We have seen artistes who have become popular with “Jabardast” comedy show, entering films and establishing themselves as top comedians. Very soon, a film director will enter Tollywood from the popular TV show.

Adhire Abhi has got good recognition as a talented comedian through “Jabardast” show. His skits show his flair for comic writing. Abhi actually came to the industry with the dream of becoming a director, and with the base he has found with Jabardasth, he is planning to turn a director soon.

Buzz in film circles is that pre-production work for Abhi’s directorial debut is progressing at swift pact. The script work has reportedly been finished already. Harshavardhan Rane will play the male lead in the film. An official announcement is expected soon.

For the unknown, Abhi has assisted Rajamouli for some portions of Baahubali and worked as Assistant Director on a few other films too.

Today it happens to be the birthday of Mega hero Ram Charan and he’s welcoming that in style as his latest film is also going to release in next three days. On this happy note, some vintage pictures of the actor are doing rounds on social media now.

One of such pictures is, Ram Charan and Allu Sirish quite effortlessly posing before the camera in a studio decades ago. Sirish is just 2 years younger to Cherry and both have quite a superb bonding since childhood days. Many times Sirish is vocal about the brotherly support Charan gives and today he tweeted “Happy birthday to my favourite cousin, my well wisher, one of the most kind hearted and intelligent person I know. In the picture, we could see how Charan is posing stylishly while chubby Sirish is little naughty and also posing quite curiously. These are the days where TV channels are investing huge on celebrity glamour in order to stay ahead in the race of TRPs. And that became result oriented move too with Jr NTR bringing huge TRPs to Star MAA with his Big Boss stunt as a host. Here is another interesting news.

Earlier Zee Telugu has started this trend of roping in a special brand ambassador for their channel. First, they started with Tamanna where milky siren appeared in special promos of the channel and during special events held by them. Later, Samantha has replaced Tamanna owing to the craze and stardom factors. And while Sam is promoting Zee Telugu big way, now Star MAA also started this brand ambassador game.

After having the likes of Chiranjeevi and NTR on board to host those highly popular TV shows, now Star MAA wants a brand ambassador for the whole channel. And it seems like they are happy to take NTR for that position as he happens to be one of the happening star heroes right now. Owing to the TRPs he generated with Big Boss stint, the channel can’t find any better proven option as well.

We hear that much of Jr NTR’s services will be used for the upcoming IPL season with NTR giving his bytes on various matches, coming up with some promos for the season and much more. As IPL kick starts from April 1st week, we have to see what’s really in store from NTR and Star MAA.

Long back,we have first broke the news that Rana Daggubati is turning villain with Rajamouli’s the then working title ‘Baahubali’ movie. And it came true. Here comes another exclusive news, this time we hear that a senior hero is giving up his hero tag to become antagonist for two big star heroes.

Apparently, Rajamouli is busily finalising the cast of the film though no one knows what is the story of his next film, which is being trended with the hashtag #RRR. Reports are coming that for both Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the leading director found a terrific villain.

Yes, it is believed that Rajamouli had a word with senior hero Rajasekhar regarding this antagonist role. From a time, Rajasekhar is also expressing his desire to show villainy and he openly declared that if Chiranjeevi gives chance he’s ready to play the villain in Khaidi No. 150 movie. But that didn’t happen. However, Rajamouli is said to have conveyed some of his requirements to the Angry Hero and if it works, then the Sr star will be taking a beating from both the star heroes.

Generally, Rajamouli’s villains are more powerful than the heroes and they will be seen throughout the movies with a strong characterisation and author backed writing. Let’s see what happens.

After wrapping the post-production work, Ram Charan’s latest movie “Rangasthalam” directly went to Censor Board and got certified with U/A. And here comes the bigger challenge as the Mega Powerstar passed this test very easily without many hiccups.

Long back 50 crores club used to be a tougher one and Ram Charan did it very easily. But then, the trend changed, film viewing experiences got changed and audiences are rushing to theatres if star heroes come up with interesting movies. And that’s how the 80 and 70 crore clubs have formed now. While Jr NTR and Mahesh entered 80 crore club with their commercial message-oriented films, Bunny is rocking in the 70 crore clubs.

Cut to Rangasthalam, the film has to collect 80 crores at any cost to be termed as a no loss venture. Sold for nearly 18 crores in Nizam, 12 crores in Ceeded and 5+ crores in East, the film totally made 62+ crores business in Telugu states. While Karnataka rights fetched 7.6 crores, Overseas theatricals are sold for 9 crores. On a whole, the film did 80+ crores business in all the territories across the globe.

Collecting 60+ crores from domestic market will be easy if the film gets hit talk, but the film has to collect nearly 2.5 million dollars to push Overseas distributor into no-loss mode. So Charan and Sukumar are having a big test ahead to prove their real stamina. Tollywood, brace yourselves!!

The Ravi Teja-Santhosh Srinivas movie will be an action entertainer. Now, Gulte has exclusively learned that the Mass Maharaja will be romancing two young actresses in the movie. Keerthy Suresh and Catherine Tresa are said to have been roped in as the leading ladies opposite Ravi Teja.

While Keerthy Suresh plays the main female lead, Catherine Tresa too has a crucial part in the movie. Mythri Movie Makers, the banner that’s producing Amar Akbar Anthony, will also produce the Ravi Teja-Santhosh Srinivas project from late summer.
