimate ceremony marked a joyous start to their married life, celebrated among loved ones in Hyderabad.
Vishal Slams Rajendra Prasad Over MGR Comment
Vishal (actor) has strongly criticised the recent remarks made by veteran Telugu actor Rajendra Prasad about the legendary Tamil icon M. G. Ramachandran, popularly known as MGR. Vishal urged the senior actor to apologise for what he described as demeaning comments about the iconic leader.
The controversy began after Rajendra Prasad, while speaking at a recent event, praised veteran Telugu actor Kanta Rao. In the process of highlighting Kanta Rao’s greatness, he reportedly made remarks that were perceived as belittling MGR, a figure who continues to be deeply respected in Tamil Nadu.
Reacting to the comments, Vishal took to social media platform X to express his disappointment. He wrote that it was “shocking and repelling” to hear such remarks from a senior actor of the Telugu film industry.
Addressing Rajendra Prasad respectfully, Vishal said that while praising a legendary actor like Kanta Rao is admirable, it should not come at the cost of undermining another iconic personality like MGR, who is remembered not only as a celebrated actor but also as a revered political leader in Tamil Nadu.
He further noted that the comments had hurt the sentiments of many people and requested Rajendra Prasad to put an end to the controversy in the best possible way. Vishal concluded his message by politely urging the veteran actor to offer an apology, expressing hope that the issue would be resolved amicably.
