Samantha in a Fix Due to Her Hubby
Samantha has pinned lot of hopes on ‘U Turn’, her first heroine-oriented thriller that is scheduled for release on September 13. This thriller is set for release in Telugu and Tamil languages simultaneously.She has already begun promoting the thriller as the release date is nearing. Now she is in fix.
In a sudden twist, her husband’s Naga Chaitanya has postponed his upcoming release “Shailaja Redddy Alludu” from August 31st to a later date in September.As the music director Gopi Sunder’s music studio in Kochi is affected by floods in Kerala, the film’s rerecording work has not been completed yet.Hence, the makers are now planning to release it either in the first week or second weekend of September. In that case, she will have to compete with her hubby’s film.
On the other hand, her uncle Nagarjuna’s multi-starrer with Nani “Devadas” is releasing towards the end of September.If she postpones her film, she will have to compete with her uncle, if she sticks to the same date, her husband film will compete with her movie. This is a big dilemma for her.
Husband Changed in Telangana Ad, Wife Offended
In a major political goof-up, an ad published by the Telangana state government on Independence Day (Aug 15) has stroked a major controversy when a woman featured in the ad has stated that she was neither the beneficiary of the government scheme nor she is the actual wife of the guy who is also shown in the ad.
Nagaraju Nayakula and his wife Padma who belong to a village from Kodad in Suryapet are going through a great ordeal ever since the state government published full page ads in various mainstream newspapers on August 15 on the launch of Rythu Bhima (Farmers Insurance scheme) and Kanti Velugu (Eye Test Program), the brainchild of CM KCR.
While some newspapers had carried the family picture of Nagaraju, wife Padma and their daughter as beneficiaries of Rythu Bhima scehem, the ads in other newspapers said to have portrayed Padma and her daughter with other man. Padma alleged that the photograph was clearly morphed and accommodated another man in the place of her husband. She alleged that this has caused major embarrassment to her and her husband among relatives, neighbors and friends. Padma said her family is going through a lot of public shaming after the incident. She said her in-laws and relatives are unable to come out of their homes due to this.
According to the couple, the family was approached to pose for pictures on the promise of providing loans. This had happened 3 years ago when they had gone to Vangapalli near Yadagirigutta. And much to their dismay, later their pictures were used in bad way by showcasing husband Nagaraju as the guy who had given up his drinking habit. Then the couple had taken up the issue to their village Sarpanch since they had no idea whom to convey the problem and the Sarpanch had reportedly subdued it.
But much worse happened to them this Aug 15 when they had noticed the ads in various papers. After this, the couple approached TPCC working president who had brought the issue to the light by showcasing it to media. Couple Padma and Nagaraju told media that Rythu Bhima doesn’t apply to them since they don’t own any land anywhere. Nagaraju and Padma are now expecting compensation from the Telangana state government for their ordeal, public embarrassment.
Meanwhile, government officials of I&PR department have blamed on the two ad agencies and said an inquiry is underway.

In a shocking incident, YCP leaders have fought verbally and thrown challenges in front of Vijay Sai Reddy. All through this was seen by party leaders, workers who were taken aback by the sudden developments. Going into details, This took place on Sunday in Visakhapatnam district, where two leaders of Yelamanchili constituency engaged in verbal fight. Ex MLA and constituency incharge Kannababu Raju and ex co-ordinator of constituency Boddeda Prasad have blamed each other in public meeting.
While Boddeda Prasad accused Kannababu of trying to malign his image and doing bad propaganda against him that he had made money in the previous election, Prasad publicly stated that he had properly distributed money to women voters that was entrusted upon him by then candidate Kannababu. Prasad said he had distributed money to voters and even properly explained the figures, calculations to Kannababu, but he said he has been targeted unnecessarily by Kannababu. Prasad told Vijay Sai Reddy that many are conspiring him to throw away from party.
Meanwhile, Kannababu has made shocking comments. He stated publicly that he was the one who had given highest donation to Jagan. He further stated that he knows who is what and who had played role behind’s failure in the previous election. Kannababu said he wouldn’t listen to anyone (hinting at Vijay Sai Reddy) and he wouldn’t mend his ways. He made it clear that he knows how to win the next election.
With all this happened in front of all the party leaders and workers, Vijay Sai Reddy tried to convince the both leaders but in vain. At the end, Vijay Sai Reddy asked both the leaders to clam down for their aim to make Jagan Mohan Reddy as the nex CM.

Trade Buzz: Bad News For Akkineni Fans
Akkineni fans that are eagerly waiting for the release of Sailaja Reddy Alludu would have to wait for a few more days to witness Naga Chaitanya back on screen.Sailaja Reddy Alludu release has been reportedly pushed to September due to delay in the post production work.We have earlier reported that the rerecording work of the film hasn’t yet completed as music director Gopi Sundar is stuck in flood-hit Kerala.
Other works have been stalled too as director Maruthi also is in Kerala. So the makers have decided to postpone the release by a couple of weeks to avoid last minute tensions.According to trade buzz, Sailaja Reddy Alludu will be pushed to September first or second week. Although it is bad news for Akkineni fans, it is great news for @Nartanasala starring Naga Shaurya.The film is slated for release on Aug 30 and it would have been head-on clash with Sailaja Reddy Alludu.
