Donald Trump Jr’s wife files for divorce
New York: Vanessa Trump, the wife of President Donald Trump’s older son — Donald Trump Jr — has filed for divorce in a New York court after 12 years of marriage.
The couple have five children and have been struggling with domestic problems, apparently because of the prolonged absences of Trump Jr, from home.
The New York Post quoted the couple’s friends, who said they had been expecting it for a long time.
Now that the step has been taken, they expected it to conclude quickly, Efe news reported.
Vanessa Trump on Thursday went to the Manhattan Supreme Court to file necessary documents to divorce her 40-year-old husband, who heads his father’s businesses after Trump de-linked himself from the organisation before the 2016 election.
An informed source close to the couple told the New York Post that their problems had existed for a long time and had been difficult to resolve. The pair had hoped to spend more time together after the election but Trump Jr was “never there”, he added.
Vanessa Trump, a 40-year-old former model, reportedly does not expect there to be a legal battle for custody of the couple’s five children or over dividing up their assets.
The pair married in November 2005 at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s exclusive country club in South Florida, where he also wed his wife Melania in January of that year.

50 L for Mahesh, 1 Cr for Charan?
The said amounts are not charged by the respected star heroes but they are the remunerations charged by the same heroine for acting in their respective films.
It is known that Bollywood actress Kiara Advani is playing the female lead role in Mahesh Babu’s “Bharat Ane Nenu”. Even before the release of this film, she signed her second Telugu film, and its another biggie, Ram Charan-Boyapati film. It is heard that she had taken Rs 50 lakhs remuneration for Mahesh’s film and 1 Cr for Charan’s.
You may wonder why such inordinate disparity even though both films are almost equal in star power? Well, BAN is the debut Telugu film of Kiara, she is an unfamiliar face to Telugu audience, but, by the time she signed Charan’s film, she had already done a Mahesh-starrer, thus increase in her brand value. Furthermore, she needs to allot more number of call sheets to Charan’s film than BAN.
Taking Rs 50 lakhs fee for debut film itself is a record of sorts. And, charging Rs 1 Cr for just second film is sensational. Even Pooja Hegde started charging Rs 1+ Cr after showcasing her most glamorous side in DJ, but Kiara has hit the 1 Cr mark even before the release of her debut film!
