It’s Hrithik vs NTR: Ayan Mukerji Sets the Stage for War 2

Share

For Ayan, War 2 isn’t merely a sequel — it’s a reinvention. “I treated it as my first film,” he revealed, emphasizing his fresh perspective on the franchise. With the backing of Yash Raj Films and Kiara Advani playing the female lead, the film is envisioned as a true pan-India spectacle, built to transcend language and regional boundaries.

One of the most significant creative challenges, Ayan explained, was crafting a believable and compelling conflict between Hrithik and NTR’s characters — one that feels organic rather than engineered. Months were spent refining the story, choreographing high-octane action sequences, and ensuring that both stars had equal opportunity to shine, without diminishing the other’s presence.

“This film had to be more than just two superstars sharing screen space,” Ayan emphasized. “It had to mean something.”

With War 2 slated for release on August 14, 2025, all eyes are on what promises to be one of the biggest cinematic events in recent memory — a high-stakes showdown that could redefine the future of Indian big-budget storytelling.

Rana Daggubati Turns Detective in Kaantha

Share

Rana Daggubati steps into a compelling new avatar in Kaantha, portraying a detective navigating the layered streets of 1950s Madras. Set against the backdrop of a newly independent India in the throes of social change, the film promises a nuanced blend of history, mystery, and human drama.

Marking a sharp turn from his gritty role in Rana Naidu Season 2, Rana’s character in Kaantha is built on quiet intensity and psychological depth rather than spectacle. The film leans into mood and atmosphere, focusing on the internal conflicts of its characters amidst the larger sociopolitical shifts of the era.

Joining Rana is Dulquer Salmaan in a key role, adding weight to the already exciting collaboration. Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead, though details about her character remain under wraps. Still, her casting hints at a layered narrative enriched by strong performances.

With principal photography now complete, the makers have begun unveiling glimpses from the film. The recently revealed look of Rana’s character has already sparked intrigue. The visuals so far suggest a grounded, serious tone—one shaped by its historical setting and complex emotional undercurrents.

As anticipation builds, the first teaser is expected soon, offering audiences a deeper look into Kaantha’s immersive world—one defined more by its choices and silences than by noise.

RK Sagar’s The 100 Set for July 11 Release

RK Sagar, best known for his role in the popular TV serial Mogali Rekulu, is making a comeback to the big screen with an intense cop drama titled The 100. Directed by Raghav Omkar Sasidhar and produced by Ramesh Karutoori and Venki Pushadapu, the film promises a gripping narrative centered around justice and duty.

The film’s teaser, unveiled by Mega Star Pawan Kalyan’s mother Anjana Devi, has garnered a positive response from audiences, raising expectations for the project.

The makers have now locked the release date—The 100 will hit theatres on July 11. With several major releases slated for the latter half of the month, this early July slot is seen as a strategic and promising window.

Music for the film is composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. The recently released single, “Hey Meghale”, is an inspiring track that captures the essence of RK Sagar’s character—an IPS officer on a relentless mission to cleanse society of evil. Sung powerfully by Revanth and Sahithi Chaganti, the song has already struck a chord with listeners.

Misha Narang stars as the female lead in this socially-driven action drama, which is being jointly produced under the banners of KRIA Film Corp and Dhamma Productions.

Nagarjuna 2.0: A Bold Reinvention in 2025

Share

It’s rare to see a star reinvent himself after decades in the spotlight, but if there’s one name that continues to surprise and inspire Telugu cinema fans, it’s Akkineni Nagarjuna. In 2025, the veteran actor is rewriting the rules — not just by choosing unconventional roles, but by excelling in them with remarkable ease.

Fresh off the critical and commercial success of Kuberaa, Nagarjuna delivered a performance that reminded everyone of his acting prowess. As a righteous man entangled in a web of moral dilemmas, he brought depth, restraint, and a haunting vulnerability to the role. It wasn’t just the character’s emotional complexity that stood out — it was how seamlessly Nagarjuna embodied a man torn between ideals and survival. His portrayal struck a chord with both audiences and critics, marking one of his most powerful performances in recent memory.

But that was only the beginning.

In just a few weeks, fans will witness an astonishing transformation as Nagarjuna steps into a radically different avatar — the main antagonist in Coolie, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s highly anticipated action drama starring Superstar Rajinikanth. That’s right. The same actor who moved hearts with his spiritually conflicted role in Kuberaa will now channel raw menace and power as a formidable villain in one of the year’s most awaited films.

Such a drastic shift — from a morally torn protagonist to a ruthless antagonist — is no small feat, especially within a tightly packed shooting schedule. But it’s this very ability to switch gears, to immerse himself completely in contrasting characters, that sets Nagarjuna apart. At 64, he’s not chasing stardom or sticking to safe zones. He’s choosing challenges, experimenting with genres, and proving that true reinvention knows no age.

And if Kuberaa has won hearts and Coolie is building unstoppable buzz, there’s even more to look forward to. Nagarjuna’s upcoming solo starrer, which also happens to be his landmark 100th film, is generating immense excitement. While details remain under wraps, the stakes and expectations couldn’t be higher.

2025 might just go down as the year Nagarjuna shattered every mold — not just with his daring choices, but with the finesse and fearlessness he brings to each role. In an industry that often sidelines senior stars, Nagarjuna is not just staying relevant — he’s rewriting what relevance looks like.

Ketika Sharma Stuns in Casual Yet Confident Photoshoot

Share

Shot in what appears to be a hotel room, Ketika is seen sporting a grey crop top paired with bold red shorts. Her natural curls frame her face and body beautifully, adding to the raw and effortless vibe of the shoot. Whether she’s turning away from the camera or meeting it head-on, each pose emphasizes her ease and control over how she presents herself.

The eye is naturally drawn to her curves—especially her waistline and hips—which she showcases confidently without relying on filters or digital enhancements. Her body language does most of the storytelling. Whether she’s leaning against a counter or standing beside a mirror, her posture subtly highlights her toned midriff, defined thighs, and the way her outfit contours to her form.

Each frame feels casual yet intentional. The placement of her hands, the arch of her back, the shift of her weight—it all contributes to a visual flow that feels both relaxed and empowered.

She captioned the post “moodboard musings,” but the visuals speak volumes. Following her performance in #Single, Ketika seems to be embracing a phase where she’s confidently owning her image—unfiltered, real, and fiercely present.

Akhil Pins Hopes on Lenin After Chay & Nag’s Comeback

Share

The Akkineni fans are currently riding high, with both Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna delivering solid hits at the box office. After enduring a rough patch, the duo has made a strong comeback with Thandel and Kubera respectively. Now, all hopes are pinned on Akhil Akkineni, whose upcoming film Lenin is generating cautious optimism among fans.

Akhil is going through a particularly challenging phase in his career. His last outing, Agent, was a major disappointment at the box office. The high-budget action flick faced heavy criticism for being misaligned with Akhil’s current market value, leading to repeated jibes that he’s being “re-launched” with every new film.

Nagarjuna, too, faced a similar crossroad post Naa Saami Ranga, which did not perform as expected. After taking time to reassess his choices, he signed on for Kubera. Playing a corrupt CBI officer with complex shades of gray, Nagarjuna impressed with a raw, grounded performance. His role in Kubera, directed by Sekhar Kammula, has earned him significant praise and is seen as a major contributor to the film’s success.

Meanwhile, Thandel has proven to be a turning point for Naga Chaitanya. After a series of underwhelming films, Thandel has not only revived his career but also boosted his box office appeal. The film has redefined his trajectory, and fans are thrilled to see Chay back in form.

Now, the spotlight shifts to Akhil and Lenin. While the film is being helmed by a relatively lesser-known director, the recent success of his father and brother has created a positive buzz around Akhil’s project. With the momentum swinging in the Akkineni camp’s favor, it remains to be seen whether Lenin can finally mark a turning point in Akhil’s career.

Adnan Sami Calls Pakistan His ‘Ex-Lover’, Celebrates New Song Release

Share

Renowned singer Adnan Sami, who became an Indian citizen in 2016, recently described Pakistan as his “ex-lover” in a candid interview. He explained that much like a former partner who struggles to see you move on, Pakistan’s response to his transition has been filled with resentment and lingering emotion.

Sami, who initially rose to fame in India during the late 1990s with a string of hit songs and collaborations with prominent Bollywood stars, emphasized that while migration is common worldwide, his case is unique due to the deeply rooted tensions between India and Pakistan. “It’s more about emotion than reason,” he stated, acknowledging the complex historical and political backdrop that colors public reactions.

Today, Adnan Sami takes pride in his Indian identity. He expressed empathy for those who feel hurt by his decision, noting that the sentiments often stem from a longstanding national rivalry rather than personal animosity.

Amidst this emotional discourse, the singer has also turned the spotlight back to music. His newly released single, “Aao Na,” is quickly gaining popularity, reaffirming his place in the contemporary music scene.

Kuberaa Celebrates Box Office Success

Share

With glowing reviews pouring in from all quarters, Kuberaa is enjoying a phenomenal run at the box office. Buoyed by the strong word-of-mouth and widespread audience appreciation, the team came together to celebrate the film’s success.

Producer Suniel Narang expressed his delight over the film’s reception and growing collections.

“The response has been truly heartening. We’re confident that the collections will only rise further, thanks to the positive buzz and the emotional connect audiences are experiencing,” he said.

Director Sekhar Kammula, known for his rooted storytelling, spoke passionately about the vision behind Kuberaa.

“I wanted to tell a grounded story and present Mumbai in a way that hasn’t been explored before on screen. When we shared this idea with Nagarjuna, he agreed instantly — the same with Dhanush. Kuberaa is one of the most honest and finest films I’ve made. Dhanush’s performance has been captured beautifully, and audiences are really connecting with it.

Nagarjuna’s role, especially, has left a lasting emotional impact. While a few have pointed out the film’s length, I believe repeat viewings will uncover its many layers. We stayed true to the story at every step, and I’m deeply grateful for the overwhelming response.”

Veteran star Nagarjuna also shared his joy at being part of the film.

“I have to thank Suniel — he’s like family. I’d always wanted to work with Sekhar Kammula, especially since Amala, Sumanth, and Naga Chaitanya have all collaborated with him.

Kuberaa breaks away from routine cinema. It reminded me of classics like Mayabazar, Missamma, and Gundamma Katha. It’s unmistakably a Sekhar Kammula film.

This project has been a turning point for me personally — it’s inspired me to take on more experimental and layered roles. I’m already looking forward to working with Sekhar again.”

As Kuberaa continues to draw audiences into theatres, its success reaffirms the power of sincere storytelling and meaningful performances in today’s cinema landscape.

Visakhapatnam Sets New Guinness Yoga Record

Share

In a spectacular celebration of the 11th International Day of Yoga, Visakhapatnam hosted the main national event on Saturday, drawing over 3.01 lakh participants to RK Beach. The mega event, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, set a new Guinness World Record for the largest yoga gathering at a single venue, surpassing the previous record of 1.47 lakh participants set in Surat in 2023.

The event spanned a 28-km stretch from RK Beach to Bhogapuram and saw the participation of key dignitaries, including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, and several central and state ministers.

The celebration marked the culmination of the month-long ‘Yogandhra’ campaign, which engaged a staggering 2.17 crore people across Andhra Pradesh. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a wide cross-section of society—political leaders, bureaucrats, professionals, students, senior citizens, youth, women, and children—all united by yoga’s universal appeal.

Notably, 11,000 personnel from the Indian Navy and their families joined the session, while the Eastern Naval Command also conducted parallel yoga events aboard ships anchored off Visakhapatnam’s coast.

To ensure smooth coordination, authorities established 326 designated compartments for synchronized performance of yoga asanas. These were systematically managed through 607 Urban Secretariats and additional teams from rural secretariats.

A day prior to the main event, Visakhapatnam also hosted another record-breaking event—a mass Surya Namaskar session featuring 22,122 tribal students, which earned a separate Guinness certificate.

After the main event, representatives from the Guinness World Records handed over official certificates to ministers Nara Lokesh and Satya Kumar, acknowledging both record-breaking achievements.

Minister Nara Lokesh expressed immense satisfaction at the event’s success, describing it as a gift to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a triumph for the people of Andhra Pradesh. He credited the widespread awareness and enthusiastic public response fostered by the Yogandhra campaign for the record-breaking turnout, and said the Prime Minister’s words of appreciation have further strengthened his resolve and responsibilities.

Rising Wave of Anti-Jagan Political Films

Share

During Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tenure, several films critical of the TDP and actor-politician Pawan Kalyan were released, some even sparking legal battles. Now, with the alliance government in power and Pawan Kalyan himself part of the cabinet, discussions have resurfaced about producing films that target Jagan’s administration.

Insiders reveal that certain individuals are urging government leaders to greenlight such projects, emphasizing that the next four years are a pivotal window to produce multiple films exposing alleged flaws in Jagan’s governance. Alongside the political motive, there is a strong financial incentive—once approvals are granted, funding is expected to be readily available, encouraging rapid productions aimed at maximizing returns.

Scripts are reportedly in development, drawing on controversial episodes from Jagan’s rule, such as the button-press launches, “Siddham” meetings, and the covered stage shows during his tours. These films aim to spotlight these incidents through compelling storytelling. Compared to earlier films targeting Chandrababu, Lokesh, or Pawan, the volume of planned anti-Jagan productions seems notably higher.

Yogandhra 2025: Global Yoga Day Takes Centre Stage in Visakhapatnam

Share

Andhra Pradesh has emerged as a beacon of wellness and unity as Visakhapatnam proudly hosts the main event of the 11th International Day of Yoga. The port city is at the heart of a historic moment, as the global spotlight turns toward India’s yoga legacy.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Visakhapatnam on Friday evening to lead the celebrations, commended the leadership of Andhra Pradesh for positioning India at the forefront of global wellness initiatives. He was received at Visakhapatnam Airport by Governor S. Abdul Nazar, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, State Minister Nara Lokesh, and other dignitaries.

Taking to social media platform X, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu stated:

“Honoured to receive Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji at Visakhapatnam today, alongside Shri @ncbn Garu. His visit marks a proud moment for Andhra Pradesh, as we host Yogandhra 2025 — a national celebration of International Yoga Day right here in Vizag. As the world turns its attention to the transformative power of yoga, it is inspiring to see our state take centre stage in this global movement for wellness and unity.”

During an interaction with the Chief Minister, Deputy CM, and Union Minister, the Prime Minister appreciated the state government’s efforts in planning the mega event at an unprecedented scale.

Chief Minister Naidu informed the Prime Minister that Yogandhra 2025 would set new world records in yoga participation. After his arrival, the Prime Minister proceeded to INS Dega Naval Air Station, before retiring for the night at the Navy guesthouse.

On Saturday morning, PM Modi will join over 3.19 lakh participants at RK Beach, performing the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) in a massive demonstration of India’s global wellness vision. He will be accompanied by Union Minister of State for AYUSH and Health, Prataprao Jadhav, and CM Chandrababu Naidu.

The main event, scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., spans a 26-kilometer stretch from RK Beach to Bhogapuram, forming the heart of the ‘Yoga Sangam’ initiative — synchronised with over 10 lakh locations across India.

Chief Minister Naidu posted on X:

“All districts of Andhra Pradesh are geared up to participate in the grand culmination of Yogandhra. Over 2 crore people will join this movement across 1 lakh+ locations in our state. To join this historic celebration, find your nearest venue and participate. Together, let’s make YogaAndhra2025 a proud moment for our state!”

The state aims to break two Guinness World Records and achieve a total of 22 world records through this initiative. Elaborate arrangements have been made to facilitate the participation of lakhs of citizens both on-site and remotely.

The month-long Yogandhra initiative (May 21 – June 21) featured over 15,000 yoga competitions held from village to state levels at iconic and tourist locations. A total of 5,451 master trainers facilitated these events, with certificates issued to 1.05 crore+ participants, each linked with Aadhaar and provided a unique QR code for authentication.

This year’s Yoga Day is themed “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.” Looking ahead, Andhra Pradesh is working towards incorporating yoga into school curricula from Class 9 onward, with plans to introduce yoga sessions once or twice a week. There are also proposals to establish a dedicated deemed university for yoga education and research.

As the world embraces the unifying and transformative power of yoga, Andhra Pradesh has firmly placed itself at the helm of a global wellness renaissance.

The RajaSaab’ Nears Completion, Set for Dec 5 Release

Share

The makers of director Maruthi’s much-anticipated magnum opus The RajaSaab, starring pan-Indian icon Prabhas, have confirmed that 95% of the film’s shoot is complete. Only three songs and minor patchwork remain before the production wraps up.

Speaking to IANS from the film’s massive set — a grand haunted mansion specially constructed for the project — producer T.G. Vishwa Prasad shared updates on the shoot. “We have three songs left to shoot and some minor patchwork. Otherwise, the film is almost done,” he said. Sparing no expense, the producer assured that the film is being crafted to world-class standards.

The RajaSaab will feature cutting-edge VFX, including 3D computer-generated imagery, aiming to elevate the visual storytelling experience. The film has already made headlines for being shot on the largest horror-fantasy set ever constructed in India — a towering, eerie mansion surrounded by an unsettling silence.

Director Maruthi had earlier stated during the teaser launch that his goal was to prove that “we can make a Walt Disney-level film in India too.”

The film boasts a powerful ensemble cast alongside Prabhas, including Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar — each contributing to the layers of mystery in the cursed mansion’s tale.

Produced by People Media Factory, The RajaSaab is slated for a grand theatrical release on December 5, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, promising a truly pan-Indian cinematic experience.
