One Hit Song Can’t Save A Film
Gone are the days where a couple of hits songs are enough to save a film from going disaster at box office. If the audio turns blockbuster, then it is expected that the film will run well as audiences would come to theatres maybe only to watch songs at least.
But those days are long gone as people are not showing interesting only if songs score a brownie. From Dhanush’s ‘3’ to Nani’s Krishnarjuna Yuddham, the intent of cinema lovers is pretty clear when it comes to songs and the film result. “Kolaveri Di” became such a stupendous hit that people from all around the world did cover songs of it. But the result of the film is quite known, it bit a huge dust at the box office.
And now, we have “Daari Choodu” song from Nani’s latest movie Krishnarjuna Yuddham which became a rage among youths. All over the YouTube, there are many tribute songs and cover versions of it with girls and boys doing a different style of dances for it. But still, all that craze didn’t help the film get huge reception at the box office. Routine content crafted by Nani and Co cast an average result.
So for films to become hits, along with songs, there should be huge content value too. Also sometimes films with bad songs and good content will click big time at the box office but not vice-versa.
Pawan Gets Timely Support From Cult Fans
For the last few days, film star and Janasena party president Pawan Kalyan has been having a really tough time. Controversial actress Sri Reddy and several women’s rights activists ganged up and lambasted Pawan Kalyan. Sri Reddy went a step further and abused Pawan Kalyan using unparliamentary language.
Meanwhile, self proclaimed critic Mahesh Kathi, who has been attacking Pawan Kalyan for the last few months, also launched a veiled attack on the Janasena chief. While Pawan has been maintaining a dignified silence, his diehard fans who are totally upset with all the unjust treatment to Pawan Kalyan, have been giving fitting counters to Sri Reddy, Mahesh Kathi and others.
Till date, not a single film industry celebrity raised his or her voice in support of Pawan Kalyan. Finally, Pawan’s cult fans from the industry – his nephews Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej and Nithiin took to Twitter and posted a few cryptic tweets targeting Sri Reddy and Mahesh Kathi. The three young stars requested the agitating fans to be not bothered about hypocrites and judgemental people.
Needless to say, the timely support from Nithiin and both the young Mega heroes had received immense praise from Pawan’s fans. However, it remains to be seen whether Pawan will manage to come out of this mess anytime soon.

Pawan Fans Registered Cases On Sri Reddy
What started as something like a serious debate on Casting Couch issue has now turned into accusing and abusing Pawan Kalyan rather fighting for the issues. Actress Sri Reddy started talking about theatre issues and giving free pensions to those who acted in 1-2 films rather sticking to the issue. And then, she slipped tongue quite intentionally to abuse Pawan with cuss words. Does that go well with fans?
All these days with some media biggies backing these people like Sri Reddy, even police didn’t register cases. That’s what junior artist Sunitha told in the case of Mahesh Kathi when she went to police station to lodge a case. But now, abusing Pawan didn’t go well and fans started coming forward to lodge cases on the sleazy actress who is defaming Tollywood in her own style from a time.
Today many cases are lodged and some of them include cases lodged at Punjagutta Police Station and also in Warangal. Against Modi : BJP Sr Leader’s Open Letter To BJP MPs
Anti-Modi wave is riding across the nation. Especially in South, people are fuming over Modi’s policies, taxation system (GST) and steep hike in the prices of daily needs. Amidst this, BJP’s senior leader, former Union Finance Minister and former Union Foreign Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government , Yashwant Sinha, has written an open letter to fellow BJP MPs against Narendra Modi. Yashwant has blasted Modi in ‘Dear friend, speak up’ column.

Dear friend, speak up
We all worked very hard for the victory of the party in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. Some of us had been struggling against the rule of the UPA government, in Parliament and outside, ever since it assumed office in 2004 while some others were enjoying the fruits of office in their respective states. We were delighted with the results of the 2014 elections and expected that the unprecedented victory would mark the beginning of a new and glorious chapter in our country’s history. We backed the prime minister and his team to the hilt, and in full faith. The government has now completed nearly four years in office, presented five budgets and used up all the opportunity available to it to show results. At the end of it, however, we seem to have lost our way and the confidence of the voters.
The economic situation is grim, despite tall claims to the contrary by the government that we are the world’s fastest growing economy. A fast growing economy does not accumulate the kind of non-performing assets in its banks, as we have done over the last four years. In a fast growing economy the farmers are not in distress, the youth are not without jobs, small businesses do not stand destroyed and savings and investment do not fall as drastically as they have done over the last four years. What is worse, corruption has raised its ugly head again and banking scams are tumbling out of the closet one after another. The scamsters also manage to run away from the country somehow, as the government watches helplessly.
Women are more unsafe today than ever before. Rapes have become the order of the day and instead of acting strictly against the rapists we have become their apologists. In many cases, our own people are involved in these heinous crimes. The minorities are alienated. The worst is that the Scheduled Castes and Tribes, the weaker sections of our society, have been exposed to atrocities and inequities as never before and the guarantees given to them in the Constitution stand threatened.
The sum total of our foreign policy seems to consist of frequent foreign visits by the prime minister and his hugging foreign dignitaries, whether they like it or not. It is completely devoid of substance and has failed miserably even in our immediate neighbourhood, where China is trampling all over our interests. The smartly executed surgical strike by our brave jawans against Pakistan has been wasted and Pakistan continues to export terror to India unabated as we watch helplessly. Jammu and Kashmir continues to burn, Left wing extremism refuses to be tamed, and the common man is suffering as never before.
Internal democracy in the party stands completely destroyed. Friends tell me that even in parliamentary party meetings, MPs do not get an opportunity, as in the past, to air their views. In the other party meetings, also, the communication is always one-way. They speak and you listen. The prime minister has no time for you. The party headquarter has become a corporate office where it is impossible to meet the CEO.
The most important threat that has emerged over the last four years, however, is to our democracy. Institutions of democracy have been demeaned and denigrated. Parliament has been reduced to the level of a joke. The prime minister did not even once sit down with senior leaders of the Opposition parties in Parliament when the just-concluded Budget Session was being disrupted in order to find a way out. Then he fasted to shift the blame to others. The first part of the most important Budget Session was the shortest ever. I compare this to the days of Atal Bihari Vajpayee when all of us were under strict instructions to accommodate the Opposition and ensure that Parliament functioned. So we had adjournment motions, no-confidence motions and other discussions under any rule the Opposition wanted.
The press conference by four senior-most judges of the Supreme Court was unprecedented in the annals of our democratic history. It brought out clearly the rot that has been allowed to afflict the highest judicial institution of our country. The judges have repeatedly pointed out that democracy in our country is under threat.
Today, it appears as if winning elections by controlling the means of communication, specially the media and social media, is the sole purpose of our party and even that is threatened seriously now. I do not know how many of you will get the ticket for the next Lok Sabha elections but if previous experience is any guide, half of you at least will not. The chances of your winning the election, even if you get the ticket are fairly remote. In the last Lok Sabha election the BJP had secured only 31 per cent votes; 69 per cent was polled against it. So, if the opposition unites, you will be nowhere.
The situation demands that you speak up in the national interest. I am glad to note that at least five Scheduled Caste MPs of the party have expressed their disenchantment with the government for not delivering on the promises made to the community. I am urging you to also express your opinion frankly before the bosses on all issues confronting us. If you remain silent now you will do a great disservice to the country. Future generations are unlikely to forgive you. It is your right to demand accountability from those who are in government today and are letting down the country. The interest of the country supersedes that of the party, just as the interest of the party supersedes the interest of an individual. I am appealing specially to Advaniji and Joshiji to take a stand in the national interest and ensure that the values they have made such unparalleled sacrifices to uphold are protected and preserved for future generations and corrective steps are taken in time.
There have been some minor successes no doubt, but the big failures overshadow them completely. I hope you will give serious consideration to the issues I have raised in this letter. Please pick up courage, and speak up and save democracy and the country.

Saaho: Karan Johar Out, They Are In
Upcoming big budgeted magnum opus “Saaho” is getting all sorts of attention from Bollywood as they are desiring to see their heartthrob Baahubali Prabhas very soon on the silver screen. And here comes a stunning news about the film’s Hindi version.
Apparently, producer Karan Johar played a key role in taking “Baahubali” to next level in Bollywood arena with his contacts. For the two parts of the franchise, he did amazing publicity work, gained the confidence of distributors and made it a big release. So that is the reason many felt like he will take care of Saaho too, a bilingual film, unlike Baahubali which is a dubbing movie.
Finally, the deal to release Saaho in a big manner is made by none other than another industry giant T-Series. Other day, producer Bhushan Kumar of this film production and music distribution company met Prabhas and finalised the deal. While the film is being produced by UV Creations, it will be released by T-Series in across the North circles.
Directed by Sujeeth of Run Raja Run fame, Saaho has the likes of Shraddha Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunkey Pandey and Arun Vijay in the leading roles.
A Book On Jagan’s Abusive Language Coming Soon
A book on abusive language used by YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s against AP government and also Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is coming soon in the market.
The ruling TDP has decided to publish the book which illustrated in detail Jagan’s use of language against Chandrababu and his government in the public meetings and press conferences held for last four years in Andhra Pradesh.
The book will contain the abusive words used by YSR Congress leader in his speeches in detail. Chandrababu instructed the TDP leaders to bring out the book as soon as possible and distribute them to the public. Leaders said the book will expose Jagan’s arrogance and political immaturity.
