Disha Patani who made her debut with Puri Jagannadh’s Loafer has made a splashing entry into Bollywood with MS Dhoni – The Untold Story.
The tall and lanky actress rocked the red gown at a recent event.Disha Patani doesn’t want to be typecast as a typical glam babe. She wants to do meaty roles rather being just a pretty girl.
“I take up anything that gives me kick,” Disha has set her priorities straight.
Nizamabad: TRS party supremo and caretaker CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has resumed his election campaign with organising Praja Ashirwada Sabha at Nizamabad.KCR termed his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N. Chandrababu Naidu a “thief, traitor and evil” and challenged TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy to prove his corruption charges “if he was born to a single father or mother or if he thinks he is a man.”
Addressing a massive public meeting in Nizamabad after nearly a month’s break, Mr Rao said he had restrained himself all these days to maintain the decorum of the CM’s post.He asked people to decide whether they want to become “ghulams” of Andhra and Delhi rulers again by voting for Congress-TD combine or want self rule and self pride given by TRS.Mr Rao said the Congress and the TJS of Prof. M. Kodandaram should feel ashamed for having tie-up with “Andhra party” TD and “Telangana drohi” Chandrababu who had destroyed Telangana during his rule.
“Chandrababu Naidu is a traitor of Telangana and killed hundreds of innocent Telangana youths in encounters,” Mr Rao said.Mr Naidu “created hurdles for power supply in Telangana and took away seven mandals”. While trying to destabilise the Telangana state government, Mr Naidu was caught in the cash for vote case, he said.“Can we allow Andhra rule once again in Telangana by voting for the Congress-TD alliance,” he asked.
Mr Rao also criticised senior Congress leaders S. Jaipal Reddy and K. Jana Reddy for their insincerity towards Telangana.“We achieved 19.83 per cent growth in the last four years with utmost discipline and corruption-free governance. The facts are in front of people and they should give a fitting lesson to the Mahakutami elections and vote for the TRS for a stable government,” he said.
“I dissolved the Assembly to seek fresh mandate of people as opposition parties are constantly trying to create hurdles for development in newly-formed state,” he said.Mr Rao criticised that Congress leaders for “bowing to Chandrababu to get Rs 500 crore and three helicopters” for election campaign.He asked the people whether they would mortgage the pride of Telangana to the “Andhra leaders” once again with the Congress-Telugu Desam combine.
Mr Rao cautioned the people to be vigilant over the Congress-TD alliance and vote for the TRS for a stable government.The Congress and TD leaders were “ghulams” (slaves) to Delhi and Amaravati and were trying to stall the rapid progress in Telangana state, he said.
Director Krish who was worried if his name would be retained or not for the Bollywood period flick “Manikarnika” is now relieved to see that the credits have his name.At one time, there were reports that the film’s leading actress Kangana Ranaut was reshooting some of the portions that Krish had directed before.She even removed his name from clapboard as director for the reshoot scenes. Although she gave clarification at the time that Krish’s name will not be removed as director, he was not sure of her promise as she is known to have a temperamental attitude.
In the recently released trailer, Krish’s name as director has been retained. Kangana didn’t take credit for direction as some feared.Now, Krish will have two releases – NTR’s Biopic and “Manikarnika” — in coming January 2019 as director.However, while Krish got the project on the insistence of writer Vijayendra Prasad, it surely is a glitch in his professionalism that he chose to move on to NTR’s biopic before finishing off Manikarnika or at least for not handling both films at the same time.
The producer of the film, on his part, supported Kangana, both against Krish and Sonu Sood, who showed his unprofessional behaviour when he changed his look mid-way.Well, one surely cannot make a Baahubali every day, as it is not possible to have the actors or technicians tied down for years like Rajamouli could do!
NTR biopic of the most anticipated film arriving early next year. The makers of the film are doing the right thing by unveiling key posters which have important characters as part of the narrative.Once again, they have come up a brand new poster which contains yet another different avatar of Nandamuri Balakrishna who is essaying the title role.
In this picture, Balakrishna is seen in ‘Bandipotu’ (Bandit) and poster also another title, ‘Kathanayakudu’ which means protagonist.We can also see a cameraman trying to capture the scene with an old-school camera.NTR will be remembered forever in Telugu cinema and he really defined the word protagonist by doing versatile roles all through his career which fetched millions of fan base.
Krish Jagarlamudi is directing ‘NTR’ and his hard work is evident just in the poster. He really owned the film and still putting all the efforts in making it a celluloid.The poster also reveals the release date of NTR’s ‘Kathanayakudu’ on January 9th.

Another day another blunder by film star turned politician Pawan Kalyan. The Janasena President who has been vehemently taking on the Chandrababu-led ruling TDP and its top leaders, has made yet another faux pas on AP Panchayati Raj Minister Nara Lokesh.
Pawan made a futile attempt to criticise Nara Lokesh at a public meeting after his visit to the Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple. “My vehicle took 40 minutes to reach the temple from Jangareddygudem and there was no traffic at that time. That’s how bad the roads are in the state. Then where are your roads?,” Pawan questioned Lokesh.
Pawan’s latest statements once again prove his lacklustre understanding of political and logistical affairs. Usually, only Panchayati roads come under the Panchayati Raj ministry and Jangareddygudem’s roads come under the R&B Ministry. It looks like even Janasena’s local leaders failed to brief him before Pawan unveiled his failed attack.
Needless to ask, Pawan’s detractors in the TDP have been having a ball ever since he made the historic blunder by questioning a Panchayati Raj minister when the roads come under the R&B Ministry. Netizens are mocking Pawan and are advising him to first know the difference between both the ministries before he targets them and specifically mention the concerned ministers names instead of channeling all his tirades against Lokesh.
