Watch Big News Big Debate : TRS Vs Congress
Even After Sleeping With Them, Telugu Girls Are Looked Down
“If we don’t sleep with producers and directors, there is no way Telugu girls will get offers here” affirms actress Sri Reddy Mallidi alias Srilekha, who has appeared in films like A Film By Aravind 2, talking about the situation in Tollywood regarding the hyped ‘casting couch’. She says it upright, yes there is casting couch and it is so stronger.
“There are instances where some directors said that a film is stalled after sleeping with him. Some demand that we need to sleep with producer and cameraman also, in order to get the opportunity. In the end, they give a single scene. Even after sleeping with them, Telugu girls are looked down” she stressed, as she spoke about the poor situations flourishing in Tollywood.
She added, “That’s the reason why many Telugu girls don’t come to the industry. That’s why there are not many Telugu heroines here. Only those who get crumpled between the bed sheets will get chances here. I know this is the case about many big heroines but won’t reveal them on camera”. she added.
Talking about her hottest posts on social media where she indulges in huge skin show, Sri Reddy says it is her way to grab attention. “Why wouldn’t I eat well if not for the hottest body? Why would I expose so much skin in my pictures if not to grab chances? But, where are offers for me? They won’t give”, she remarks.
She confirmed that many Telugu heroines are maintaining diet, sexy physique and also getting trained in acting but still our big heroes like Pawan Kalyan or anyone is not offering them a single chance. We have to see how Tollywood responds to her outburst.
KCR Throws Komatireddy From Assembly, Permanently!
Taking serious note of the assault on Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud in the Assembly, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao debarred Congress MLAs – Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and SA Sampath Kumar from the assembly. The two MLAs membership were annulled with immediate effect. Government also stopped providing facilities they entitled as legislators.
On KCR’s instructions, Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary expelled the two Congress MLAs permanantly from the assembly. Shocked over KCR’s decision, Komatireddy and Sampath launched 48 hour hunger strike at TPCC head office Gandhi Bhavan. The Congress is working out to approach court and get stay orders on the expulsion of its two legislators.
The investigation into the attack on the council chairman had revealed that Sampath and Komatireddy threw mics on the speaker’s podium with an intention to hurt them physically. After seeing the video footage, KCR has come to a conclusion to take a serious disciplinary action against the two congress leaders.
Ex Heroine Confirms, No Romance With Varma
From last two days, news got intensified that a senior heroine’s daughter is debuting through one of the most hyped remakes. But finally, the senior heroine herself gave clarity that there is no such thing happening.
Critically acclaimed box office hit “Arjun Reddy” is being used as the launch pad for star hero Vikram’s son Dhruv in Kollywood. He’s already started shooting for this movie and the makers are looking for the girl to reprise the role of Shalini Pandey. From a time, they are failing to find one as many beautiful actresses are rejecting the idea of those kisses and hugs.
Other day it surfaced that former heroine Gauthami’s daughter Subhalaxmi is making her silver screen debut with this film titled “Varma”. While many are thinking that yet another heroine is introducing her successor, Gauthami clarified that there is nothing much. She took to Twitter to clarify, “Taken aback to see news about my daughter’s acting debut. Subhalaxmi is committed to her studies and has no plans for acting now. Thank you all for your blessings on her”.
So for now, there is no girl finalised yet to romance Varma.
Pic Talk: Vaani Weaves Mystic Magic
Whether it is slipping into two-pieces on the silver screen and finding herself in sexy pieces of lingerie for magazine shoots, curvaceous Bollywood siren Vaani Kapoor always sounds tall. And as she unveils her oomph factor again for this month’s Maxim Magazine.
Four years ago when Vaani splashed her hotness on cover pages of Maxim and FHM, we’ve noticed her innate charms that could squeeze hearts. Even now, she exudes similar sex appeal as she slips into a designer bra and flaunts her sleek body. Undoubtedly she is weaving that mystic magic despite the fact that she’s yet to see a box office success.
Though Vaani got super attention from movies like Shudh Desi Romance and for her uber hot appearance in Befikre, a blockbuster is eluding her, thereby depriving her some big offers. We have to see if these photo shoots will do any luck to her.
At least if Nani’s “Aha Kalyanam” had been a hit, Vaani would have tested her fortunes in Tollywood.
Centre Hints, No Railway Zone To AP!
Rubbing salt on the wounds of the people of Andhra Pradesh who were denied Special Category Status along with whole host of things, the Centre is now on the verge of ruling out Special Railway Zone to Visakhapatnam in AP. Indicating that the Special Railway Zone too is not possible, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba on Monday said that the demand was not feasible. This comes as a major blow to AP including the BJP’s AP unit who had been making tall claims of bringing Railway Zone to the state.
Rajiv Gauba made it clear that the feasibility reports were against to the setting up of a separate railway zone at Visakhapatnam that was committed in the 13th Schedule of the AP Reorganisation Act – the Act passed by the Indian Parliament. Rajiv also quoted that the Railway Board is against to the proposal of separate railway zone to AP. However, Rajiv said that the final call would be taken by the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
As per the proposal, the special railway zone could be established by clubbing Waltair, Vijayawada, Guntur and Guntakal divisions with Visakhapatnam as the head quarters.
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, who is an ally of BJP, has also assured his state several times that a railway zone would definitely be established. Even BJP’s AP leaders have been stating that the railway zone would be reality. But the latest remarks of Union Home Secretary come as a rude shock. Either this could be drama of BJP to show that something was accorded to AP though it is not feasible or this could be an attempt to really rule out the railway zone to AP. Let’s wait and see.
Pawan Kalyan Sir, Shower Love On Telugu Girls Also
Actress Srilekha aka Sri Reddy Mallidi has taken the internet by a storm with her outburst on Telugu film Industry where she accused that many hardworking legends like Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu are now not taking care of Telugu native girls. Confirming that casting couch is quite prevalent here, she demanded what is Pawan Kalyan doing to Telugu girls.
“Pawan Kalyan sir, you die so much for Telugu language and these days you’re talking about it a lot. But you get non-Telugu heroines like Praneetha or someone else to sizzle in your films. You bring non-Telugu villains and technicians. Why don’t you make films with all Telugu people sir? Please help us. We’re in a poor situation. You give chances to Telugu girls such that it will inspire others” she said, demanding that Telugu biggies should change their mindset big time.
Talking more about non-state actresses, she questions, “Why our industry’s happening heroes need only busy heroines like Samantha or Tamanna? They have already dozens of films in their kitty. Why don’t you give us a chance? We are also fair, hot and we can act, but still, you don’t give us chances”.
Giving a clarity to Pawan Kalyan fans, she added, “I’m not blaming Pawan sir on his personal stuff or I don’t want to talk about his role as a politician. But being a film industry person who likes the Telugu language a lot, I would request him to help Telugu girls. Like he fights for the special status of AP, he should fight for us also. I will bow to your feet if you could stand for us, sir”.
Will Pawan Kalyan pay heed to this request? As he stated that he’s already quit the job as an actor, will his production ventures see Telugu girls as heroines? Or how will PK fans react to this actress as she mentioned about the repercussions she has to face like a Kathi Mahesh for touching Pawan’s topic? Let’s see!!
Ileana Breathes Fire Over Wrong Name
With sexy hip and sizzling looks, once upon a time, Ileana D’cruz ruled the Telugu industry. She acted with almost all the star heroes. But slowly, she lost her charm in Tollywood and made a move to Bollywood, where almost all of her films turned out to be disasters. She has been on news for the past few months, either for her controversial statements or spicy photographs.
Again, she took the limelight by giving a warning to a reporter in a recent press meet. Busy with the promotional activities of her upcoming Bollywood flick Raid at the moment, which stars Ajay Devgan in the lead, she’s touring various places. As a part of movie promotions, she interacted with the media and during the meet, one of the over-enthusiastic reporters fumbled by introducing her as Ileana D’Souza rather Ileana D’Cruz. That fumbling about her surname often happened with many, but this time she’s hurt. The reporter didn’t stop there, and invited Ajay Devgan with a prefix, ‘Superstar’, where he called Ileana with just her name.
Soon, the actress took the mic and told the reporter that he must know all the things in detail, as mixing up of names is quite embarrassing for them. Some felt that Ileana might have got angry really because for addressing Ajay as a superstar and not giving her any such superlative prefix.
Or should we look at this as an unexpected promotional tactic being used to garner hype for “Raid”?
‘Don’t Compare Me With Those Who Dance in Films’
Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Agrawal kicked a hornet’s nest in national politics with his “who used to dance and work in films” comment against senior heroine-turned-politician Jaya Bachchan. The criticism received was so scathing that BJP had to distance itself from his comments, calling them “improper and unacceptable”.
What’s agonizing BJP more is that Agrawal made those objectionable comments minutes after joining the Saffron party on Monday. He ditched Samajwadi Party (SP) and joined BJP on Monday. It was during his first speech as a BJP politician that he made those remarks.
He allegedly targeted Jaya Bachchan as SP had re-nominated her to Rajya Sabha over him. “I have been compared with those who dance and work in films,” Agrawal reportedly said.
BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra immediately shot down Agarwal’s comments and clarified that his party respects people from all fields and welcomes them in politics.
