Now, TDP is also constructing its new and swanky office – NTR Bhavan – in Andhra Pradesh at rapid pace. The office is being built in 2 Lakh Square feet and it will have 3 blocks. The works are going on at fast pace and the office is expected to be inaugurated by the end of 2018 or early 2019.

With Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao opting for an early election in the State, many new political permutations and combinations are expected to take shape in the next couple of months. While the Opposition grouping-led the Congress Party is trying to consolidate the anti-incumbency Vote in its favour; KCR is likely to practice politics of division in the run-up to the Polls.

According to information available from reliable sources, the ‘Pink’ Boss is keen to seek the help of YSR Congress supremo Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to split traditional Congress Votes in Telangana!In 2014, YSRCP fielded candidates in across 92 Constituencies in Telangana; and was also rewarded with winning Khammam Parliament seat, and three Assembly seats. However, the winning Member of Parliament and MLAs joined TRS subsequently.

Now in 2018, KCR is once again seeking the support of Jagan Mohan Reddy to field YSRCP candidates in certain Constituencies of Telangana to ensure divide pro-Congress Vote Bank. According to the sources in TRS and YSRCP, Jagan has been requested to field candidates across unified Khammam, Nizamabad, Ranga Reddy limits to ensure the fans the late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy do not Vote in favour of the Congress Party.

With the Poll bugle likely to be blown sooner than later, it would be interesting to see if KCR-Jagan combo will yield favorable results for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

Comedian-turned-politician and sitting TRS MLA from Andole Babu Mohan has received a major shock from party chief KCR. Of all the 105 candidates announced by KCR, he has only changed two sitting candidates – Andole and Chennur.

Out of the two constituencies, one being Babu Mohan’s Andole is what has triggered big debate among political circles. Another sitting MLA Nallala Odelu from Chennur Assembly constituency has also been replaced. Sitting MP from Peddapalli, Balka Suman, is going to contest from Chennur Assembly constituency on TRS ticket.

As per inside reports, KCR is unhappy over the performance of Babu Mohan and Nallala Odelu. KCR told to have already warned them earlier but they reportedly didn’t change their ways is what TRS party sources inform. Reportedly, KCR changed these candidates after he received negative feedback against them in his survey.

The dissolution of the state assembly by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi government headed by K Chandrasekhar Rao forced the opposition parties to wake from their slumber and get into action mode.The opposition parties, however, are still not keen on going to polls so early. Though the Congress party says it is ready to face the assembly elections whenever they are held, it wondered why the TRS is going in for early elections without showing valid reason.

“It is nothing but arrogance of the chief minister. By going in for early polls, he has indirectly admitted that his party would lose the elections, if they are held as per the schedule in April,” AICC general secretary in-charge of Telangana affairs R C Khuntia said.He pointed out that there would be no development if the model code of conduct comes into force for the assembly shortly. Since this is the caretaker government, it cannot take up any new works.

“Within a couple months of the completion of the assembly elections, there will be another model code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections. And the people will suffer,” Khuntia said.Telangana PCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy said there was no meaning in KCR’s reasoning for going for the polls.

“If his government is really doing so well for the people, why should he blame the opposition criticism for his decision to dissolve the assembly? The fact is that he has not fulfilled many of his major promises made before 2014. He is afraid of people’s backlash. Whatever he is now claiming are blatant lies,” he said.

Telangana BJP leaders, too, are gearing up to face the early elections to the state assembly.“We are ready to face the elections. There is absolutely no worry,” state BJP president Dr K Laxman said.He said KCR could not give proper reasoning for dissolving the assembly for early elections, Laxman sought to know why KCR had gone back from his earlier stand of holding simultaneous elections to the assembly and Parliament.

“Obviously, he is scared of growing anti-incumbency,” he said.

Hyderabad: Hours after dissolution of the Telangana state Assembly on Thursday, ruling TRS announced candidates for 105 constituencies.Caretaker Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K. Chandrasekhar Rao released the list of candidates.

He announced the names at a news conference at TRS headquarters — Telangana Bhavan. He said only two sitting candidates were denied tickets.KCR, as Rao is popularly known, said candidates for the remaining 14 constituencies will be announced soon.He was addressing the media a couple of hours after the cabinet meeting, which recommended dissolution of the Assembly to pave way for early polls. Governor E. S. L. Narasimhan accepted the recommendation.

KCR was confident that fresh elections to the state Assembly will be held in November. “There is no confusion over this,” he said, adding that he has already spoken to the Chief Election Commissioner and requested him to hold the polls at the earliest.
