NTR’s Target Achieved? Trainer Left Hyderabad
NTR has gone dapper last night at Mahanati event and many are wondering how he will look for his next with Rajamouli. Though there were rumors that NTR is busy chiseling his body for Trivikram’s film, it is actually for the multi-starrer with Ram Charan in Rajamouli’s direction.
NTR’s Zimbabwean fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens is wrapping up from Hyderabad and showered lots of praises on the star. Llyod even revealed that the duo achieved their expectations because of Tarak’s un-relentless work ethic.
Rumors had it that NTR has lost more than 15 kilos during this training. Is that the ‘expectation’ Stevens talking about or a surprise under wraps like six or eight pack? Lloyd is not ready to reveal that now but is waiting like us all for NTR’s new look to be revealed.
Koratala Back In Mega Camp!
One of those superstar directors of Telugu cinema is none other than Koratala Siva and he has scored four back to back blockbusters. All these films have one unique thing, the social message, that always worked big time.
After coming up with projects like Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janata Garage and Bharat Anu Nenu, here is Koratala coming up with another interesting film. And this time he wants to keep social messages away from his movie as he wants to do full masala entertainer.
As per the reports coming up, Koratala has narrated the script to Allu Arjun recently and he’s pretty much excited about it. In case if this project talk happens, that will be the second time for Koratala to step into Mega camp. Earlier he travelled with Ram Charan for a while and their film got cancelled after the announcement. Then he moved to Mahesh Babu’s film Srimanthudu back then. And we have to see what will happen now.
For the now, Bharat Anu Nenu is doing well at box office and it is heard that Koratala Siva might indulge in one more round of promotions though Mahesh left to Paris for a holiday.
Meet Savitri’s Real Family
Not many are aware about veteran actress Savitri’s descendants. But thanks to the grand gala audio launch of Mahanati, a biopic of legendary Savitri, her entire family was present on the dais. Savitri and Gemini Ganesan’s son Satish Kumaar, their daughter Vijaya Chamundeswari, Vijaya’s husband Govinda Rao and her elder son Arun, Arun’s wife Neethu, Arun’s son Rithwik, Vijaya’s younger son Abhinay, Abhinay’s wife Aparna and their cute toddler Swastika have all graced the do and lighten up the stage.
Satish Kumaar has shared the interesting anecdote of how he had first met director Nag Ashwin for a narration for just a couple of hours which eventually extended to two days. Satish said Nag is going to explore the unexplored life of Savitri. Satish said he had initially apprehensions when he had first heard about biopic of his mother Savitri. He said he had thought this biopic would be yet another tragic story, however, he said Nag Ashwin spell-bounded him with his narration, attention for detail. Satish said he is eagerly waiting for the film’s release. Savitri’s daughter Vijaya was also too excited to see the story of her mother Savitri. While VIjaya said she often used to meet Jamuna garu, ShoSowcar Janaki (Shavukaru Janaki) and ANR, Satish recalled his childhood memory of meeting legendary NTR on the sets. Satish said he is a great fan of NTR, ANR. Satish said he got emotional while Nag Ashwin narrated him the entire story. He said his mother would love to talk to all the artistes of the film had she lived today. He said his mother would share a lot of details with all the cast, if she was alive today.
While Dulquer is essaying the role of Gemini Ganesan, Keerthy Suresh plays the titular role Mahanati. Samantha, Vijay Deverakonda are seen as Madhuravani, a journalist, and a photographer respectively. The film is all set for release on May 9 in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
KCR’s Master Strategy on Federal Front?
KCR’s whirlwind trips and meets with various chief ministers, party heads to muster support for a non-Congress and non-BJP front, Third Front or Federal Front, has a lot more to it than what it originally appears to be – KCR’s revenge against betenoire Modi.
If inside sources are to be believed, KCR has devised a master strategy behind his plans to form a Federal Front. KCR is said to be in hurry to elevate his son KTR and for this transition, KCR wants himself to push to national politics. Although KTR is being received well in Hyderabad among educated, youth and IT crowd – thanks to his active presence on social media, the reality in rural regions of Telangana seems to be totally different. It is learnt that KTR still needs to make inroads into rural regions and yet to attract the tier-2 towns, tier-3 villages of the state.
Not just people, but even many within the TRS are said to be not fully convinced with the plans of handing over the sate’s reigns to KTR. Smart KCR is fully aware of the situation. He knows that the transition wouldn’t be easy if he is still in state politics. Unless he moves to national politics claiming he would get all necessary benefits to Telangana, KCR can’t make way for KTR in the state politics.
At the same time, senior leader and KCR’s nephew Harish Rao has good foothold on party and in rural parts of Telangana. There is no denying that Harish Rao could get at least support of 20 sitting MLAs on his side. It is no small matter. Though Harish has openly said he would support any decision of KCR and would follow KCR’s instructions, the fact is Harish doesn’t have good relation with KTR and vice-versa. Certainly, there is a gap between KTR and Harish Rao. Predicting that it would harm the party in long run, especially in his absence, KCR seems to be pulling out all stops to make KTR as the next CM.
KTR is also said to be working on the direction. By attracting youths, he has been maintaining good rapport with Tollywood stars and also quite active on social media. At the same time, he is also focusing on rural parts to penetrate into it. But it may take some more time for KTR to get hold on rural regions. Probably, this is why KCR is swiftly making his moves. In fact, this was rumoured to be the strategy behind assigning him the Panchayat Raj portfolio. Yet, it is easier said than done.
While KCR is busy meeting regional party leaders and seeking their support for a new political force, speculations are rife whether KCR is really serious about non-BJP and non-Congress front or is he just doing it to make way for KTR as CM. TRS party’s inside buzz also indicate KCR’s motive behind the Federal Front.
Who is this Dev, political strategist for PK?
Power star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday came up with a surprise by declaring one “Dev” as his chief political strategist, on the lines of popular strategist Prashant Kishor, who has been working for YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh for over a year.
Pawan introduced Dev to the party functionaries at a meeting held at the party office. He said Dev had been working with the party for the last 10 months and would be on election plans and the institutional policy designing.
Dev claimed that he had the experience of travelling with various national and international political parties.
“I have been in this field for a decade. Pawan Kalyan garu is a leader with great political perspective. He is not a seasoned politician who exposes his face only during elections. He has a clear understanding of public issues and is completely aware of various social topics,” he explained.
He said the Jana Sena would come to power if party ideologies were combined with a structured political strategy.
“This has to be planned from booth level. My team needs your support. I will keep taking the thoughts and ideologies of Pawan Kalyan into public and keep sharing my election strategies with you,” he said.
Nobody has ever heard about Dev so far and his full name is also not known to anybody. The media persons have been scratching their brains since they received the press note from his party office!

Samantha Did The Film Only For That Tearful Scene
“By signing this Mahanati, I’ve taken a big risk. I’m not the main character of the film” says Samantha, as she breaks into those everlasting smiles and quirky expressions that melt hearts of everyone.
Like we all know, Samantha is playing the role of journalist Madhuravani in this movie and the life of Savitri will be narrated through her eyes. Feeling happy for immortalising Savitri on the silver screen, she says, “I’m not the main character of the film, but I’m proud that I’m part of a story that must be told”.
Adding more, she heaped praises on Savitri, “I’m proud that I’m in the same profession that of Savitri garu. She’s is the benchmark for years and years to come”. Also, Samantha stated that her co-stars are all too good, saying, Keerthi is great, Rockstar Vijay Deverakonda is lively and Dulquer is phenomenal.
That one tearful scene…
“I’ve dubbed as well for the movie because there is one scene in the film which happens to be the greatest ode to the greatest heroine ever. I did 7-8 takes but never used glycerine and tears just came all along naturally. Never in my life, I felt like that about any particular scene, but this one just bowled me out emotionally. I’m thankful to producers and director” said Samantha, explaining what made her sign this movie.

How Can Naga Chaitanya Play My Father? – Nag
“When I’m there, how can Naga Chaitanya play my father in the film Mahanati?” asks Nagarjuna, at the audio launch of the film. So why didn’t he play and why his son took the job? Here is his answer.
King Nagarjuna is quite elated to be part of Mahanati audio launch as he feels that his family is very much emotionally connected to the legendary actress Savitri. He stated that he is missing his father on the occasion. “ANR, NTR and Savitri are the three pillars and the names that are permanently etched in the history of Telugu cinema,” said Nag, adding that Savitri garu introduced him to Telugu silver screen when he is eight months old in Veluguneedalu movie.
At the same time, Nag stressed, “I’m too old to play the part as my dad in this film. So I’m happy that Naga Chaitanya played the role. With both my son and kodalu becoming part of this film, I feel that somewhere we are connected to the life of Savitri”.
He expressed quite a confidence in the film by saying, “Going by the trailers, I’ve got a very good feeling. And when I get such a feeling at functions, those films never failed. Mahanati team has a winner”.

In the wake of recent comments from certain media houses that women are being looked down in Telugu Film Industry, Nagarjuna responded in style at the event.
“I’m proud of Telugu film industry that a biopic is being made on lady superstar Savitri garu. And this film is being produced by two ladies, Swapna and Priyanka Dutt. And I heard that there 20 lady technicians working for this movie, while this audio launch stage is also built by women only. That is the respect we give to women in Telugu film industry. Times are changing, things are changing and we’re too” said Nagarjuna, pushing the crowds into utmost cheers, claps and whistles.
So, Nagarjuna has joined the likes of Allu Arvind, Ram Charan and others who have defended Tollywood big time in the recent days.
#NTRDistrict: Kapus Fresh Demand Turns Headache for Jagan!
Opposition leader YS Jagan has stirred up a hornet’s nest. By announcing to name Krishna district after NTR, Jagan seems to have courted a self goal. While a section have welcomed Jagan’s move initially, many are raising their concerns over changing the district’s name to NTR’s district since the district is named after river Krishna that is very auspicious, close to hearts of many.
Even as the debate continues and people seems to have divided, here comes another interesting and rightful demand from the followers of another leader. The followers of Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga have been demanding Jagan to name Krishna district after Vangaveeti Ranga. Since Ranga’s son Vangaveeti Radha is also member of YSR Congress Party, this demand from Vangaveeti Ranga’s fans are expected to put Jagan in trouble. He could neither accept their demand nor he could turn it down since the scion of Ranga himself is in his own party.
In addition to this, Kapu community in Krishna district has been mounting pressure on Jagan & co after his announcement. Jagan can’t even go back on his word now since he has already made a public statement during his Padayatra in Krishna district. Apparently, many Kapu Leaders in the YCP expressed anger over Jagan’s announcement of renaming of the Krishna district without consulting them. They also stayed away from participating his Pada yatra which was going on in the same district.
Looks like, Jagan seems to have invited an unwanted controversy. In order to pacify the Kapu community leaders, Jagan is said to be holding talks and trying to convince them by saying he will also consider their demand when he comes to power. Jagan reportedly assured Kapu leaders that he would divide Krishna district into two and name one of them after NTR and the other after Ranga.
The moot question is will the people of Krishna district such act of Jagan to politicize the district with the names and divide the district almost on community lines.
HBO Uses Bunny And Bunny Uses HBO!!
Well, generally promotions on a Top TV channel means, either they air teasers or the actors talk about their films. But it looks like Stylish Star Allu Arjun has struck a deal that benefits both the sides. Here is what they are saying about it.
Apparently today morning we saw the first ever promo of Allu Arjun rocking on HBO with his new ad. And firstly the promo talks about HBO, with Bunny saying that there is only one place for action, horror, comedy, and asking the viewers to watch Hollywood Premier League, where HBO airs all these different genre movies every night at 11 pm.
And the second half of the promo is where Bunny talks about his film, calling himself as the only stylish actor and asking viewers to watch his action packed film “Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India” from May 4th. Definitely, this sort of promotion on a nationwide English channel will add more publicity to the film in all the markets with Bunny having his footmarks in Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil as well.
The reason behind such terrific promotion at the moment is, NPS is going to have a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam for the now, while Hindi release date will be within next two weeks. Let’s see how much this HBO ad will help him.
Welcome To KTR-Ivanka Trump Road, Hyderabad
You might have heard about MG Road in many cities of India or the famous “Kings Road” in Game Of Thrones TV series, but here comes a shocking name for a road that is built by some youths.
Last year in November, when USA President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka came to Hyderabad to attend #GES2017 summit, actually Telangana government did some extraordinary decorations to the society. However, residents of Marredpally feel that as Ivanka hasn’t passed through their colony they are being neglected by the government.
A group of residents of the colony took matters into their hand and laid a road for themselves and named it as “KTR Ivanka Trump” road. If you could remember this is the same group of people who have staged a protest during GES 2017, with placards that read, “Ivanka, visit our colony please”, who have now repaired the dilapidated road and named it that way.
Though the news is doing hulchul on Twitter from last two days, tech savvy government and politicians are staying mum about it.
Sonam Kapoor’s Wedding on May 8th!
Putting an end to rumors and unwanted speculations, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja families announced the wedding officially and the date is May 8th, just in a week from now and it is going to be an intimate affair!
Sonam and Anand have been seeing each other since some time and there were lot of speculations about their wedding.

Though Sonam and Anand kept mum about the special date, fans already expected something after looking at Anil Kapoor’s house decorated and celebrities like Karan Johar visiting the Kapoor house for Sangeet dance practices and all.
It is reported that Sonam and Ahuja’s similar taste in fashion made them together and they never really shied away from publicly displaying affection towards each-other.
