Pawan Kalyan is at it again. He has once again made threatening comments against the state’s development. In his fresh treat, Pawan vowed that he would stop the Capital City Amaravati. Firing on a senior politician Chandrababu, Pawan said he wouldn’t spare him if he takes decisions as per his whims and fancies. “We won’t tolerate, if you take any unilateral decisions related to AP capital. I’ll stop the capital Amaravati and we ensure that it won’t happen,” said Pawan.

This is not all. Pawan further claimed that he would stage a strong protest with the support of farmers. Pawan said he would do a protest similar to that of Maharashtra’s farmer revolt. Pawan’s statement come as quite contrast given that the farmers of the capital region have voluntarily offered the lands to the capital development. Pawan claimed that Janasena along with the Communist parties would do the movement against the AP capital.

Recently, the farmers associations have lashed out at Pawan for his senseless and baseless comments. They have warned Pawan to know the facts before making any comments related to the farmers.

Meanwhile, many netizens are cracking jokes on Pawan’s fresh claim to do a protest. So far, not even once, Pawan kept his words on the protests and hence, doubts are raised over his fresh remarks as well. Pawan has been limited only to the statements and announcements, and have neither led nor participated in any public movement.

On the other hand, criticism has poured in on Pawan for building ultra luxurious bungalow near capital in 2 Acres. Many netizens are questioning Pawan how come he require 2 acres of land for his house and why not 33,000 acres of land for the state capital which would also accommodate the Secretariat, Assembly and other administrative buildings, infrastructure.

While Jagan’s personal comments against Pawan are seen as a major political blunder, now, Pawan’s comments on AP Capital City and an experienced, visionary CM like Chandrababu is seen as a Pawan’s Self-Goal.

Bharatiya Janata Party will not say no, if the Telugu Desam Party wants to re-join the National Democratic Alliance now or after the next general elections, according to party president Amit Shah.In an interview to Indian Express Group (which will be published on Sunday), Amit Shah said it was the TDP’s decision to walk out of the NDA and snap ties with the BJP.“There is not much to read in the TDP leaving the coalition. It was the TDP decision and BJP did not throw it out. If it wants to come back into the NDA fold, we welcome it,” he said.

He, however, clarified that the BJP will not go to the TDP to revive the alliance.

“It is for the TDP to decide what it wants,” he said.

Shah asserted that the exit of the TDP from the alliance would not make any difference to the BJP, as was evident from the defeat of the recent no-confidence motion against the NDA government.The BJP chief seems to be of the view that there is no point in pampering the TDP at present, as TDP president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been going aggressively in its attack on the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

If the BJP starts an attack on Naidu now, he will only convert it into his political advantage.

So, it will not make any attempt to antagonise Naidu for now, except to claim that the Centre was doing everything for the state. In any case, the BJP does not have much stakes in AP for now. After the next elections, the BJP feels the TDP would have no choice but to come back to the NDA anyway, if the latter comes back to power for a second term.

Political parties in Telangana have got an unsolicited gift from Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekha Rao in the form of land for their offices at a throwaway price.The Telangana cabinet which met eight hours on Friday evening took a decision to allot land not exceeding one acre to each recognised political party at the rate of Rs 100 per square yard, to construct their party offices.

It would mean each party can get an acre of land at a cost less than Rs 5 lakh. What is more, the cabinet decided that these party offices are to be exempted from property tax.“Since in a democratic society political parties are of very important, lands have to be allotted to them. In accordance with guidelines of earlier governments, land allotment to TRS party in 29 districts is being done for constructing party offices in district headquarters,” the cabinet note said.

It is pretty evident that the decision was taken primarily to benefit the TRS with land allotments in all the districts. The TRS has its party offices in Hyderabad and Warangal. So, it will get lands in the remaining 29 districts.Since the discretionary power of allotting lands has been vested with the government, it is highly unlikely for the opposition parties to get the land in the districts.

The Congress anyway has Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, while the CPI has Makhdoom Bhavan, CPM Makineni Basava Punnaiah Bhavan and the BJP Shyam Prasad Mukherjee Bhavan.Except for the Congress, the chances of other parties to take the land offers are unlikely.

In a disturbing incident, a youth had committed suicide in Madanapalle of Chittoor district demanding for the Special Category Status (SCS). 29-year-old Sudhakar who stayed with his family in Ramarao Nagar in Madanapalle took the extreme step after he was deeply upset with the Centre denying the Special Category Status to the successor state of Andhra Pradesh.

Cops who are probing the matter have found a suicide note form Sudhakar in which he had demanded the Centre to grant the Special Category Status to AP immediately.

The shocking act of youth has stunned his bereaved family. Sudhakar’s parents and family members are crying to the core. The local leaders and politicians have visited Sudhakar’s family and assured them of all support. The family members of Sudhakar are unable to cope up with his act and are in deep grief.
