As per the news reports and Industry buzz, we might get to see Mohanbabu in a powerful Villain role again.Recently, his interview with Rajdeep Sardesai made him the troll and meme matter once again, as he said “Fasakk”It is nothing new for him, he used to be liked for being so unconventional in his dialogue delivery and dynamic in his range as a Villain.

After becoming hero, he continued to be different but not at the same level. Still, his biggest hit is Peddarayudu, which is now a mass film classic.Many directors who are fans of his dialogue delivery and his style, want him to make a re-entry as Villain but he is very choosy about his roles. He recently acted in Gayatri as a villain and protagonist.

His villain portrayal was liked by many but as the movie did not have enough of that character, it failed. Now, Suriya is interested in working with Mohanbabu it seems and the actor offered a powerful role in his next which will be dirdcted by Sudha Kongara, director of Guru. Let’s wait for the official confirmation.

Naga Shaurya has played it very safe in his career so far. Tagged as a soft and handsome hero, Shaurya has stuck to youthful and romantic films. However, his last film Chalo, which was an entertainer, has made him come out of the shell. It also helped him to bounce back with huge commercial success. In a candid-most interview, Naga Shaurya has opened up on various elements. He has wore a heart on his sleeve ahead of the release of Narthanasala on Aug 30th. Excerpts from the one-on-one conversation with Shaurya.

What if Chalo becomes Disaster?

May be, we would have taken sometime to cope up. But it’d have least effect on Narthanasala. We have had already begun the work of Narthanasala. We had even opened a new and separate office for Narthanasala before Chalo release. Had if Chalo became disaster, we still went ahead with Narthanasala without a second thought since that much confidence we have on Narthanasala and director Srinivas.

Had Chalo become bigger hit if Climax was changed?

Frankly, Chalo wasn’t a different story or plot. It was similar to Prabhas’ Mirchi (fight between two villages) and also similar to NTR’s Brundavanam. The treatment for Chalo is fresh. I don’t think Chalo would have been hit if we had serious climax.

Audiences wouldn’t accept if I do action or say lengthy dialogues like Prabhas or NTR respectively. So from the beginning, we were very clear to make climax very light-hearted one. And as we expected, it worked.

What was Narthanasala Director’s Reaction after Chalo?

Director Srinivas was a bit worried before Chalo’s release. He had his apprehensions that we may not do Narthanasala if Chalo wasn’t successful. But my parents and I were very clear on Narthanasala story and were pretty confident.

Any changes to Narthanasala after Chalo?

You don’t believe, but it’s true. We haven’t made any major change to Narthanasala after Chalo’s success. We simply retained what we had discussed during the first narration. Because, Narthanasala’s USP is its story, content. It will be an out-and-out entertainer.

Why a gay role?

This is a different attempt from me and people would enjoy this in theatres. Actually, personally I feel gays or lesbians shouldn’t be discriminated. Not many know that gays are good-hearted humans. I’ve so many gay friends. They’re all good. I often talk to them and have friendly conversations.

Even when they drop in at my shooting locations, security people stop them at the entrance. Whenever I see them, I tell security people to allow them inside. They always like the way I treat them. In fact, they don’t even ask money from me. If I say I don’t have since usually, I don’t carry money with me, they say it’s okay and they just talk and leave.

What are your upcoming films?

My next film is Nari Nari Naduma Murari directed by newcomer Raja Kolusu. This film is being produced by Bhavya Creations. And I’ve signed another film Ghana with debutante director Ramana Teja. It’s going to be very serious film and heart-wrenching film. People would stand and clap after watching it on screen. And couple of other films are in talks with new directors and also with some big banners.

Very soon queen bee Samantha is going to entertain the audience with a thriller titled “U-Turn” which is a remake of the hit Kannada film with the same name directed by Pawan Kumar. At the same time, her hubby Naga Chaitanya is coming up with family entertainer “Shailaja Reddy Alludu” directed by Maruthi, which also stars Ramya Krishnan and Anu Emmanuel.

Reports have that the star couple #ChaySam are going to clash at the box office on September 13th. Initially, Shailaja Reddy Alludu was supposed to hit the screens on 31st August, but got postponed due to Kerala floods and also delay in post-production work is now being scheduled to release on September 13th says close sources. This has led to speculations that “U-Turn” might get postponed to avoid a clash between the Akkineni pair, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

But an official announcement has been made by Samantha that “U-Turn” will hit the screens on September 13th as scheduled. However, it will be interesting to witness which of these films will dominate at the box-office. Some sources clarified that there will be one day difference in release dates as both Chay and Sam agreed to go that way rather coming on the same day.

On the other hand, both Chaitu and Sam will be romancing each other once again for an upcoming film to be directed by Ninnu Kori fame Shiva Nirvana.

Natural Star Nani has dared many things to take up the hosting of #BigBoss2. While critics always compared him with Jr NTR and came out with unpleasant comments, audiences loved the star for his natural hosting style. And now, they became his devotees.

Yes, looking at the way Nani has handled a few situations inside the house is giving a huge edge to him. Other day in the Rakshabandhan episode, Nani has met housemates and spoke to him like any other person who is watching them every day. If reports are to be believed, the promising actress who has many notable films to her credit is likely to be roped in for an important role alongside Rajasekhar in the upcoming film “Kalki”. However, an official confirmation is yet to come. This movie is directed by Prashant Varma of “Awe” movie fame and being produced by C Kalyan and Rajasekhar’s daughters.

Many young starlets these days are rejecting the likes of Chiranjeevi and Balayya as well provided with the fact that they are all 50+ aged stars. But it looks Dhansika has no such qualms. We hear that Sai Dhansika is not worried about portraying a lover of senior heroes as she always feels her acting will do justice to the role she is playing.

According to that filmmaker, Rakul earns 1 Crore for a south biggie whereas her remuneration for a B-town film is as low as 45-50 lakhs. This is shocking, isn’t it? – but, most of the south actresses try their luck in Hindi just to gain some brand-endorsements in their kitty.

Before Rakul, other leading heroines like Ileana, Trisha, Kajal, Hansika, Laxmi Raai and others followed this route but all of them found their way back as they do not want to miss their big remunerations down south.

There have been wrong reports that Balayya visited the sets of Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and greeted him. It’s buzzed that Balayya and Chiru spent sometime on Sye Raa sets. However, it’s learnt that there is no truth in such rumours.

Sources close to both stars have denied the news and called it as baseless rumour. While Balayya is quite busy with his own films and is working on tight deadlines to release NTR Biopic for Sankranthi, he has upcoming films lined up with Boyapati and others.

On the other hands, Chiru & Co are also want to complete the Sye Raa shoot as early as possible and wants to spend more time on the film’s post-production which is expected to take more time than the usual given the involvement of high-end VFX. So, Balayya visiting the sets of Sye Raa is certainly a big joke. Fans of Balayya and Chiru have to wait for some more time to see them together.
