Rs 60 Lakh To LP For A Film Yet To Take Off?
Gossips in the film circles are like smoke without fire. Anybody can create any kind of rumour and spread it in the social media. If there is a masala in the gossip, it can go viral within no time.The latest rumour is that YSR Congress party leader Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi has received a remuneration of Rs 60 lakh from the producers for giving rights to make the film on her late husband legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N T Rama Rao.
The film titled “Lakshmi’s NTR” is based on the life of NTR after his second marriage with Lakshmi Parvathi.Maverick film maker Ram Gopal Varma, who came up with the idea and is supposed to direct the film, has also been paid Rs 3 crore as his remuneration, says the gossip doing rounds in the media circles.
This is really funny. First of all, nobody knows the fate of the film, as Varma himself has admitted that it is still a non-starter and is not his priority list.Secondly, his latest film Officer has bombed at the box office and no producer will ever dare to make a film with RGV as the director again.
Thirdly, the script is not yet ready and there are no efforts to identify the actors who would play the key roles. So, why would any producer burn his fingers by making such an attempt?Ironically, the news was picked up by a couple of English newspapers as well, much to the chagrin of Lakshmi Parvathi!
Telangana Guy Sends 9 Paisa Cheque To Modi
Ridiculing the drop in fuel prices that was in meagre paisa, a Telangana man has sent a cheque for 9 paisa to PM Narendra Modi. One Chandu Goud from the Telangana has handed over the 9 paisa cheque to Rajanna Sircilla district collector Krishna Bhaskar during Praja Vani programme and asked him to ensure that the cheque reaches Prime Minister’s relief fund. This is after the Telangana state witnessed 9 paisa cut in the petrol.
The fuel price said to have hit farmers most while they are bracing up for a new crop. Since farmers use diesel and petrol for their tractors, motors in fields, they are said to have hurt more with the steep hike in fuel prices.
Telangana collects a staggering 35.2 per cent VAT on petroleum products in the state which is also reason for its high price.
Across India, wide protests are done against the rise in fuel prices. While the fuel price is directly linked to international market price of the crude oil, the heavy duties laid by both the state government and the central government make the fuel prices touch sky in India. Ahead of 2019 polls, the rise in fuel prices is likely to have telling affect on the poll prospects of BJP.

Mega hero Varun Tej has shared an image of the Hollywood technicians who are working for his upcoming movie which is a space thriller.This technical crew have worked for films like Expandables 2, Troy, Zero Dark Thirty, Hercules, The Invisible and the blockbuster web series ‘Game Of Thrones’.
Zibek, Todor, Lazaeov (Juji) and Roman are highly experienced experts and for this film, they have done 3D scan on hero Varun Tej and actress Aditi Rao Hydari.The 3D scan technical aspect helps in recreating CG if there are any episodes to be done later. This Hollywood crew have wrapped up their work and Varun tweeted that it was a great working experience with them.
The makers are considering ‘Anthariksham’ as the title but are yet to take their final call.Sankalp Reddy is directing this space adventure while Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu are producing the movie under First Frame Entertainments banner.
Tamannaah as ‘That Is Mahalakshmi’
The Telugu version title of ‘Queen’ remake is announced as ‘That Is Mahalakshmi.’ This title is extracted from a song from the movie ‘100% Love.’Tamannaah is playing the lead role in the movie while the shooting is currently progressing in Mysore city.’Queen’ is being simultaneously shot in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages.
Actress Parul Yadav who is the lead of Kannada version, has celebrated her birthday on the sets.Actress Kajal Aggarwal and Tamannaah have greeted Parul on the occasion.Siddhu Jonnalagadda is essaying actor Rajkummar Rao’s role. Bollywood music composer Amit Trivedi is providing tunes and Mitchell is handling cinematography.

After By Polls Defeat, ‘Nervous’ BJP To Meet Allies
The united Opposition at the Kumaraswamy’s swearing-in ceremony has sent jitters down the spine of BJP’s top leaders. While the by-election results already come as a huge set back to Modi-Shah, BJP is making attempts to cool down its allies such as Shiv Sena who have been openly criticizing and hitting out at them.
Amit Shah will be meeting Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray tomorrow at his residence Matoshree and likely to persuade him ahead of 2019 parliamentary election. While Shiv Sena had been openly targeting BJP bitterly, it hasn’t quit from NDA whereas TDP had walked out.
Shiv Sena’s ties with BJP have severed a lot. Sena even announced that it would contest alone in 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Recently in the by-election in Maharashtra, Shiv Sena ‘hijacked’ Shriniwas Vanga – the son of late BJP MP Chintaman Vanga from Palghar – and gave him the party ticket for the May 28 Palghar Lok Sabha by-election.Angry BJP had inducted ex Congressman Rajendra Gavit and gave him the ticket, who defeated Shriniwas Vanga.
In a guarded initial reaction, Sena MP and spokesperson Sanjay Raut pointed out how the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners were not satisfied with the BJP and leaving it one by one.However, he refused to speculate whether the Sena would reconsider its often-repeated stance of going solo in all future elections and pointed out that the party did extremely well and showed its strength in Palghar that it contested for the first time ever.
As of now, the differences between BJP and Shiv Sena are wide. But one has to wait and see whether Amit Shah put an end to them by convincing Uddhav. Post his meet with Shiv Sena’s Uddhav, Amit Shah is expected to meet Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) supremo Parkash Singh Badal in Punjab in the next few days.
All Stories Leading To #RRR Only
If a big film is coming up, then surely there will be a huge buzz around it. And one such magnanimous project is none other than #RRR, featuring Rajamouli, Ram Charan and Rama Rao in the main roles of director and actors.Ever since this project is announced, there are various stories doing rounds about the story of this film. To date there are three interesting storylines being heard. Here are they.
Firstly it is said that the film revolves around boxing championship. Both NTR and Charan are likely to appear as friends and the way they lead through the top to win a boxing championship is all about it. Though NTR developed new muscles, it’s said that Arvinda Sametha is not his target but he has grown body for Rajamouli’s movie only. Later another story came up that Ram Charan and NTR are brothers, while Charan plays the sincere cop, his brother Tarak will be seen as a dreaded gangster. This is an age-old Telugu formula where one brother is the hero and the other one is a villain.
Recently it is being rumoured that Rajamouli is sticking around to his favourite rebirth concept. Some say that the story is related to rebirths theory, explored well by Rajamouli previously in Eega and Magadheera, and will feature NTR and Charan in exchanged roles after a rebirth.So, which story is real in the case of #RRR from all the above? Only Rajamouli knows it for now, as Ram Charan and Rama Rao also didn’t hear the story yet.
NTR Rejected Attarintiki Daredi Fight?
Director Trivikram is sticking to one particular template when it comes to delivering his trademark entertainers at the box office. And he will be sticking to certain scenes, action sequences and elevation packages for the story.
We have seen this wizard of words coming up with stylish fights in movies like Khaleja, S/o Satyamurthy and Attarintiki Daredi too. Heroes make use of some element, object or a style to do the fighting. And naturally, Trivikram is dependent on visual effects team to assist him in that. But when he planned similar fight for Aravinda Sametha, we hear that Jr NTR asked the director to change it.
Reports have that the new fight envisioned by Trivikram is more close to the ‘aviator glasses’ fight composed for Pawan Kalyan in Attarintiki Daredi. In that sequence, Pawan beats the goons without allowing the spectacles to fell down. With Aravinda Sametha fight also sounding similar, NTR is said to have asked to change it.
In the upcoming schedule, a lengthy one, they are going to cane a new fight sequence as per the request of NTR. Well, inputs from star heroes sometimes work like miracles. Hope one for #AravindaSametha!!
Chandrababu Beats Pawan & Jagan On Twitter
Ever since AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu started raising his voice against the ruling BJP government at the Centre, on thing is happening in a big way. Yes, his Twitter following is growing enormously these days.
Naidu has now reached a landmark, with 4 Million people following him on his official Twitter account ‘@ncbn’. Apparently, this account was opened by him in 2009 when he’s an opposition leader and since then he’s taking it to talk about government’s welfare schemes, governance, his opinion on different matters and also to criticise his detractors.
Only Pawan Kalyan is the closest rival to AP CM on Twitter with 3.03 million followers, while Opposition leader YS Jagan is nowhere in the scene with just 697K followers. And other popular TDP leaders like Nara Lokesh and Galla Jayadev are currently holding 459K and 244K followers, which is way less than the number of followers Jagan has on Twitter.
Trends indicate that Chandrababu will be reaching some other big milestones in the number of follower base on Twitter very soon. If we look at other incumbent CMs in India, we have Arvind Kejriwal (13.0 Million), Manohar Parikkar (6.29 M), Shivraj Singh Chouhan (4.74 M) and Nitish Kumar (4.33 M) ahead of AP CM.
