KTR’s Wife An ST, Kavitha Has No Children!
As the elections to the Telangana assembly are fast approaching, the opposition parties, particularly the Congress party, started sharpening their weapons to attack ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi headed by caretaker chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Notwithstanding the loud cries of KCR’s son K T Rama Rao that the opposition parties have been attacking even his family members, the Congress leaders are going aggressive in exposing the irregularities allegedly committed by the chief minister’s family.
Pradesh Congress Committee working president and former Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy is going all out against KCR family.At a public meeting at Kodangal the other day, Revanth alleged that KTR’s father-in-law Pakala Harinath Rao had obtained fake Scheduled Tribes certificate to obtain a government job in the forest department several years ago.
“He retired as a forest officer a few years ago and has been getting pension as an ST even now. And our chief minister talks of providing 12 per cent reservations to scheduled tribes. Will he take action against Harinath Rao for cheating the government? Will he clarify whether KTR’s wife Shailima is an Adivasi or Lambada?” he asked.
Revanth also questioned the propriety of KCR projecting his grandson as future boss of the TRS.
“In what capacity KTR’s son Himanshu was sent to Bhadrachalam temple to present new clothes on behalf of the state government? How was he allowed into the chief minister’s chamber in the state secretariat along with his friends? What is his position in the party and the government to attend the official programmes along with KCR?” Revanth asked.
Meanwhile, the Congress leaders have also circulated an election affidavit submitted by KCR’s daughter and Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In the affidavit, Kavitha declared that she had no children and hence, there were no assets on the names of her children.
But the fact is that Kavitha has two sons, which is known to everybody. The Congress leaders are now making it an issue to nail Kavitha for giving a false declaration before the EC.
Why Different Rules For Pawan, Sri Reddy?
When Tollywood actress Sri Reddy made explosive revelations about the prevalence of casting couch in Telugu film industry and went to the extent of stripping herself in front the film chambers office in April last, power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan gave an advice to her: “Instead of resorting to protests on streets, she should have given a police complaint and taken the case to courts. The government will take necessary action,” he said.
This unsolicited advice from Pawan kicked up a lot of controversy with Sri Reddy abusing filthy language against him and calling him M.. on the lines of a Vijaya Devarakonda’s dialogue in Arjun Reddy. She even showed her middle finger and questioned Pawan’s polygamy.
Pawan’s advice and Sri Reddy’s reaction turned around the political scenario in Andhra Pradesh, as power star accused the TDP leadership and the media supporting it of masterminding the attack on her. He even served legal notices on the media houses.
Now, Pawan’s detractors got the chance to launch a counter-attack on him.
When Pawan made an open complaint that he was facing a threat to his life and that he had learnt from reliable sources that some people were trying to kill him, he got the same advice from his critic Kathi Mahesh.
“Why are you making public statements about threat to your life? You should have given a complaint to the police, if you have any suspicion against anybody. Why are you trying to blame the government and the police?
“When Sri Reddy talked about the injustice meted out to her, you asked her to lodge a complaint with the police. Why can’t you do the same now, instead of cribbing in public?” Kathi Mahesh asked.
Nani on hosting Bigg Boss: It introduced me to the real world
Actor Nani, who made his television debut as the host of the second season of Telugu version of “Bigg Boss”, said the experience of being associated with the popular reality show introduced him to the real world.
The show ended on Sunday as Kaushal Manda, one of the most popular contestants, emerged as the winner and took home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh.
“‘Bigg Boss’ changed my view of the world. Before I joined the show as its host, I was living in a bubble. I believed the real world is a happy place. ‘Bigg Boss’ made me realise that the world is made of all kinds of people, including some judgmental ones. It has introduced me to the real world,” Nani told IANS.
As much as he enjoyed his association with the show, his stint earned him his share of bouquets and brickbats, especially from the supporters of Kaushal, known as Kaushal Army on social media.
“I’ve never dealt with so many hate messages in my life. This show made me realize you can’t please everyone in this world. There will always be some people who won’t like you and there’s nothing one can do about it,” he said, adding that working on “Bigg Boss” took up more of his time than anticipated.
“The last three months have been the most stressful phase of my career. Even when I was doing three films a year, I would somehow find two weeks to spend time with my family apart from the regular weekend breaks. But ‘Bigg Boss’ took up more time than I had expected. On top of it, I also had to shoot for ‘Devadas’. It’s finally time to go on a much-needed holiday,” he said.
In “Devadas”, which hit the screens last week, Nani shared the screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna for the first time.
“The initial idea of ‘Devadas’ came from Bollywood writer Sridhar Raghavan. When Nag sir and I heard the idea, we felt it needed tweaking to suit local sensibilities.”
“We wanted the film to be neither too commercial nor too realistic,” said Nani, adding that director Sriram Adittya was roped in and handed over the responsibility of developing Sridhar’s idea into a full-fledged script. “That’s how ‘Devadas’ got rolling.”
On the experience of working with Nagarjuna, someone Nani grew up idolizing, he said: “It felt so surreal to stand next to him and act.”
“I grew up watching his movies. There have been instances where he would step out of a caravan and walk towards me and all I could think of was standing in a long queue to watch the first day show of his ‘Ninne Pelladata’. This memory kept flashing in my mind,” he said.
Nani didn’t have any qualms of doing a multi-starrer at a stage when his career is going great with a few successive blockbusters to its credit.
“I don’t consider myself an image-driven actor. I believe audiences come to watch my films because they are entertaining and not because of my image. Having grown up idolizing Nagarjuna sir, I couldn’t refuse an offer to work with him. I’m glad he had no qualms to work with me.”
Nani will be next seen playing a cricketer in Telugu sports drama “Jersey”, a story about a late bloomer which unfolds between 1986 and 1996. The film will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
“It will be one of the most prestigious projects of my career. I play a batsman and I’ve been training really hard for three and a half hours daily. We start shooting from Dussehra,” he said.
Shocking details about MLA’s Murder
The brutal killings of Araku MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao and ex MLA Siveri Soma by Maoists has shocked one and all. However, the police investigation is bringing out more shocking details. Allegedly, a TDP local leader and MPTC has played crucial role behind the killings of MLA and ex MLA. According to police, prima facie seem that the local TDP leader had helped the Maoists in executing their plan. Maoists reportedly used the local leader as pawn in their game.
Police investigation revealed that the local TDP MPTC had given shelter to Maoists for thrice in the operation. Maoists had reportedly held secret meetings with the TDP MPTC and explained him their plan much in advance. Also, later the MPTC said to had arranged meeting between some TDP local workers and Maoists on 5th September regarding the MLA’s murder. Based upon the plan and the information from the MPTC about the whereabouts and the work schedule of MLA Kidari and ex MLA Siveri Soma, Maoists said to have executed their plan.
According to cops, the MPTC had earlier invited Kidari Sarweswara Rao for Grama Darshini program at his village on 19th September itself at the behest of Moaists. However, in the last minute, the MLA informed he couldn’t come as his wife is ill. He had later promised the MPTC to come on 23rd September. And the MPTC had informed this to the Maoists who conducted recce two days prior to the murder.
On the fateful day, Maoists have spotted MLA’s vehicles and stopped them. At the gun point, they asked the MLA and the ex MLA to come out of cars for a discussion. They had killed the ex MLA Siveri Soma first. Despite repeated requests by MLA Kidari Sarveswara Rao, Maoists didn’t pay his heed and shot him dead.
Meanwhile, another group of Maoists had blocked the way of the commoners during the incident. They made sure, no one would take this way by stopping the commoners in much advance. On the whole, it was a master plan by Aruna Group of Maoists to kill Kidari and Siveri. Police said to have found strong evidences against a TDP MPTC and likely to take him to custody to get more details.
Attack on Police
What is quite shocking is that a local weed smuggler had provoked the locals to attack cops over the murder of MLA and ex MLA. The smuggler had provoked locals that cops failed to protect our leader Kidari Sarveswara Rao. Locals who got carried away have attacked the police station and damaged it. The angry locals had beaten police constables and other police personnel on the fateful day.
Police who took the suspected locals into custody learnt shocking facts that the smuggler was behind the attack. Apparently, the smuggler is angry on local police that they are repeatedly lodging cases against him over the smuggling. Police are also going to arrest the smuggler for provoking violence and disrupting peace, harmony in the aftermath of MLA and ex MLA’s murder.

Crazy hero Vijay Deverakonda said he basically don’t remember the fact that there are two Telugu states and to his generation, the two Telugu states are one.
Vijay said the above statement at the ‘NOTA’ public meet held in Vijayawada. “Congratulations people of Andhra Pradesh on the new capital, Amaravati. I heard a lot of developmental activities are going on in this new region and it’s good to hear,” said Vijay and added that he last came to Vijayawada about three years back.

Nani’s Movies Not Crossing Big Mark!
Has Nani’s market in USA become stagnant? It is not growing further. He is one of the few Tollywood stars who has great fan following in USA market and his movies regularly hit $1 million mark.
However, Nani’s movies have stopped giving profits to overseas distributors as they are barely performing beyond one million dollars. Thus the distributors are seeing either no profits or bare minimum amount on their investment.
Despite teaming up with Nagarjuna for ‘Devadas’, Nani has failed to bring in big openings. By end of the four-day weekend with premiere shows, the film has collected just more than 600k dollars which is too low for a multi-starrer movie. Nagarjuna too has big market in USA.

2 students burnt alive over same girl in Telangana
Hyderabad: In a gruesome incident, two Class 10 students were burnt alive in an alleged clash over an affair with the same girl in Telangana’s Jagtiyal town, police said on Monday.The police suspect that both the students, aged 16, set each other ablaze on Sunday night after consuming liquor. The incident occurred in the town about 190 km from here.
K. Mahender died on the spot while Ravi Teja, who sustained critical injuries succumbed in a hospital.The claim by the families of the boys that a third boy was also present at the scene has added a new twist to the case. The police were trying to verify this version.
The investigators found beer bottles and mobile phones at the scene.Mahender and Ravi were classmates at a missionary school. Both were allegedly in love with the same girl, a student of the same school, the police said.The investigators were analysing mobile phone data of the deceased. They allegedly poured petrol before setting each other on fire.
The police were still trying to ascertain if it was a murder or suicide.
Maharshi: All Set for Long US Schedule
All hurdles are cleared for Mahesh Babu’s shoot abroad. The shoot of Mahesh Babu’s “Maharshi” will begin in the US later this weekend as the team is heading to New York shortly.Mahesh Babu and director Vamshi Paidipally had planned to commence the shoot last month, but the team couldn’t get visas for the jumbo unit.
The US authorities are thinking twice before granting visas for large units of Telugu movies, in the wake of recent controversies.Finally, the team has managed to get a two-month visa to shoot the movie in New York, Jersey and other cities.
Mahesh Babu is playing the role of a bright Indian student who moves to the US and becomes a big entrepreneur there.Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh are playing his friends in the movie. Geetha Madhuri Gets More Than Kaushal!
Kaushal won the title of ‘Bigg Boss 2’ and he will take home the prize money. However, it is singer Geeta Madhuri who will take home big money, though she was a runner up.Geetha Madhuri had agreed to do this show only if she is given second highest remuneration per day after Tejaswi Madivada. The channel had agreed to this.
Tejaswi Madivada was evicted from the show midway. On the other hand, Geetha Madhuri stayed in the home all through the show and came out a as runner up.For 112 days she remained in the house. So, she will be getting higher remuneration than the winner Kaushal.
Kaushal will get additional prize money, but Geetha Madhuri’s remuneration per day is almost double than Kaushal’s.Hence, Geetha Madhuri will be gaining hugely from “Bigg Boss 2”.
Pawan Performs ‘secret’ Pujas Again?
Power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan is learnt to have performed “secret” pujas at Narasimha Swamy temple at Jagannathapuram of Dwaraka Tirumala mandal in West Godavari district in the early hours of Monday.According to reliable sources, Pawan performed special pujas and abhisekhams at the temple from 3 am to 4.30 am.
However, it is not exactly known what kind of pujas he had done at such an early hour and whether there was any special significance to these pujas.But, sources said, it was at the same temple, where Pawan Kalyan had performed “special pujas” at the time of release of his film Jalsa a decade ago.
Pawan was running through a bad patch in his career at that time and Jalsa became a big hit later, taking Pawan’s career to the next level.Interestingly, noted film critic Kathi Mahesh, who has been running a campaign against Pawan Kalyan, alleged in January this year that the power star had performed “tantric” pujas at the Narasimha Swamy temple 10 years ago to ward off “evil forces.”
He even alleged that Pawan’s girlfriend and actress Poonam Kaur also attended these “tantric pujas,” apart from his close friend and director Trivikram Srinivas.Kathi even named the priest – Pandit Narasimham, who had allegedly performed these tantric pujas for Pawan and Poonam Kaur.
He said such pujas were performed at least two or three times. He challenged them to prove him wrong, but there was no denial either from Pawan or Poonam.Now with Pawan performing early morning prayers at the same temple, one might believe that there could be some truth in Kathi Mahesh’s allegations made in the past!
