Balakrishna Puts Akhil In A Spot!
Akhil Akkineni has wrapped up his upcoming film Mr. Majnu. The film is into post production stage and the first copy will be ready by mid November. However, the makers are yet to lock the release date for Mr. Majnu.Actual plan was to release Mr. Majnu during the Christmas weekend. But with so many films lined up for release at that time they thought of releasing it for Republic Day weekend.
Biopic of NTR releasing in two parts and the second volume aiming at Republic Day release disrupted Mr. Majnu’s plans again.Latest buzz from film circles suggest that the second part of Balakrishna-Krish’s film may get postponed to February as the makers feel that they need more than two weeks gap between the releases of two parts.
Mr. Majnu cannot fix a date until they get clarity over NTR – Maha Nayakudu.Akhil’s last film Hello suffered losses as they timed the release bad. So, Akhil wants to get it right this time.

In the first look poster, Ileana draped in a black jacket and skirt looks intense, yet elegant, sporting new and classic pouffe hairdo. Exotic and vibrant locations of USA can be seen in the background.Interim, Amar Akbar Antony teaser clocked 5 million views and the video is currently trending at third position in YouTube.
Billed to be a high octane action entertainer, Amar Akbar Antony is slated for release on November 16th.
Lagadapati To Contest in Telangana
Lagadapati Rajagopal is all set to return to politics. The former Vijayawada MP from Congress who had announced his political sanyas after the state division has now announced in Delhi that he would think of contesting polls from Telangana. However, Rajagopal maintained that he would not contest in the Assembly elections and he said he would consider contesting the Lok Sabha polls in Telangana. He also reasoned that he would not contest in Andhra Pradesh as he had promised earlier. He said he has been getting requests from Telangana people to contest from the state.
Stating that there is no truth in the several survey results that are being circulated online on his name, Lagadapati Rajagopal said that he would reveal his survey results only on December 7, 2018 in Telangana after the election gets over. Rajagopal stated that he however reveals the survey results only in private to political leaders if they asks him. He said he wouldn’t want to reveal the results publicly till Dec 7, the election date of Telangana. Meanwhile, the election result will be out on Dec 11, 2018.
Appreciating AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for uniting all the Opposition parties against Modi-led NDA, Rajagopal said Naidu as a seasoned politician is doing his best. Overall, Lagadapati’s political re-entry is certainly an interesting political development – especially his entry into Telangana politics. Though Rajagopal hasn’t confirmed from which party he would be in fray, most likely, he would be contesting on Congress ticket.
Not Just Telangana, AP Police Spread Across India: AP DGP
AP DGP RP Thakur responded to the notices from Election Commissioner Rajat Kumar demanding an explanation on AP intelligence teams getting caught while conducting surveys in Dharmapuri and Mancheeryala of Jagityala district in the context of Telangana elections.
AP DGP explained that AP Police scouting in Telangana state as a part of operations involving in abolishing anarchism and left-wing terrorism is not against the law. He asked to bring up any kind of evidence, if any, proving their misconduct and unlawful acts in the state of Telangana. AP DGP rubbished the allegations popped up about the constables distributing money and said that they themselves requested for the interference of local police when the locals troubled them.
The twist is that the DGP also claims to have police forces not just in Telangana state, but across the country in different divisions with Hyderabad as the center to protect VVIPs and their properties in AP and to eradicate terrorism and Naxalism.
T DGP Differs…
Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy differs with AP DGP’s version, as the former claims to have found that the said AP Intelligence teams in Dharmapuri have been surveying on odd of wins for candidates of Mahakutami. According to him, the surveying teams were not having any identity cards on them, neither any cash. Their phone numbers are said to be registered in the name of AP Additional DGP.
DGP Mahender Reddy stresses that the team has been conducting surveys on winning chances of Dharmapuri TDP candidate Jaadi Bal Reddy and Congress in-charge Lakshman Kumar if given tickets to contest.
On the other side, Election commission is looking into the complaint raised by TRS that Mahakutami candidates are trying to influence voters with money. The EC’s decision on said allegations and explanation is awaited.

Mythri Movie Makers that has delivered a hat-trick of blockbusters is hoping to keep their record intact with twin releases in November.Savyasachi and Amar Akbar Anthony films will test their caliber as they don’t have superstars at the forefront. Mythri is planning launch low budget films very soon.
They don’t want to restrict themselves to making big ticket movies all the time. One of the future projects of Mythri Movie Makers will launch legendary music director Keeravani’s sons in different roles.If the buzz is to be believed, Keeravani’s elder son Kaala Bhairava who has proved his worth as a singer will be making debut as music director with Mythri’s film.
Keeravani’s younger son Simha who assisted Sukumar for Rangasthalam will wield the megaphone for it.Buzz also has it that Kaala Bhairava will play one of the key roles in this concept based contemporary film.
We have to wait for the official confirmation from the makers to know whether the buzz is true or not.
Pooja Hegde Has No Role in USA?
The shoot of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Maharshi’ is underway in New York. The team will be wrapping up the New York schedule in the first week of November and will return to India. But sources say Pooja Hegde was not part of this shoot in New York.
Pooja Hegde usually updates pictures from the location of her films. She shared “Aravindha Sametha” working stills.She also posted pictures from Italy when she was shooting for Prabhas’s 20th film directed by Radhakrishna Kumar.
She shared one pic from Goa when she was shooting for “Maharshi” there. However, there is no still of her’s from New York as she was not called for this schedule.On the other hand, Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata has been updating Mahesh Babu’s stills from NY on Instagram.
Pooja Hegde who is playing Mahesh Babu’s love interest has no scenes in the US, say sources. Vamsi Paidipally is directing this film.Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music, while Dil Raju is producing it in association with Ashwini Dutt and PVP.
