Modi Arrogant & Power Hungry – Sonia
Speaking at the Congress party’s 84th plenary in New Delhi, the party’s former President Sonia Gandhi vehemently attacked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his power hungry politics. Sonia termed Modi’s policies as ‘dramebaazi’ and divisive for the country.
“People have now understood that his (Modi’s) 2014 promises of ‘sabka saath sabka vikas’ and ‘na khaoonga na khane dunga’ and his ‘Mann ki Baat’ are nothing but pure ‘dramebaazi'”, Sonia said.
Sonia dubbed Modi’s 2014 poll pledge to pursue inclusive development and crackdown on corruption as mere ‘showboating’. She further chided the Modi-led BJP of turning blind to people’s love for Congress.
The veteran leader from the illustrious Gandhi family went on to say that all the pro-poor policies of the UPA government have been reversed during the current NDA rule. Sonia vowed to unite all the like-minded parties to challenge the BJP-RSS combine in the 2019 polls. On the other hand, Sonia’s son and Congress’ President Rahul Gandhi will deliver his speech at the plenary today.
How Did Sye Raa Slip Out Of Balayya’s Hands?
Right now various rumours are doing rounds on the internet that director Sriwaas who made “Dictator” with Nandamuri Balakrishna was supposed to direct “Sye Raa” as well with the same hero. Is there any iota of truth in this?
Actually, it is writers Paruchuri Brothers and their associates who are actually preparing the script of Sye Raa for a long time. The film deals with the story of rebel fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who has briefly shaken British establishments in Kadapa region in the late 1800s. And when the news came that Balayya is looking forward for a historical story for his 100th, the writers are said to have bounced him with the story.
But Balayya felt that there are lot inaccuracy and lack of information in the story and he wanted to do more work on the script. In the meantime, Krish came up with Satakarni story and Balayya went ahead with it. And Paruchuri brothers who have initially thought of Chiru for this film have again gone to the Megastar, this time with a finished script. And the project landed in Megastar’s hands without any second thought.
In the whole episode, it is trued that Paruchuri went to Balayya with the script, there is no point that Sriwass is approached to direct the movie.
Jagadeka Veerudu Connection For Mahanati
One of the most awaited films- Mahanati, biopic on legendary actress Savitri was postponed from initially reported release date, but the movie won’t be missing summer dhamaka.
The film that will have Keerthy Suresh portraying Savitri will be gracing to theatres for audience verdict on May 9th which coincidentally happens to be the release date of megastar Chiranjeevi’s industry hit film Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari that was also produced by Ashwini Dutt
Meanwhile, makers of Mahanati released a poster to announce official release date of the film. Keerthy Suresh aka Savitri is making up to participate in shoot, whereas makers are readying their film for theatrical outing on May 9th.
Although Keerthy’s face isn’t clearly visible in the side angle, she seems to have played the challenging role impeccably. With sufficient star cast such as Naga Chaitanya, Samantha, Dulquer Salman and Vijay Devarakonda playing vital roles, Mahanati is expected to become a memorable film for producer Priya Dutt like how Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari remains to be a very special movie for her dad Ashwini Dutt!
Teaser Talk: Crazy Disease For Rajugadu
The teaser of Raj Tarun’s latest romantic comedy ‘Rajugadu’ has been released this morning to coincide with Ugadi. In Rajugadu, Raj Tarun plays Raju, a young man who suffers from a ‘crazy disease’ – Kleptomania. Being a kleptomaniac, Raju steals from people without his knowledge.
The fun teaser reveals an interesting plot where Raju once steals a few valuable jewellery from the girl he loves. The girl seeks Raju’s help to retrieve her lost jewellery and what follows later forms the crux of the story. Amyra Dastur plays Raj Tarun’s love interest and Rajendra Prasad plays his father.
Rajugadu is directed by debutant Sanjana Reddy and produced by Anil Sunkara. The film is scheduled for release on May 11 to cash in on the summer holidays.
Target Modi! KCR to meet Didi
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is likely to meet West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee amid a swirl of political movements in nation to hold the initials talks of ‘Third Front’. Earlier this month, KCR gave a voice to all regional parties by clearly sending the signals of anti-Congress and anti-BJP front. He also said he will soon meet all the regional party leaders and bureaucrats across the country to gather support for the ‘Third Front’.
KCR’s Third Front idea was backed by Mamta Banarjee, MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Former Jharkhand CM Hemanth Soren and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan.
Quickly after KCR coined the idea of ‘Third Front’, many regional parties lined up to support him. Mamta, CM of West Bengal and chief of Trinamool Congress party, was one among them who directly made a phone call to TRS supreme and advocated the necessity of Third Front in the center. In the process, all the regional parties have come forward to support the no confidence motion of TDP & YSRCP in Lok Sabha.
Now, KCR is making a step ahead and going to Kolkata (West Bengal capital) on 19th March to meet CM Mamta Banerjee to hold talks for the likelihood of ‘Third Front’. The news of this meeting is attracting all the attention in the national level and let’s wait to see what the outcome of this meet will be.
Kalyanram Wants Star Heroines At Any Cost!
In the recent times, picking up heroines has become a daunting task for certain heroes. That’s the reason some senior starlets are pairing with them and also charging a bomb at the same time.
Despite scoring a hit with Pataas, almost all the next films of Kalyan Ram had either new faces or those who didn’t have fame. For that reason, the actor wants to work only with big starlets from now. And that’s how he got Kajal Agarwal roped in for MLA movie. As she charges a huge bomb, generally only star heroes pick her, but Kalyan Ram is said to have strongly fought for her.
And then, we have him romancing milky beauty Tamanna in Naa Nuvve that is being directed by Jayendra. REports are coming that Kalyan Ram made his producer pay more than 1.5 crores to get her dates. That’s something a Samantha or a Rakul Preet charges for a film being made on a simple budget.
Looks like with Kalyan Ram expressing his deepest feelings to bring only star heroines on board, Tamanna rightly cashed the chance. Otherwise after so many strings of flops and that blink n miss role in Baahubali, who will give Tamanna such paycheque?
