Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa is one of the most prestigious projects that will come out of Tollywood in 2019. Sye Raa’s team is determined to make the film on Baahubali scale and has roped in nationally recognised actors and technicians.

In an exclusive update, it has been known that Milky Beauty Tamannaah has been signed on by Sye Raa’s team for an important role in the film. Tamannaah garnered nationwide acclaim with the Baahubali franchise and her presence will help a great deal during Sye Raa’s North Indian release.

Tamannaah’s next release is Kalyan Ram’s Naa Nuvve. She also has a romcom with Sundeep Kishan and Queen’s Telugu remake which will release in the second half of this year.

Veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao, who is the front-runner for the TTD Chairman post, has shaved off his beard. KRR has offered his beard to Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala. Raghavendra Rao, the guru of Rajamouli, is always seen with his beard. He always sees beard as part of himself. But breaking such convention, Raghavendra Rao offered the beard to Swamy praying for Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, that was promised by the Centre to the state.

Instead of offering his hair on the scalp, Raghavendra Rao offered his facial hair. He wished that Lord Balaji will fulfill his wish soon and benefit the people.

Meanwhile, Raghavendra also extended his complete support to AP state government on behalf of film fraternity. Raghavendra told media that the entire Telugu film industry supports the cause of Special Category Status to AP and is always ready to join the fight for the cause. He demanded that the Centre should fulfill all its promises that it had committed to AP during 2014 polls.
