Share

Long awaited first look of Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 is out now. It is a biopic of mathematician Anand Kumar and the story is all about the life of Anand Kumar when he was a teacher in Bihar and the way his Super 30 program changed students’ lives.

Hrithik Roshan’s look reminds us his look from Agneepath and the words written on the first look poster say “Ab Raja Ka Beta Raja Nahin Banega”, which looks like a statement against Nepotism!? The caption actually means that Hrithik’s characters is going to help the talented and deserved.

Hrithik himself revealed the first look, without any caption.

Ravi Teja Tells Vaitla: Come with New Ideas

Share

Ravi Teja is worried about the fate of “Amar Akbar Anthony” which has almost completed the shoot. Ravi Teja is reportedly not happy with Vaitla’s adamant nature of sticking to his old ideas.

It is no secret that the first look of “Amar Akbar Anthony” didn’t excite anyone as the poster featured nothing but three photos of Ravi Teja in slight different hairstyles.

Why should one have to wait for the completion of the 80 percent of shoot to release a poster with three different pics as that could have done at a photo studio in one hour. That was the major complaint came from his fans.

Since it is a crucial film for both Vaitla and him, Ravi Teja now asked his director to concentrate on the teaser and trailer. He wants the best teaser should go out.

The team of “Amar Akbar Anthony” has returned from USA after completing the shoot there for nearly one month. The teaser should be coming in a week.

Ravi Teja is said to have told Vaitla not to compromise on teaser and trailers as they have become key to good openings. All bad trailers in the recent times turned out to be duds.

Both Ravi Teja and Vaitla are going through bad phase. The former has delivered two consecutive flops – ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ and ‘Nela Ticket’, while the latter has given three duds in a row – ‘Agadu’, ‘Bruce Lee’ and ‘Mister’.

Anil Ravipudi Not to do ‘Extras’

Share

Producer Dil Raju has suddenly become unpopular after the super flop of ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’.He had seen many failures in the past but this film has damaged him personally for his ‘extra words’ he used before the release. He belittled the stardom of Nithin by saying that the star made rounds to his house to make film with him. He also claimed that this film would collect more than Rs 50 cr.

All his over confident talk and over action in terms of tall claims and belittling others received backlash after the debacle of this movie.Similarly, his camp director Harish Shankar also faced problems with over action at the success meet of “DJ”. He slammed critics for not giving good ratings to his movie.

One and half years have been passed since the release of “DJ”, he is yet to get the dates of any star for his next movie.Knowing all these, Anil Ravipudi, another director from Dil Raju camp, has become cautious in his approach. He was recently telling the media folks that he would not do such extra things. He wants to focus on work rather than tall claims.

He has delivered three hits. So, he doesn’t want to spoil the good career. Matured decision, we must say.

Rana Adds Name, Not Money

Share

Rana has inherited clever business tactics from his dad Suresh Babu. He is now winning all the praise for “producing” small-budgeted movie “Care of Kancharapalem” though he has not invested any money on this.

The film was bankrolled by an NRI cardiologist Praveena Parachuri and other independent producers. They later approached Suresh Productions for the support for release and other things.

Sensing that the film has good material to win critical acclaim, Rana has added his name as presenter and used all his resources and contacts to build buzz around it. He has successfully managed this and is getting all the praise with zero investment.

The film is reportedly made with mere Rs 75 lakhs and he can easily sell it for more than Rs 1 cr to satellite channels and can also get good money from digital streaming sites. Clever strategy indeed.

Also it is a win-win situation for the Indie filmmakers as well.

Chiranjeevi Scolds Shivaji Raja?

Share

Megastar Chiranjeevi is deeply upset with the recent controversy about irregularities in funds of Movie Artistes’ Association (MAA).His name has been unnecessarily dragged into it, though he is no way connected to the funds and its management.

He magnanimously agreed to attend the events in the US to raise funds to construct a building for MAA. However, the fundraising show in USA not only turned out to be a damp squib, but its rights were also sold for paltry amount. It is now almost confirmed that MAA President Shivaji Raja gave rights to the agency for lesser amount than the originally agreed amount.

The question is why did he agree for such amount? Or was the rest of the amount taken with no mention in accounts? These allegations were made by actor Naresh.Chiranjeevi is said to have scolded Shivaji Raja for dragging his name into this whole controversy.

He is said to have told Sivaji Raja that he should have maintained transparency or handled the mess in a more matured manner.Chiru is founder member of this organization and he is deeply upset with the allegations, though none are against him.

Another Young Beauty for Nani’s Jersey

After completing Devadas, Nani will be commencing the intense sports drama ‘Jersey’. He plays a cricketer in the movie which will be directed by Malli Raava director Gautham Thinnanuri and produced by Sitara Entertainments banner.

Now, a source close to the development has exclusively informed us that Jersey makers have roped in the young Pune girl Kashmira Pardeshi as the leading lady opposite Nani. Apparently, Jersey makers are quite impressed with Kashmira’s bubbly screen presence in her recently released Tollywood debut ‘Narthanashala’.

Of late, Nani is pairing with young and relatively less experienced actresses. He was last seen romancing a newbie named Rukshar Dhillon in Krishnarjuna Yuddham. He had signed Devadas opposite Rashmika Mandanna before she became a name to reckon with thanks to the back to back blockbusters ‘Chalo’ and ‘Geetha Govindam’

21 Lakh Voters Missing In Telangana?

Share

If the allegation levelled by the Telangana Congress party is to be believed, as many as 21 lakh voters are missing from the electoral list in the state this year, compared to 2014.According to Telangana PCC president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy, there were about 2.81 crore voters in 2014 elections. However, as per the draft rolls published by the Election Commission on India on September 1, 2018, their number has reduced to 2.60 crore.

“Where have over 21 lakh voters gone?” he asked.

Uttam Kumar Reddy said the decrease in numbers was totally abnormal.

“Except for the voters who passed away, all other voters must figure in the electoral rolls in one constituency or the other if they had shifted their residences. But deletion of more than 21 lakh names is not justifiable,” he siad.In fact, the actual number of deletion in the last four years could be much higher if the number of fresh voters who enrolled themselves during revision of electoral rolls is taken into consideration. In the current year, nearly 8 lakh new voters have registered their names.

“Therefore, we seriously suspect that some forces have been tampering with the electoral rolls of Telangana State,” he said while alleging that thousands of names were also deleted from the electoral rolls during the GHMC elections in 2016.

The TPCC president said that all the Congress workers have been directed to check the electoral rolls of their respective polling booths in their constituencies to find the deletions, wrong entries or corrections.

Mega Hero Avoiding Clash With Allu Hero

Share

Waiting for the release of his latest film “Antariksham”, mega hero Varun Tej has decided to pick films that will either offer something very new or the stories that are never told in Telugu industry.

In that process, Varun is interested in indulging in remakes as well which his family seniors like Megastar Chiru and Pawan Kalyan always preferred. A Malayalam film titled Orayiram Kannakal, which released early this year is offered to Varun Tej but the actor is holding it off for a different reason.

This film deals with the story of an ex-NRI who comes to India and hatches a plan to earn easy money. But Varun Tej feels that the storyline is pretty similar to what another Mallu movie ABCD has, which is now being remade by Allu Sirish. The actor feels that it is better to avoid a clash with his own family’s hero and hence avoiding to pick this NRI story.

There are instances in the film industry where two heroes picked up similar subjects and both the films failed at the box office. Probably that sentiment has also alerted Varun Tej.

‘No One Approched Me For NTR’

Share

Earlier last month, several rumors popped out that actress Raashi Khanna has been approached to play the character of Jaya Pradha, veteran actress turned politician, in NTR biopic. But, the Tholiprema actress has rubbished the speculation saying that she was not been approached for any role in the film on legendary NTR featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna.

On other hand, we have been reading that the production unit of NTR has contacted Anushka to play Bhanumathi, Shriya for Jamuna’s role and Rakul Preet Singh for Sridevi’s role. As of now, there’s no official news about it.

Speaking about her upcoming project with the latest sensation Vijay Deverakonda, Raashi tells she’s very excited to work with an actor who always tries to enhance the character he plays. She feels lucky to be part of Kranthi Madhav’s film in which she is going to play the role that’s got a lot of scope for acting.

The bubbly actress, who recently met Vijay to discuss script, is all waiting to join the shoot of this film. ‘It is certainly quite easy to play a glamorous role, but I’m very keen to pick up characters that showcase my acting chops and at same time, has a commercial element to it,’ Raashi Khanna confesses.

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and Superstar Salman Khan might be on screen rivals and their fans may slug it out with each other. However, Shah Rukh’s latest statement has shocked many as SRK stated that whatever he is now is because of Salman Khan’s father and writer Salim Khan.

When SRK had first came to Mumbai, he had struggled a lot to get roles in films and worked hard to meet his ends. Apparently, that’s when Salman’s family said to have stood behind him and supported him. Shah Rukh stated that what he is today is because of Salim Khan, father of Salman Khan.

SRK, who attended the TV show Dus Ka Dam that has Salman Khan as host, stated that he had come to the show only for Salman. He said he would go to wherever Salman asks him to go. That’s when SRK got emotional and revealed how Salman’s father Salim Khan had encouraged him. SRK recalled that Salim Khan’s family had fed him at their home.

At the early of their careers, both SRK and Salman were very close. However, due to some issues, differences surfaced between the duo in 2008. But later at an Iftar party, both Khans have patched up by hugging each other. SRK had also attended the wedding of Salman’s sister Arpita Khan in 2014. Since then, the friendship is back.

Writer Shares Harikrishna’s Narketpally Incident In 80’s

Share

Nandamuri Harikrishna left everyone shocked as he passed away in a tragic car accident on the Nalgonda-Narketpally highway last week. And according to the latest revelation made by senior writer Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Narketpally has another significance in Harikrishna’s life.

The incident dates back to more than three decades. When the story discussions for NT Ramarao’s Anuraga Devatha began in 1980, NTR asked his son and the film’s producer Harikrishna to bring Paruchuri Gopalakrishna from Uyyuru in his car.

“Harikrishna drove so fast that the engine broke down with a lot of smoke and the car came to a sudden halt at Narketpally,” said Gopalakrishna. He went on to reveal that Harikrishna then asked him if he was scared at his rash driving. Gopalakrishna told him that he was not scared as he trusted his driving.

The above incident is proof enough to understand Harikrishna’s expertise in car driving. Call it an unfortunate coincidence or destiny, the same Narketpally highway had once again witnessed Harikrishna’s car come to a final halt on the fateful morning of August 29.
