Jagan Emerging First Choice For Netizens?
YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has emerged as the first preference for the netizens, who took part in the online poll conducted by Greatandhra.com.
As many as 22,234 online readers of Greatandhra.com took part in the opinion poll conducted on the topic: “Who will be the next chief minister of Andhra Pradesh in 2019?”. The poll began at 7.22 am on April 10, 2018 and closed on 12.33 am on April 12.
According to the poll outcome, as many as 7502 voters expressed view that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu would retain power in 2019 elections as well. The total percentage of the voters who expected Naidu’s return was 33.74.
However, Jagan clearly edged out Naidu in the poll. As many as 8,968 people who took part in the online poll, accounting for 40.33 per cent of the total voters, said Jagan would be the next chief minister.
On the other hand, only 5,764 people, accounting for 25.92 per cent of the total votes polled, said Pawan Kalyan could become the next chief minister.
Thus, Jagan emerged as the first choice of the Greatandhra.com readers. Obviously, they were impressed with the tremendous response he has been getting to his ongoing padayatra.
The other factors like Naidu’s sudden volte face on special category status issue, anti-incumbency wave building up in the state and allegations of corruption on him and his party leaders etc, might also have made people think that Jagan could be a better option compared to Naidu.
Naidu Is Just A Copycat, Says BJP
Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu does not have originality and is borrowing ideas from other party leaders, according to Bharatiya Janata Party floor leader in the assembly P Vishnu Kumar Raju.
Reacting to Naidu’s announcement that he would take up one-day hunger strike against the Centre’s betrayal of the state, the BJP leader said it was nothing but a blind imitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who went on a day-long hunger strike in protest against the stalling of Parliament by the opposition parties recently.
“Naidu does not get original ideas. He can only follow others and claim them as his own. His latest decision to do fasting for a day is only to gain political mileage and garner votes,” Raju said.He reminded that Naidu had blindly imitated Modi even in prostrating before the steps of Parliament.
“While Modi had done it to show respect to the highest legislature, Naidu aped him and touched the steps of Parliament only to pose for photographs,” he alleged.Raju also pointed out that Naidu had copied the idea of moving no-confidence motion against the NDA government from YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
“Similarly, it was only after Jagan launched the movement for special category status long ago, Naidu has taken a U-turn on his stand and started raising the demand for SCS,” he said.Referring to Naidu’s pronouncement that the TDP would decide the next Prime Minister in 2019 elections and that he would steer the wheel at the Centre again, the BJP leader ridiculed it.
“First of all, let Naidu save his party, before thinking of steering the wheel. He is going to lose miserably in the next elections,” he said.
‘Pawan, Follow Sr NTR’
Andhra Pradesh Kapu community leader Mudragada Padmanabham appealed Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan to stop sailing on two boats.
The Jana Sena leader is pursuing film and political career simultaneously and it will not yield positive results in the politics. TDP founder President NTR gave up his film career and plunged into politics full time. Within six months, NTR succeeded and became Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The Kapu leader suggested Pawan to emulate NTR if he wanted to pursue politics a full time profession in the future.
The major challenge before Pawan is to gain people’s confidence. It will not possible unless the Jana Sena leader live with people and share their plights at ground level. Mudragada also asked Pawan to withdraw his support to BJP and emerge as leader on own.
Why Didn’t Mahesh Wish Ghazi’s Team?
Baahubali The Conclusion and Ghazi, the two acclaimed movies that released last year, did cinephiles and industry people proud by winning the prestigious National Film Awards. Rana Daggubati is the common factor in both the movies.
While Rana played the menacing Bhallaladeva in Baahubali, he was seen as an Indian Naval Officer in Ghazi. Apart from fans and film industry celebs like Pawan Kalyan, Venkatesh and NTR etc took to social media and congratulated the teams of Baahubali 2 and Ghazi including Rana.
But surprisingly, Superstar Mahesh Babu, who congratulated Rajamouli for winning the national award via Twitter, didn’t utter a single word about Ghazi or Rana. Since then, social media has been buzzing with rumours that Mahesh is miffed with Rana.
And the reason is believed to be Rana tweeting his oath scene from Leader soon after Mahesh’s first oath audio teaser was released on January 26. It led to a war between Mahesh’s and Rana’s fans online and many openly chided Rana, calling his act ‘immature and unwanted’. We will have to wait and see how this issue will be resolved in the coming days.
Three Women Behind ‘Mahanati’ Biopic
The legendary actress Savitri’s biopic is winning hearts even before its release. This prestigious movie bankrolled by Swapna cinemas productions, is handled by well known producer Ashwin Dutt’s daughters Priyanka Dutt and Swapna Dutt.The audacious ladies shared their experience of how tough it is being producers.
Speaking on the journey on how it all started Priyanka Dutt said, “As dad is a producer, we were brought up in the film environment, the same interest has hooked us and that’s how ‘Yevade Subramanyam’ came in. Though Dad didn’t believe in what we are doing as a producer during the times of ‘Yevade Subramanyam,’ mom has been the backbone and pushed us to achieve in what we believed the most.”
She also shared that her mom has been the ultimate support for her to take up the Mahanati movie. “Naga Ashwin and I were in plans of doing a biopic of the legendary actress but nothing has fallen in place until my mom has brought the Biopic Book of Savitri. Then we made all the bits and pieces together.”
Her sister Swapna Dutt also shared her experience working for Mahanati, “The objective Mahanati movie is not an easy job, we only know very less about Savitri and her lifestyle. We contacted Savitri daughter Vijaya Chamundeswari and on phone she narrated us where Savitri used to reside and all. We built a set accordingly and she was astonished by the set. We also have mini-museum of Mahanati Savitri”.

Kathi Mahesh, self proclaimed film critic who shot to fame with his never ending mudslinging and baseless allegations against Pawan Kalyan, is being trolled on social media now.
A little known character actress named Sunitha alleged that Kathi Mahesh made unwanted sexual advances towards her right after his Bigg Boss stint.Kathi Mahesh denied the claims but agreed that he has acquaintance with Sunitha.The news channel did their best to guard Kathi Mahesh after Sunitha’s allegations on live TV, but it didn’t go unnoticed.
Kathi Mahesh is being trolled on social media with #500 and #Paytm jokes. Like always he is blaming mega family and Pawan Kalyan for his deeds.Meanwhile, Sri Reddy, who participated in many live debates with Kathi Mahesh on the Casting Couch issue blasted at Kathi Mahesh for talking values after involving in such shameless acts.

Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Anil Ravipudi and Dil Raju met today at production house office to discuss about script. Smile in their faces hint that they are completely glad with the script penned by director Anil Ravipudi himself.
While Venkatesh is seen in normal getup, Varun Tej has grown beard is looking handsome. While Venkatesh acted in multi-starrer films earlier, this will be first time Varun Tej sharing screen space with other hero.

Kathi Defamation Suit Against Konidela Productions
Self-professed film critic Kathi Mahesh has proclaimed to file defamation suit against upcoming artist Sunitha of Rs 50 lakhs for falsely accusing him of sexual harassment and Ram Charan owned Konidela Production for instigating her.
Kathi Mahesh cited that he has huge respect towards women and suggested Sunitha to file a case against him in the police station so that truth will come to light.
While speaking to a TV channel that supports Mahesh Kathi and made him a popular personality, he said, “I told her to file case against me, if she really has any proofs against me. I’m planning to file defamation suit against her as to prove all her allegations against me are deceitful.”
When the channel asked whether there’s any conspiracy behind Sunitha levelling sexual harassment claims on him, Mahesh replied, “I was the only person to speak about megastar, power star, mega power star and superstar lately.
Despite serious accusations against Vakada Appa Rao, Sye Raa makers haven’t removed him from the post of executive producer.
Sunitha in her TV debate informed to have visited Sye Raa office and supported Vakada Appa Rao in the matter are clear indication of defaming me.

Entire Tollywood was in utter shock when actress Sri Reddy revealed a few screenshots of her alleged ‘romantic WhatsApp chats’ with a star Tollywood director. Even though Sri Reddy didn’t openly mention anyone’s name, certain hints she gave in a live TV debate made everyone wonder if it is Koratala Siva.
