‘Lady Amitabh’ To Counter Pawan Kalyan!
Telangana Congress has decided to utilise Vijayashanti’s film glamour and political charisma to counter Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan in Telangana.
Congress Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy entrusted Vijayashanti to take on Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan who launched Jana Yatra in Telangana for three days.
Vijayashanti, who has been staying away from active politics since 2014, will not only join actively in Congress Party activities but also target Pawan.
On the instructions of Uttam, lady Amitabh began her attack on Pawan and also targeted Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Vijayashanti wondered why KCR permitted Pawan to visit Telangana and imposed restrictions on the movement of other Telangana leaders and JAC leader M Kodandaram also. The leaders who fought for Telangana have been facing misrable conditions in Telangana under KCR rule.
KCR branded Pawan as anti Telangana force during the intensified Telangana movement. KCR took U turn on Pawan and helped the latter to promote anti Telangana party – Jana Sena in Telangana, she observed.
Development Index: India Ranks Below Pak
In an indigestible shock to India, the nation has ranked much below than its rival Pakistan in the terms of Inclusive Development Index of the World Economic Forum (WEF). India has been ranked at the 62nd place among emerging economies on an Inclusive Development Index, much below China’s 26th position and Pakistan’s 47th.
The neighbouring countries ranked above India include Sri Lanka (40), Bangladesh (34) and Nepal (22). The countries ranked better than India also include Mali, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Ghana, Ukraine, Serbia, Philippines, Indonesia, Iran, Macedonia, Mexico, Thailand and Malaysia.
The index takes into account the “living standards, environmental sustainability and protection of future generations from further indebtedness”, the WEF said.
It urged the leaders to urgently move to a new model of inclusive growth and development, saying reliance on GDP as a measure of economic achievement is fuelling short-termism and inequality.
Last year (2017), India was ranked 60th among 79 developing economies, as against China’s 15th and Pakistan’s 52nd position.
Norway is Top
Norway remains the world’s most inclusive advanced economy, while Lithuania again tops the list of emerging economies, the World Economic Forum (WEF) said while releasing the yearly index at Davos before the start of its annual meeting, to be attended by several world leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump.
Three Pillars
The 2018 index, which measures progress of 103 economies on three individual pillars — growth and development; inclusion; and inter-generational equity — has been divided into two parts. The first part covers 29 advanced economies and the second 74 emerging economies.
The index has also classified the countries into five sub-categories in terms of the five-year trend of their overall Inclusive Development Growth score — receding, slowly receding, stable, slowly advancing and advancing.
Of the three pillars that make up the index, India ranks 72nd for inclusion, 66th for growth and development and 44th for inter-generational equity.
Australia only non-European in Top 10
Small European economies dominate the top of the index, with Australia (9) the only non-European economy in the top 10. Of the G7 economies, Germany (12) ranks the highest. It is followed by Canada (17), France (18), the UK (21), the US (23), Japan (24) and Italy (27).
The top-five most inclusive emerging economies are Lithuania, Hungary, Azerbaijan, Latvia and Poland.
BRICS
Performance is mixed among BRICS economies, with the Russian Federation ranking 19th, followed by China (26), Brazil (37), India (62) and South Africa (69).
Can She Score First Hit After Arundhati?
We have seen some heroines who got ruled out from the T-Town after doing female-centric movies. It becomes hard for an actress to do commercial or other films after trying out a lady-oriented project. But one such talented actress who is now a diva in our industry despite doing such roles is none other than Anushka Shetty.
After debuting with Super movie as a glamour diva slowly she scored some normal hits at the start of her career. But then in 2009, Arundathi happened, but she still she continued with glamour roles. Devasena made a strong comeback after every failure but not with these solo-heroine movies. The likes of Panchakshari, Nagavalli, Size Zero and Rudramadevi didn’t run at the box office as expected. Though she went to become star heroine in Tollywood, she hasn’t scored any hits with female-oriented movies except Arundathi.
Right now Anushka is coming back with yet another female-centric horror thriller titled as Bhaagamathie which is gearing up to hit the silver screens on January 26th. Adding to her feast, initially, there are five other movies including Touch Chesi Choodu, Achari America Yatra, Tik Tik Tik, Dandupalyam 3 and Abhimanyudu in the race alongside her. But most of them steered their way out of this season, while a couple of dubbing films are coming.
In other words, Anushka is marking a solo release with Bhaagamathie. As the trailer has already received so much of positive buzz, can movie earn fortunes at the box office? Can Anushka score her second super hit lady-oriented movie after Arundhati?
Mega Kids Ditched Chiru And Joined Pawan?
Forget about all others out there, with the Mega family itself have nearly a dozen actors, what is their political inclination always remains a question. With Megastar Chiranjeevi continuing his journey with Congress party and Pawan Kalyan erecting his own Janasena Party, to which side the loyalties of Mega heroes remain now?
Though many mega heroes including Babai Naga Babu, Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam and Allu Arjun have earlier sounded like travelling with Chiranjeevi’s political idea, most of the time they maintained a neutral stand. But other day suddenly Mega fraternity turned into supporters of Janasena party as they wished Pawan Kalyan for his political tour in Telangana region.
Ram Charan posted his wishes for Babai on Facebook, while Varun Tej and Sai Dharam tweeted them.

If you could notice, all these tweets have commonly got the line “Jai Janasena” in common. Is this an indication that all the mega heroes are going Pawan Kalyan’s way? But we have to see what Allu family will do as there is no tweet or post from Allu brothers including Bunny and Sirish.
But in case of Mega kids supporting Pawan politically, should we now say that they have ditched Chiranjeevi? Or Chiru himself getting distanced from politics to make sure that his kin and kith would travel with brother Pawan? Only Mega family knows about it!!
No Skin Show From Rashi
When compared to the heroes, heroines these days are trying out some experimental roles. But the common point in almost all the heroines is the glamour. They compete with each other in terms of glamour show. One such talented beauty who is giving a tough competition to all the existing and emerging heroines is Rashi Khanna.
This Mumbai model made her grand Telugu debut with Oohalu Gusagusalaade. Though she grabbed attention with her graceful acting, she recently lost oodles of weight to stun fans with her charms. But it looks like Rashi doesn’t want to stick around with glamour roles all the time.
In the upcoming movie ‘Tholi Prema’ starring mega hero Varun Tej, which marks directorial debut of Venky Atluri, she will be seen in a cute role that wont let her flaunt any skin show. She is looking cute with her styling and spectatles and in the recent videos she hinted that her sweet and innocent looks will be a surprise in the film. Buzz is that, as they are using iconic title of Pawan’s super hit, they want even heroine to sound like Keerthi Reddy, where there will be only acting show but not teasing of glamour.
On the other hand, Rashi will be seen wearing a bikini in her Touch Chesi Chudu film with Ravi Teja. Instead of sticking to the same look, Rashi is nailing both glamorous and non-glamourous roles. Can she succeed in becoming a star heroine?
Trump Talks About Solving Immigration Issue Permanently
US President Donald Trump has said that he will work towards solving the Immigration issue for permanent once the government is funded. He asserted that he will keep the interests of US citizens while making a long-term deal on immigration.
“As I have always said, once the government is funded, my administration will work towards solving the problem of very unfair illegal immigration. We will make a long-term deal on immigration if, and only if, it is good for our country,” Trump said in a statement.
Trump’s comments came soon after the Democrats voted in the Senate to end the government shutdown, which lasted for three days. The Democrats agreed to have a debate with the Republicans on immigration issue in order to end the federal government shutdown.
Another Telugu Hero-Tamil Director Project
After Superstar Mahesh Babu and Balakrishna Nandamuri have recently teamed up with Tamil directors AR Murugadoss and KS Ravikumar respectively, another noted Telugu hero has given his nod to a Tamil director.
Macho hero Gopichand has agreed to do a film in the direction of Tamil director Thiru. Gopichand was said to be so impressed with the subject that he didn’t bother about giving green signal to a Tamil director, who hasn’t yet made a direct Telugu film. It is said to be a universal subject i.e. not curtailed by ‘nativity’ issues.
Thiru has made three films till date, all starring hero Vishal in lead role, and all three got dubbed in Telugu because of Vishal’s popularity. His film starring Gopichand would be his debut in Telugu. It will take long for the project to go on floors as both Gopichand and Thiru are busy with their prior commitments. Chakri Chigurupati, who produced “Okka Kshanam”, will bankroll this film.
Gopichand is currently shooting for an action entertainer in the direction of debutante, Chakri. Mehreen plays the female lead.
Superstar Planning Fourth Child?
Is Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan planning a fourth child? Discussions are happening thick and fast among fans and in media about SRK’s fourth child? So, what exactly made people discuss this topic, and is the ‘Chak De India’ star, who already has three kids, really thinking of extending his family further?
When SRK was recently shooting for his show “Ted Talks India Nayi Soch”, he needed to pronounce the word Akanksha (meaning- Hope). But, due to some reason, he couldn’t pronounce it correctly and had to take multiple retakes.
“I am fumbling with this name a lot and it’s embarrassing. I think I’m going to have a fourth child very soon and name her Akanksha,” SRK quipped.
In the end, it was just a joke, a testimony of SRK’s remarkable sense of humor to cover up his fumbling in pronouncing the specific word. All the exited fans can calm down now.
Godavari Girl Slams Bollywood Hero
Actress Neetu Chandra, who is best remembered for her cute character in Sekhar Kammula’s “Godavari”, has slammed young Bollywood hero Siddarth Malhotra for allegedly making fun of her mother tongue, Bhojpuri.
She vent out her anger against the hero with a tweet. Sharing a video clip of Malhotra from the Bigg Boss Hindi house where he allegedly made fun of Bhojpuri language, Neetu said that he should be ashamed of himself for making such derogatory comments against one of the most spoken languages in India.
“Shocked! How on earth does speaking Bhojpuri gives you a latrine feeling. Shame on you,” Neetu wrote in a direct tweet to Siddarth.
The young hero, who made an appearance in the Bigg Boss house to promote his upcoming film, “Aiyaary”, hasn’t yet responded to Neetu’s public outburst.
Pawan’s Yatra is KCR’s Gimmick
Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan, who is mocked by some political analysts in AP and YSRCP leaders as the ‘Agent of Chandrababu Naidu’, is now being accused as Telangana CM KCR’s political pawn.
On the day when Pawan started Praja Yatra with the blessings of Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy, from a temple located in Karimnagar, Telangana, OU JAC leaders fired all cylinders against him. Pointing out that he started this tour only a couple of days after meeting KCR, they called Pawan’s Yatra in Telangana as Telangana CM’s political gimmick.
‘Pawan is a political pawn being used by KCR to get back into power in 2019. If Pawan is so genuine, he should clarify whether he is going into public with the aim of highlighting KCR govt’s lapses or to sing his praises,’ a leader reportedly said.
Another JAC leader accused Pawan as a betrayer of Telangana. He questioned why Pawan never looked into the issues of Telangana after the bifurcation of the Telugu states unlike how proactively he took up the issues in AP.
