Legendary director Subhash Ghai, known for films like Taal, is now facing the music. A TV serial actress, Kate Sharma, has now accused that he asked her to massage one day in front of his friends. As he happens to be launching her on the silver screen in his next film, the actress obliged to massage, but later he’s said to have started touching her private parts inappropriately.
In her complaint to police, Kate Sharma also alleged that Subhash Ghai threatened to cancel her launch if she refuses to stay with him for a night. Before Kate Sharma, another actress alleged that Ghai has allegedly spiked her drink and assaulted her sexually.
Responding on these allegations, the legendary director stated that he’s a huge supporter of #MeToo movement and regarding the police complaint he exuded confidence that his lawyers will take care.
Lyric Writer Unhappy With Tollywood Sexual Harassment Panel
Telugu Film Industry was earlier advised during Sri Reddy times that they will constitute a panel to take care of Casting Couch related issues. And now that #MeToo is taking the whole world by a storm, they have come up with PASH, the Panel Against Sexual Harassment.
While Film Chamber felt proud in setting up this panel with the likes of some known lady actors, directors and others being the members, here is a lyric writer who is pretty unhappy with it.
This particular lady lyric writer has earlier openly stated about a ‘lady’ who has forced her to go to a special party with a hero to Goa. The lyric writer revealed with pain that Casting Couch is something done not just by men, but there are also women who force other women and she herself is a victim. Guess what, the ‘lady’ who was hinted by this lyric writer is now a member of that PASH setup by Film Chamber.

Anchor Rashmi Gets Candid On Age And Weight

While saying that, Rashmi refused to go under the knife for getting weight reduction and also stated that fad diets are not her cup of tea. “Each one has a body type there is no set mould to fit in” she concludes.
Chiru Is No More A Congress Leader?
Has megastar Chiranjeevi ceased to be a member of the Congress party? The answer is yes, according to the party sources.
Chiranjeevi, who has been keeping away from the Congress party activities for quite some time and focussing only on his film at present, is learnt to have refused to renew his party membership, which has expired recently.
He politely turned down the request of the Andhra Pradesh Congress leaders to take the lead in the party activities by renewing his membership.
It would mean Chiranjeevi is no more a Congress party member.
However, it is not clear whether he has decided to quit politics altogether or take a plunge into his brother Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party at the time of election campaign for the coming assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
Already, all the Chiranjeevi fans have shifted their loyalties to Jana Sena Party lock, stock and barrel. While they continue to be fans of Chiranjeevi for his films, they are going to take active part in Jana Sena Party activities politically.
The megastar has been in a silent mode ever since the Congress party was wiped out completely in the 2014 elections.
He continue to remain a Congress MP till recently, though he hardly attended the Rajya Sabha sessions, but remained concentrated in films. At present, he is busy in shooting abroad for his multi-crore movie Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
Another reason for Chiranjeevi deciding to come out of the Congress party is its plans to join hands with the Telugu Desam Party, which he does not like. Instead, he is learnt to have thought it right to give backroom support to Pawan Kalyan.
The latest comment by former assembly speaker Nadendla Manohar that he had joined Jana Sena with the blessings of Chiranjeevi lent credence to the reports that the megastar is playing crucial role in building up Jana Sena, sources said.

Pawan To Support TRS In Telangana!
In a significant development, Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan is understood to have decided not to contest the elections in Telangana, but to support the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi in the upcoming assembly elections in the state.
Pawan is learnt to have made this announcement at a meeting with state-level party functionaries at Eluru.
He is still undecided as to whether his party should contest the elections or not. Several party leaders reportedly asked him what the stand of the Jana Sena Party would be in the Telangana, where the electioneering is gradually picking up.
He told the party leaders that it would be an exercise in futility if the Jana Sena Party contested elections in Telangana as the chances of winning are very bleak.
“Instead, it is better we support the TRS. I am very much impressed with the administration of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao,” he said.
Pawan felt that there was a feel good factor among the people in Telangana, as the TRS government had taken up several irrigation projects like Kaleshwaram and Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift irrigation scheme and was implementing several welfare schemes such as pensions, construction of double bedroom houses and programmes for SCs and STs.
“So, we have decided to support the TRS in the best interest of the Telangana state,” he said.
Interestingly, it was only three days ago Pawan told the media in Vijayawada that his party was contemplating contesting 23 or 24 assembly seats in Telangana.
The Jana Sena Party chief said he would discuss the issue with his party colleagues shortly and take a decision on how many seats his party would contest in Telangana and how to go about with the campaign.
Apparently, TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had a talk with Pawan and sought his support to the ruling party in the coming elections. In return, the TRS would protect all commercial interests of Pawan Kalyan in Hyderabad.
The TRS chief has already started making efforts to bring Jana Sena and YSR Congress party together to defeat the Telugu Desam Party in 2019 assembly elections.
