Once again heroes of Mega family are going to clash at the box office. The release dates of ‘Tej I Love U’ and ‘Vijetha’ are confirmed on July 6th.

Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej is going through a lean phase and has pinned high hopes on ‘Tej I Love U’ which is a romantic entertainer.

On the other hand, ‘Vijetha’ marks the debut of Megastar’s son-in-law, Kalyaan Dhev. He has grabbed the attention with the teaser which was well received by the audience. The film’s plot which is a father-son sentiment might work in its favour.

Earlier Megastar has intervened in similar cases and sorted the things out. Will Chiru step in for one more time, we will get to know in coming days.

To keep her career spiced up all the time, milky beauty Tamanna took some bold decisions like acting in item songs when she’s turning little slow on grabbing heroine chances. With the Akkineni hero and his Co., feeling that they are pushing the release date much back with these delays, they are on the lookout for another star heroine who would come in their budget and allot dates immediately. Or we have to see if Tamanna will give dates in the coming days.

Naturally, all this is a major booster in giving him a push to act in a mega venture like Sye Raa. However, there is a little rumour doing rounds in Film Nagar. Well, according to it, megastar has been rather tired shooting for Sye Raa.

It is known that the temperatures have been really high for the past two months. To add to that, heavy make-up and the camera lights — all these did take a toll on megastar say unit members.

Though the weather has turned pleasant in the last couple of weeks, he is invariably tired, confide those in Film Nagar.

Though megastar does regular exercise and yoga, he is said to be taking regular breaks between scenes. Those on the sets say he is unable to shoot at a stretch, during which time, the unit is shooting other scenes.

Also, during the audio release function of Sai Dharam Tej, Chiranjeevi’s face looked a little swollen. Now one could not make out if it was part of his look for Sye Raa or if it has swollen for other reasons.

Whatever be the reason, it is time megastar took it easy and does a film in a year or two.

But the latest talk is that Chiranjeevi wants to complete Sye Raa by December and then move to Koratala Siva’s film immediately.

WASHINGTON: Superstar Salman Khan and a host of other Bollywood artists including Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Ranveer Singh and Prabhu Deva have been sued by an Indian-American promoter, which alleged that they refused to perform at a concert in the US despite having taken money from it.

The Vibrant Media Group in its lawsuit against the Bollywood artists and their agents Matrix India Entertainment Consultants Private Limited and Yashraj Films Private Limited alleged “breach of contract”.

According to the complaint, in 2013 the Vibrant Media Group had hired the artists to appear live and perform at the concert ‘Celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema’, which was to be held on September 1, 2013.

The show had to be cancelled as Salman Khan was unable to leave India due to legal troubles in Rajasthan. The Vibrant Media Group had agreed to postpone the event, the lawsuit said.

The Vibrant Media Group, according to the lawsuit, recently learned that Salman Khan and the other artists, instead of keeping their promise or even offer to return the deposits they had received for the performance. The lawsuit also mentions that the stars had agreed to perform with another promoter.

“All calls to Mr Khan, his agents, and other artists, for the return of the funds have gone unanswered,” the group said as it sought damages of at least USD 1 million.

According to the complaint, Vibrant Media paid more than USD 200,000 to Salman Khan in advance of the concert to be held at the Sears Centre in Chicago on September 1.

Katrina Kaif was paid USD 40,000 and Sonakshi Sinha USD 36,000. None of these funds have been returned, it alleged.

The lawsuit, filed by Chicago-based Vibrant Media Group before a Northern District Court of Illinois, Eastern Division on June 10, has been assigned to District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman.

Others sued by the promoter include superstar Akshay Kumar besides singers Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Usha Mangeshkar. (PTI)

Telugu Film hero Nagarjuna’s wife and Blue Cross founder Amala Akkineni angered the indiscriminate killing of stray dogs by Municipal authorities in Telangana.

She met Principal Secretary Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar at the official’s office and discussed about terminating the canines indiscriminately. She warned dog killing is a crime under Prevention of Cruelty to Animals act.

She suggested the government to take up sterilization of dogs to end the menace instead of killing them. Amala informed government her blue Cross organisation is also ready to extend support.

In an immediate response, the official said government will take firm steps to prevent killing of stray dogs and hire veterinary doctors and para veterinary staff and impart training to them on conduct of anti birth control surgeries and vaccination of dogs.

Despite debuting with a hyped film like “Hello”, newcomer heroine Kalyani Priyadarshan hasn’t got enough attention among audiences. But her gorgeous looks made her a sought-after actress in film circles.

In her next, Kalyani will be seen romancing Sharwanand under the direction of Sudheer Varma. We hear that after looking at her footage from Sharwa’s movie, Mega Menalludu has decided to get her onboard.
