In a film that has 60 scenes, if heroine gets around 20 scenes, then she will be seen in 20 different costumes. If we include the five songs where she dons 4 costumes in each for sure, all in all, a heroine gets 35-40 costume changes in a movie. But what if their whole look is changed multiple times?

Here comes Mahanati, and we have to admire the fact that heroine Keerthi Suresh went patiently through all the creative requirement raked up by director Nag Ashwini. From hairstyle to makeup, costume to jewelry, all in all, Keerthi donned almost 110 looks in the movie to portray the look of legendary Savitri.

Already nearly twenty among those looks are revealed to the public as the posters and teasers of the film showcased them. Nag Ashwin feels that the biggest victory of these looks is that Keerthi Suresh has that uncanny resemblance to Savitri, and audiences will be sinking her looks into their hearts.

From making many biggies talk about the film to distributing ‘khaju’ sweets to celebs, Mahanati team is trying all possible ways to garner massive attention for this tomorrow’s release. Hope “Mahanati” starts on a bang at the box office.

The day has come and another star heroine is quitting her bachelor status quite officially. Yes, it is the wedding of dusky siren Sonam Kapoor with her longtime beau Anand Ahuja that is sprinkling Bollywood with charms now.

Other day Sonam turned up in an ivory-golden lehenga for the sangeet-Mehendi ceremony and it truly turned all the heads. Challenging all the myths, advisors and common beliefs, director Sukumar with a moral support from Megastar Chiranjeevi has decided to keep the length of the movie for nearly 3 hours. And as that film succeeded big time, the same strategy is followed by Bharat Anu Nenu and Naa Peru Surya well, whose runtimes are close to three hours. Welcome, Mahanati to the club now.

This May 9th release is going to tease the audiences with almost 176 minutes runtime. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the makers feel that such length is required to make sure that legendary actress Savitri’s life and times are clearly told. That said, it’s a crisp length to make sure that whole of Savitri’s best is fit into it. And we have to see how Mahanati performs after joining the 170+ length club.

For starters who want to exact runtimes of recent Telugu biggies, Rangasthalam is 179 minutes, Bharat Anu Nenu is 173 minutes and Naa Peru Surya is 168 minutes in length.

In an exclusive update, we have learnt that Ravi Teja is being paid a whopping amount for his 2-film deal with Mythri Movie Makers. Apparently, Ravi Teja had quoted 20 crore as his remuneration for Sreenu Vaitla’s and Kandireega Srinivas’ movies.

However, the makers at Mythri Movie Makers have sealed the deal for a huge 16 crores, which means that on an average, Ravi Teja will be paid 8 crores per film. This is undoubtedly the best deal for Ravi Teja, who had given a disaster with Touch Chesi Chudu.

Senior producer S Gopal Reddy’s Son Bhargav Reddy passed away under mysterious circumstances. This morning, Bhargav’s body has been found on the shore of the Vakada beach near Nellore. Cops are probing the matter.

S Gopal Reddy had produced numerous super hits in the 80s and 90s. Under his production house Bhargav Arts (named after his son) he had produced blockbusters like Mangamma Gari Manavadu, Muddula Mavayya and Muvva Gopaludu to name a few. S Gopal Reddy passed away in 2008.

Apparently, director Nag Ashwin says that he can’t imagine any other actor playing the role of legendary NTR other than Junior NTR. And for that reason, he opted for a digital creation of NTR when Junior declined his request to do so. Coming to ANR’s role, he got Naga Chaitanya onboard to play the part.
