Allu Arjun Sends Stories To Akshay And Ravi
Fortunately or unfortunately, heroes reject few stories because of busy work schedule or dislike particular storyline. While such rejected stories sometimes turn disasters, sometimes become super hits. Some became so successful at the box office that they changed the fate of an actor. Tholiprema rejected by Sumanth and Pokiri rejected by Raivteja are such examples.
Cut to now, stylish star Allu Arjun has given two of his interesting projects to Akshay Kumar and Ravi Teja, citing that he hasn’t liked the script well, say reports. He was supposed to do a film with Vikram K Kumar, who proved his mettle with films like Manam, 24 and Hello. As per the reports, the director has narrated a story to Allu Arjun and he didn’t like the version. Eventually, the project is said to have fallen into the hands of Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar. Touted to be a thriller, an official announcement is likely to come very soon.
On the other hand, Allu Arjun is in discussions with VI Anand much before the release of Okka Kshanam. But after Sirish’s movie turned out to be a dud at the box office, Bunny is said to have stepped out from the project. Latest reports are that the director discussed the same story with Ravi Teja and immediately got a nod from the mass star.
Well, we have to wait and see, to judge if Allu Arjun took a wrong step in rejecting these projects or his judgement stands perfect.
Will Sharrath Repeat It?
After a couple of high-budgeted straight films, filmmaker Sharrath Marar has changed his strategy and ventured into the arena of dubbed films. While he scored a hit with his maiden Telugu-dubbed film Vijay’s Adhirindi (originally Mersal), he is prepping up for Nayanthara’s Karthavyam (Aramm in Tamil).
Coupled with interesting teaser, trailer, the word-of-mouth from the film’s premieres are all positive which is raising the expectations bar further. As critics lapping up the film laced with social cause and sees Nayanthara in a never-seen-before role of a bureaucrat, the female-centric film of Nayan is raising the eye balls.
As Karthavyam is all set to lock horns (on Mar 16) with Nikhil’s Kirrak Party which also has good dose of buzz, Sharrath Marar is keeping his fingers crossed. Sharrath said to have doled out a reasonable Rs 3 Crore for the landing cost of the film (including P&A) and has partners on board, he is hoping to repeat the magic of Adhirindi. Since Nayan is a star and draws crowd, Sharrath is expecting good openings and those are likely to take forward with people’s word-of-mouth.

‘Never Met Lokesh, Pawan’s Allegations Trash’
Reacting to Pawan Kalyan’s allegations against Nara Lokesh and his alleged involvement in the case of Sekar Reddy, Sekar Reddy has made it clear that there is no truth in Pawan’s allegation. Stating that he has never met Nara Lokesh before, Sekar Reddy said that he has become TTD member in Tamil Nadu quota. He admitted that the former Tamil Nadu CM and late Jayalalithaa had recommended him for the post, but said he has no relations or business with Andhra Pradesh.
“I have never met Nara Lokesh. I met Chandrababu Naidu only twice – first during the clicking of group picture of the TTD board members after our appointment and second when I went to give Prasad to the CM when he was in Tirupati. I have not met Chandrababu Naidu later,” said Sekar Reddy questioning back why will he have relation with politicians in AP when his base, business is in Tamil Nadu.
Responding to CBI raids, Sekar Reddy said that the CBI officials didn’t get a single proof against him in raids. “All the accounts of my company, receipts of the cash prove that there is no wrong doing. I own 500 lorries and 700 proclainers with an earning of over Rs 100 crore every year,” said Sekar Reddy.
Sekar Reddy also said that he has never met Pawan Kalyan. “Someone might have told Pawan that my name is lucky as a lot of politicians often invite me believing me as luck. Pawan too might be using my name for luck,” said Sekar Reddy quashing all the allegations leveled by Pawan against him, Lokesh and Chandrababu.
TV Actress Escapes Taxi Driver’s Molestation Attempt
It’s so alarming that we are hearing the cases of molestation every day in India. On a shocking note, television actress Upasana Singh who has shot to fame with Kapil Sharma’s Comedy Nights, in which he fondly calls her as Pinky Bua, escaped a molestation attempt in the nick of time other day.
Upasana was in Chandigarh for a shoot and the incident happened when she is heading to her hotel after the completion of work. The taxi driver tried to take her to an empty and dark stretch, but Upasana got alerted immediately and called for the help of police, who rescued and escorted her to the hotel.
The actress informed the same to a news portal, that it took around 45 minutes in the morning to reach the shooting place from the hotel, but it took around two hours in the night and she was still on road. Immediately, she asked the cab driver about the same and he replied that they lost the way. Even when Upasana asked to stop the vehicle, he didn’t. She informed the same to the police and her family members. The police soon came to the place and safely dropped her at the hotel.
The cab driver initially didn’t accept his fault, but soon agreed. Though she wanted to take serious action on that cab driver, left him with an apology letter by the end. We must appreciate Upasana’s spontaneous action and presence of mind, which saved her before something goes wrong.
Are You Not Aware of Lokesh’s Corruption – Pawan asks Naidu
In what can be a major embarrassment to Chandrababu Naidu and his son, IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Pawan Kalyan shot off a direct question to Chandrababu whether he was not aware of his son Nara Lokesh involving in deep rooted corruption. Naming Lokesh directly, Pawan alleged that the corruption deeds of Lokesh are rampant, countless.
Stating that the soul of legendary NTR, who founded TDP, would be in anguish, torment looking at the corruption of Lokesh, TDP, Pawan also raised the issue of alleged involvement of Lokesh in Sekar Reddy case and asked whether Naidu is not aware of Lokesh’s involvement in Sekhar Reddy case.
Levelling serious allegations against Nara Lokesh, Pawan Kalyan has embarrassed Chandrababu to the core. Pawan also went onto allege TDP government of bundle of lies. “In every three words spoken by TDP, there are 6 lies hidden in it,” said Pawan at Jana Sena Maha Sabha in Mangalagiri of Guntur district.
Pawan continued his angst against TDP which he had supported in 2014. Expressing sad over the functioning of TDP, Pawan claimed that he had supported TDP in 2014 only for the people’s interest. “I had supported TDP in 2014 for the rebuilding of AP, but not for the rebuilding of TDP,” said Pawan making his stand very clear.
Naidu becomes Pawan’s prime target!
Contrary to the expectations of political pundits that he would adopt a carrot-and-stick stand towards the Telugu Desam Party in his speech on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the Jana Sena Party, power star and party president Pawan Kalyan launched a scathing attack on the ruling party in general and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in particular.
In his hour-and-a half long speech, Pawan targeted Naidu specifically and almost ignored YSR Congress party and the BJP. After making some initial attack on the BJP for not granting special category status, the actor turned his attention on the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu.
He described Naidu as a failed politician and the TDP rule as the most disappointing.
“Corruption has reached its peak – the TDP leaders are not sparing any natural resource to loot, right from water to land to sand to red sanders. Naidu has remained blind to his son Lokesh indulging in large scale corruption,” he alleged.
Pawan sought to know why Naidu had remained silent when the Centre was turning a blind eye towards the state.
“In 2015 itself, I called for a fight against the Centre demanding the special category status. When I opposed the special financial package describing it as rotten laddus, you had accepted the same.
The laddus never came. Yet, you kept quiet. And now, you have come back to what I said three years ago. If you say three words, there are six lies in it,” he said.
He ridiculed Naidu for turning emotional in the assembly and shedding crocodile tears for the sake of Amaravati.
“Why didn’t you become emotional in a similar manner when people died of cholera in Guntur?“ he asked.

Take Money and Vote for Janasena: Pawan
In a shocking remark, Pawan Kalyan too spoke in the same tone, manner of YSRCP’s Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Although general elections are far ahead, Pawan has begun his political campaign of his party at the Jana Sena Maha Sabha, the formation day of the party, held in Guntur.
“Take money from candidates who distribute. Not just Rs 2000, if possible take Rs 5000. But vote for Janasena,” said Pawan. What is striking is that YS Jagan too made similar remarks earlier during 2014 polls, Nandyal by election. Pawan’s speech reminisced Jagan to many. This is not all.
Asking the people of all walks of life such as students, youth, women,senior citizens, Pawan asked everyone to vote only for Janasena in the coming elections. Pawan said that he would give tickets to young, sincere, hard working youth to contest elections from his party.
Showcasing sympathy on physically challenged people, Pawan announced to provide house, employment security and if needed a helper to physically challenged. Pawan also smartly raised the issue of his daughter, son who are Christians. Stating that he doesn’t have any such favouritsm towards any caste or religion, Pawan also specially mentioned Muslim youth. He promised them of taking care of them.
With this, Pawan has sent a strong signal to all sections of people in AP to vote only for Janasena in the next general elections, stating that he is not for CM post but for people. However, one has to see whether people believe in Pawan or not.
