That Comedian Used Pawan, This One NTR
Surely comedians will click as heroes provided the fact that they are back by a good script and terrific writing. If that is not happening, then the dream of becoming a dependable hero will be a nightmare.
Though Sunil has burnt hands big time in the recent years, few other comedians who have lesser stardom than him are also trying their luck at becoming a hero. Firstly we got Saptagiri who has come up with the film “Saptagiri Express”. Not only he got Pawan Kalyan for the audio launch event, but also he used ‘mega’ references inside the film too. Yet, the film didn’t work at the box office.
Now we have Shakalaka Shankar also turning up the protagonist with the movie “Driver Ramudu”. A look at the trailer says that Shankar is imitating Senior NTR a lot and it seems like he wants to win the support of Nandamuri fans big time. Rather depending on content, if a wannabe hero depends on fans this way, will the film work at the box office?
In the past, no such film worked out, but we have to see if Shakalaka Shankar will achieve target while his fellow comedian Saptagiri failed to do so.

Netizens are going head over heels on Pawan’s fresh comments about caste. A few memes, cartoons on Pawan and his remarks are being widely circulated by his political critics in whats-app groups and FB pages. It all started when Pawan had said he or his party has no affiliation to any caste.
Whereas netizens and socially-active citizens are found his remarks contradictory to his actions. It is alleged that most of Pawan’s team belong to his own community – Kapu. This has now became online.

Trailer Talk: Mowgli Is Back!
These are the days where Hollywood movies are running pretty well at the Indian box office and getting released on the same day of their original. The recent success of films like Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2 are pretty good examples, and the way audiences are waiting for Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom, adds to it.
Here comes another interesting treat, Warner Bros “Mowgli”, which happens to be the story of an infant who lost into an Indian forest and makes friends with Panther and the Ballu. Other day, this film’s trailer released and much to anyone’s shock, every visual is exactly something like we have seen two years ago. Yes, “Mowgli” looks like a spin-off of Walt Disney’s “The Jungle Book” that released in 2016.
While the lead actor in “The Jungle Book” is little younger in age, here in “Mowgli” he looks little older. Apart from that, all the characters, scenes and confrontations are pretty same. Especially the monkey-temple scene and the one where the snake meets Mowgli are pretty much duplicates. The irony is that shooting of “Mowgli” started much earlier than “The Jungle Book” but Disney walked out with the first live-action movie. It looks like Hollywood studios are actually running out of stories.
Anyway, with “The Jungle Book” collecting almost 1 Billion dollars at the box office, we have to see if “Mowgli” will get similar reception as the story and scenes are pretty similar. Both these films are based on Rudyard Kipling’s The Jungle Book stories only.

Warning! Don’t Play Politics In The Name Of Srivaaru
The moment Tirumala temple’s chief priest is out in public, making allegations against some fellow priests, immediately some political leaders saw an opportunity to politicise the whole issue. And then, some media houses that are backed by the support of big parties that opposed Telugudesam have jumped into the scene, making a mockery of Andhra Pradesh government, calling them as corrupt people selling ornaments of Srivaaru. Here is what they have to understand first.
Almost all the devotees of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy believe that anyone who toys around with Tirumala temple and its affairs in a bad way, generally end up facing the wrath of the divine. And they are advising biggies and other political leaders who are making a ruckus of TTD’s affairs to slow down and choose their words carefully as the Holy God is watching everything from above.
They say: Couple of decades ago, a Minister touched the holy idol of Sri Vaaru in an excitement that his political career is flourishing and in three days he breathed his last. Later a big politician tried to poke his nose into the Mirasi system and in no time he lost power. When a political honcho tried to sell off one of Swami’s holy hills, in no time he perished from this world. Later a political scion made his followers praise him in the sacred premises of Tirumala temple and he got a great stroke from people in the following election. Whoever fiddles and muzzles with Tirumala and its guardian Balaji with their ill-heart surely invite his wrath and get punished as per their beliefs.
Devotees believe that Lord Balaji is the one who helps poor and needy in various ways by hearing a single prayer from them. But at the same time, he will not be sparing these greedy politicians and analysts who want to make fun of his temple’s affairs. In case if Telugudesam government has really done something, then they will surely pay the price. But if others are digging it and slinging unwanted mud intentionally, then they will be paying the price, is what some firm believers of Lord Balaji say. “Srivaaritho Paraachikaalu Vaddu”, they say, on a concluding note.
YSR Biopic: She Refused To Do That Character
Whenever there is a buzz, “Yaatra” team is quick to clarify about that, as they don’t want the gossip to take lead. And now, they have stated that Pawan Kalyan’s heroine was never their option for any role in the movie.
We are talking about that biopic movie on late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, which is being made by director Mahi V Raghav. While Mallu superstar Mammootty is roped in to play YSR, Posani will be playing the role of Sureedu and Rao Ramesh will be seen as soulmate friend KVP Ramachandra Rao. But a buzz indicated that Pawan Kalyan’s Kushi fame Bhumika will be playing YSR’s daughter Sharmila role.
Director Mahi claimed that they never felt Bhumika suitable for any role in the movie and not even approached her. And the director clarified that there is no role of Sharmila at all in the movie. But film industry insiders have something else to say about this.
It’s heard that they approached Bhumika to play a crucial role in the movie which appears just for 10 minutes at the beginning of the film. And the role will be having just a single dialogue probably like giving haarathi to YSR before his Paada Yaatra takes off. And Bhumika is said to have refused to play such simple character.
Title Poster: Mega Alludu Is ‘Vijetha’
It’s well known that Megastar Chiranjeevi’ son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev is going to make his silver screen debut with a romantic drama. The film’s interesting title poster was unveiled this morning and the film is titled as “Vijetha”. Incidentally, Vijetha is also the title for Chiranjeevi’s 1985 super hit sports drama.
However, Kalyaan Dhev’s Vijetha is not a sports drama. The makers gave the title a new twist with the caption “Lighting Up Smiles On Others’ Faces Is Also A Success”. Rakesh Sashi is the director of Vijetha and Sai Korrapati is the producer. Yevade Subramanyam actress Malavika Nair is the heroine in the movie.
