When Pawan Examined Feet Of A Farmer

Call it responsibility or caring nature, Janasena President Pawan Kalyan is slowly winning hearts of voters with the way he’s interacting with them during his ongoing “Poraata Yatra”. And a sight when he met farmers who sustained injuries during their agitation against thermal power project in Sompeta, has literally stunned everyone.

After assuring his support to farmers and fishermen of Sompeta in their fight against the alleged environmental destruction, Pawan examined the leg of one farmer Guruvaiah who got injured by a rubber bullet shot by police when he agitated sometime back. And in a split second, the scene was captured in a frame and it became news all over just like that.

For a powerful superstar on the silver screen, this is something you don’t expect to see in real life. Pawan is however quite different. Also, he paid tributes to the martyrs at “Thermal Porata Stupam’ who have lost their lives during the fight against the proposed thermal power project by Nagarjuna Construction Company.

Sad thing is that, the company is said to be turning the land they acquired into ‘aqua farming’ now, regarding which farmers sought Pawan’s support to sort out.

Then came the news of Teja joining the cast and crew of ‘NTR’, the biopic of legendary NT Rama Rao, being produced by Nandamuri Balakrishna. Despite praising Balayya and the project in a big way, Teja walked out of this film due to reasons that are best known to him.

Then there is news that Teja will work with Rana Daggubati as the duo felt joining hands yet again for an action entertainer this time. Even before this project took off, there was news of Uday Kiran’s biopic everywhere and Teja is said to have registered the title ‘Kaboye Alludu’. But the director has simply rubbished the reports. And now, the buzz is coming out that, even Teja-Rana film is cancelled.

A report has that Teja is looking forward to impress Varun Tej with a new script and he got an appointment of the hero. If all goes well, this will be a entry for the talented director into mega camp.

Fierce Attack: Naidu Demands Modi’s Answer To His Question

Chandrababu Naidu unleashed a fierce attack on PM Narendra Modi who betrayed the people of AP by ignoring all the promises made to the people of Andhra during 2014 polls. Questioning Modi at his Dharma Porata Sabha, Vizag against the ‘Betrayal – Conspiracy Politics’ of the BJP, Naidu said he is willing to give up his life but wouldn’t compromise with BJP on the causes of AP.

Starting from Special Category Status to Special Railway Zone to Vizag, Naidu raised several demands from the dais of Dharma Porata Sabha. Publicly questioning BJP that why is it giving all such benefits to other states but ignoring only AP, Naidu said it’s high time people should fight against the Centre over its gross injustcie meted out to the successor state. Naidu said why Special Railway Zone has not been given to Vizag yet despite having 4 divisions. He also accused Union Government for not disbursing funds to AP and the Central Universities to be set up in the state.

Raising his strong pitch, Chandrababu questioned whether the Telugu people are not paying their taxes and said then why were they looked down by Modi & his government. Naidu demanded an explanation from Narendra Modi over denying the Special Category Status to AP. “Modi has to explain to the people of Andhra Pradesh that why his government went back on its promise of according Special Category Status to AP,” said CM Chandrababu who indicated that Prime Minister should respond to a question posed by the Chief Minister of a state.

Praising the farmers of Amaravati who gave their lands for the government through land pooling, Chandrababu said farmers have given 33,000 acres of land trusting his words. Whereas he alleged that the Centre is creating all hurdles for the progress of capital city and the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Chandrababu took credit for the interlinking of Krishna and Godavari rivers through Pattiseema. He said how he has been working hard to protect the interests of the state whereas he alleged that the Centre is not supporting and creating hurdles for him.

Talking about Polavaram National Irrigation Project, he said it is his dream to complete the Polavaram Project and assured that he would fulfill the dream as well. Listing out all the irrigation projects, Naidu said Vamsadhara project is being completed at fast pace. He also said the interlinking of Vamsadhra-Nagavali is under the process. Chandrababu also promised of supplying water to all the lands in Visakhapatnam district without any compromise.

“Don’t Visakhapatnam need a Metro Rail? They had promised and went back on all the promises. The Centre had agreed to give financial assistance to the backward districts of Andhra Pradesh and cheated Andhra Pradesh people by not keeping the promise,” said an emotional Chandrababu.

Naidu has given a call to the people of Andhra Pradesh to defeat BJP and its supportive parties in next elections to teach them a strong lesson. He said already Telugu people have shown their power and strength in Karnataka. Naidu didn’t spare the Opposition parties who are acting at the behest of BJP. He asked people to take care of all such parties.

Throughout the speech, Naidu interacted with the audience by asking them to repeat what he said or asking their response on his question whether ‘yes’ or ‘no’. After big success of Tirupati Sabha, Naidu’s second public meeting in Vizag also scored brownie points. With large gathering and good show of crowd, impressive speeches by Naidu, Lokesh and thunderous response from crowd, on the whole, the Vizag Sabha is a grand success.

K’taka is Just Trailer, Full Picture is in 2019

Nara Lokesh has sharpened his speeches. In his latest speech at the Dharma Porata Sabha against the ‘Betrayal – Conspiracy Politics’ of the Centre, Lokesh said that what happened to BJP in Karnataka was just a trailer and a full cinema would be seen in 2019. He said Telugu voters in Karnataka have voted against BJP upon AP CM Chandrababu Naidu’s plea. He said Telugu voters have played huge role in stopping BJP coming to power by reducing their majority.

Going back into the past, Lokesh said TDP had collaborated with BJP in 2014 hoping that the new government at the Centre would help AP, but in vain. In a scathing attack, Lokesh said BJP can’t even win at least 10 Panchayat seats in AP. Referring to BJP MLAs and MLCs, Lokesh said TDP had made them MLAs and MLCs although when they can’t even win as corporators. Lokesh said TDP has stood by the Mitra Dharma and accused BJP of backstabbing TDP by joining hands with ‘Thieves’ (YSRCP).

Besides attacking BJP and YSRCP, Lokesh also read out the list of activities and achievements of Chandrababu Naidu. He said Naidu has waived off Rs 24,000 Crore crop loans. He also said the present government has increased pension by multiple times and is providing to nearly half-crore of population. He said the state government is also introducing stipend to unemployed youth very soon. Lokesh said 16,000 kms of CC roads have been laid in AP in the last three years and he said he is proud of such rapid development as IT & Panchayat Minister.

Referring to Pawan’s previous comments, Lokesh challenged anyone who accuses him of corruption should come up with the proofs/evidences. He reiterated that he would never bring ‘bad’ name to his father Chandrababu Naidu and grandfather NTR. “My age is 30 and I’ll continue in politics for another 40 years. I don’t know whether I would earn a big name like my father and grandfather, but definitely, I’d not bring a bad reputation to them,” said Nara Lokesh.

Lokesh said TDP would win all the 25 MP seats in 2019 general elections. He said Chandrababu Naidu is working very hard at the age of 68, but accused BJP of cheating and betraying him as well as the state.Overall, Lokesh’s speech has cracked some fireworks.

Defamation suit against Deekshitulu, IYR?

Share

If the reports coming from the corridors of power in Amaravati are to be believed, the Andhra Pradesh government headed by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has decided to file civil and criminal defamation cases against retired head priest of Tirumala temple A V Ramana Deekhsitulu for making wild allegations against the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and the state government.

A decision to this effect was reportedly taken at the high level meeting of Naidu with the TTD officials and trust board chairman held to look into the allegations made by Ramana Deekshitulu.

The chief minister was particularly peeved with the reports that Deekshitulu had complained to Union home minister Rajnath Singh and asked for a CBI probe into the TTD affairs.

The cases, however, would be filed by the TTD and not the AP government as such.It is learnt defamation cases would also be filed against former chief secretary I Y R Krishna Rao and also a national television channel which carried an interview with Ramana Deekshitulu.

Apparently, Naidu realised that the allegations by Deekhsitulu are all set to snowball into a national issue and if some serious action was not taken, it would damage the prestige of the country’s richest temple. He asked TTD Executive officer Anil Kumar Singhal and Chairman Putta Sudhakar Yadav to put the records straight with regard to funds, jewellery and temple rituals.

He asked them to see that there were no complaints from devotees and also religious heads like Jeeyars with regard to any of the rituals.Naidu also asked the TTD authorities to be ready with all the necessary documents and records to face any legal issues.

Singhal told media later that the TTD had already released the list of jewellery of Lord Venkateswara prepared in 1952.“We are ready to display the jewels to dispel doubts expressed by Deekhsitulu,” he said.

Answering a question on future course of action the EO said that the Board would initiate action as per law.“There were some new allegations and issued raised in the last two days, which need to be looked into,” he said.

KCR Pleases JD (S), Avoids Cong!

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is a shrewd politician, who can change his strategies depending on his political exigencies. It has once again been proved on Tuesday when he sought to please Janata Dal (S), a key partner in his federal front plan, without having to attend the swearing-in ceremony of JD (S) leader H D Kumara Swamy on Wednesday.

Even as the media persons and political pundits were keeping their fingers crossed on whether KCR would attend Kumara Swamy’s oath taking ceremony, he suddenly decided to flow down to Bengaluru on Tuesday evening itself to congratulate the CM-designate. He left for the Karnataka capital in a special flight in the evening.

A statement from the chief minister’s office said KCR left for Bengaluru to congratulate Kumara Swamy personally on his swearing-in as new Karnataka CM on Wednesday.

“In view of important engagements on Wednesday, the chief minster will return to Hyderabad on Tuesday night itself,” the statement said.Obviously, KCR was not interested in attending the ceremony, because it was essentially a Congress-dominated government in Karnataka, though technically Kumara Swamy will be the chief minister.

Moreover, he would have to share the dais with Congress bosses Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, whom he does not want to face. But since KCR does not want to displease JD (S) leaders by avoiding the swearing-in ceremony, he has decided to go to Bengaluru a day in advance to greet Kumara Swamy. What an idea KCR ji!

RGV Not to be Taken Seriously: Ravi Teja

Share

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is frank and open-minded in answering all queries related to his profession and personal life. The 50-year-old actor also implied that Ram Gopal Varma’s tweets should not be taken seriously.

Ravi Teja’s quite honest answers surprised the media persons. He was talking to media promoting his latest release ‘Nela Ticket’.

He agrees that his previous movie ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ sank without trace, but he is quite sure that previous flops don’t affect the prospects of his upcoming movies. He is quite confident of his current release ‘Nela Ticket’.

However, it is his answer about RGV-Pawan Kalyan’s controversy that has become discussion point. Pawan Kalyan attended the event of ‘Nela Ticket’ recently and he was caught playing with threads of Ravi Teja’s torn jeans.

Posting this video on his Twitter handle, RGV said he wasn’t aware of ‘the other side’ of Pawan Kalyan.

When media persons brought up this topic, Ravi Teja said he doesn’t care what people think and what is written as Pawan Kalyan was doing it while they were cracking jokes. It was just camaraderie between two friends, he stressed.

If people write nonsense, I don’t respond, Ravi Teja said sternly implying he doesn’t take RGV much seriously.

Nithin Picks Another Director Of Pawan Kalyan

Share

Not just an ordinary Pawan Kalyan fan, but he’s the one who could invite the matinee idol to his film functions. Also, he uses his references inside the song, remixes of his songs and gets titles for his films from Pawan’s songs’ lyrics. Yes, we are talking about Nithin only.

Some back to back disasters has stunned Nithin in the recent times including films like “LIE” and “Chal Mohan Ranga” that became utter flops. But he’s now looking forward to bouncing back big time with Dil Raju’s “Srinivasa Kalyanam” which is being carved by Satamanam Bhavati fame Satish Vegesna. And here comes another interesting film of this young hero.

Like we said already, he’s now grabbing a director of Pawan Kalyan. Reports have that he will work with Kishore Pardasany (Dolly) who has directed Pawan Kalyan in movies like Katamarayudu and Gopala Gopala. Earlier Nithin worked with Pawan’s directors like Puri Jagan, Karunakaran and Trivikram.

Well, whether it is Pawan’s song, lyric or director, everything lies in the content that is picked up. Let’s hope Nithin is striking the right chords now rather just looking at brand values.
