The year-end reviews and new year predictions published by many leading national media houses always end up getting criticised for something or the other. This time, a popular news daily that is quite known for its bang-on analysis of any scenario in the country face the heat. That too from Pawan Kalyan’s fans.

Popular Magazine has come up with the topic ‘Trends For 2018’ in their latest issue of the tabloid. While talking about southern politics in one particular essay aimed at South India, the magazine called it rise of the stars including Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan and Upendra foraying into politics.

What is so surprising about this article is, it consists only a few lines catered to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, two southern states that are quite crucial in changing the political scenario in 2019. Also while talking about all other above actors, there is no mention of Pawan Kalyan or his Janasena party here, which is a shocker.

At the same time, the analysis mentioned that later NTR’s grandson is likely to foray into politics and that would upset both BJP and other parties. In that case, they are talking about Jr NTR who is already staying away from politics after 2014 elections.

Admirers of Pawan Kalyan are now saying that this article is written with pure ignorance about the situation in Andhra Pradesh. While some stated that Pawan’s name is intentionally ignored, it can’t be true, because the article sounds like an anti-BJP rhetoric and that would surely invite Pawan’s name who is more becoming a prick in the seat as Modi is shedding crocodile tears for Andhra Pradesh.

What will happen to the political fate of Superstar Rajnikanth is the major debate across all circles right away. As the Superstar announced his intention to venture into politics by launching his own party, the battleground is getting ready in Tamilnadu for 2019 elections.

The moot question that comes to anyone’s mind by looking at Rajni is if he will succeed like a MGR and Jayalalitha or tumble like Chiranjeevi and Vijaykanth. Secondly, PRP battled the election on its own without any support from any national party and that proved quite tough for Chiranjeevi as there is no advice nor any logistic support. But when it comes to Rajni, there are plenty of rumours that BJP is supporting him from the outside to take Tamilnadu by a storm.

To sum up, had Chiranjeevi waited like a Rajni until AP’s breakup with Telangana, definitely PRP would have a got a chance to form a government in 2014. But he hurried for a ‘Samajika Nyayam’ in Congress and that created all the troubles for his political journey. Now that Rajni has waited for this long for the right time, maybe he will get a chance to clean sweep Tamil states. Let’s wait and watch.

For those who have been clueless and confused about Prabhas’ Bollywod debut, here is a shocking confession from the ‘Baahubali’ star himself. In a recent interview, Prabhas reportedly confirmed that he had okayed a script, a love story, three years ago itself and that he will make his Bollywood debut with that film, his immediate next film after Saaho.

“I watch a lot of Hindi films. I live in Hyderabad, where 60 per cent of the people speak Hindi. I am getting good offers from Bollywood. I had okayed a script three years ago. It is a love story that I will do post Saaho,” Prabhas reportedly revealed in an interview. He hasn’t revealed anything about who the director and producer are.

Now, this came as a huge shocker, didn’t it? He left everyone surprised and confused by not divulging anything more about his bollywood debut. Fans wonder if he had signed a Hindi film three years ago itself, why had he not revealed it until now, despite being asked about his Bollywood debut in the hundreds of interview he gave over the last two years.

According to reliable reports, Prabhas is supposed to do a love story in the direction of Radha Krishna of ‘Jil’ fame after “Saaho”. The one-film director even officially announced the film on social media couple of months ago. Prabhas signed this film very long ago.

If we read in between Prabhas’ statements, he could be hinting that the love story to be directed by Radha Krishna will be made as a true-blue Hindi film, his Bollywood debut. Or Prabhas could have signed a Hindi film with a Bollywood production house, ‘signed three years ago’ is the catchphrase here.

Meanwhile Prabhas’ North Indian fans are excited with the thought of watching the action star of ‘Baahubali’ as a romantic guy.

Ever since T-series launched a legal complaint against the makers of Agnyaathavaasi over the allegations of copying from French film Largo Winch whose Indian remake rights are with the T-series, the news spread like wild-fire.

With there are some startling similarities between both the plots and some shots in the film’s teaser, there is a lot of chaos among Pawan’s fans.

Amidst this, the film has been censored and passed with UA. However, unfazed T-series has moved legally seeking to stop Agnyaathavaasi’s release on Jan 10 till their issue is resolved.

In order to solve this, the makers of Agnyaathavaasi may show their film to T-series. And the director of original Largo Winch, Jerome Salle may join the screening. However, it is not clear, but Salle’s tweet is adding fuel to those speculation.

Salle wrote, “I think I’m gonna buy a ticket (plane first than movie) #Curiosity #Agnyaathavaasi #LargoWinch.”
This is clear that Salle is very keen to know whether Agnyaathavaasi is inspired or copied from his 2008 film or not.

Currently taking a break from work to tour various desert nations including Oman and UAE, Superstar Mahesh will join the next schedule of “Bharat Anu Nenu” from January 7th most likely. This Koratala Siva’s directorial will be hitting cinemas in the coming Summer. Before this release itself, Mahesh will move to his next project, a landmark film.

Successful director Maruthi, who has become a specialist in churning out ‘clean’ family and youth entertainers, is heard to be mixing a proven formula and a novel point for his next film starring Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel and Ramya Krishna.

Tentatively titled, ‘Sailaja Reddy Alludu’, the film is said to be inspired from Nagarjuna’s 90s super hit film, “Allari Alludu”. Featuring Nagma and Meena as female leads, the 1993 film had yesteryear heroine, Vanisri essaying the character of Nag’s ‘Aththa’. The story mainly focuses on the any day-interesting Alludu vs Aththa point.

We hear that Maruthi has drawn inspiration from ‘Allari Alludu’, took the film’s basic story line, and added his formula of rendering an interesting trait to hero’s character. Chaitu will be seen as a youth with ego or high attitude. When an egoistic (innocuous though) protagonist is pitted against a belligerent Atththa, to be played by Ramya Krishna, audience can expect whole lot of fun.

Glamorous actress Mehreen Pirzada, who hogged major attention because of her sizzling chemistry (especially the aesthetically shot ‘Bugganchuna’ song) with Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej in ‘Jawaan’, has now been signed to romance another Mega family hero.

It is known that hat-trick director Anil Ravipudi will direct a multistarrer featuring Venkatesh and Varun Tej in his next project. After directing Mehreen in ‘Raja The Great’, he is repeating her in his new film as well. We have learnt from reliable sources that Mehreen has been roped in to romance Varun Tej in Anil’s new film, ‘F2’ (Fun & Frustration).

To be bankrolled by Dil Raju, F2 is another potential film for Mehreen, who aims to make it big in Tollywood in 2018 after a rocking 2017. She has also signed hero Gopichand’s new film.

The female lead for Venkatesh in F2 is yet to be finalized. The regular shooting of this multistarrer is expected to commence in early summer 2018.

Looking at the way newcomer director Vakkantam Vamsi carved out such a brilliant work, many movie lovers are wondering why Jr NTR didn’t give a green signal for this film. Actually, Vamsi and NTR are part of a long journey and they became good friends eventually. Later the Nandamuri hero promised to make him a director but in the end, Vakkantam came out with Bunny’s film as his debut project.

In case if Naa Peru Surya is the story written with Jr NTR in mind, then definitely the teaser says that the Nandamuri hero missed out a fantastic film. For such interesting line up including Nannaku Prematho, Janata Garage and Jai Lava Kusa, it would have been great if Junior picked this Naa Peru Surya also, opined many fans.
