Ram Charan’s upcoming film Rangasthalam is impressing with character teasers and songs already. This Sukumar directorial featuring Samantha in the leading role also has a stellar cast like Jagapathi Babu, Aadhi and Anasuya in some vital roles. Here comes an inside report about the content of this film.

Unlike just being a village drama, the film actually happens to be a political drama set in the village names Rangasthalam. It is about the mandal elections and a how a villain wants to win at the behest of destroying few families. We hear that some of the then issues like upper castes and lower castes rivalry (unfortunately they prevail now as well) are being dealt in the movie.

Seems like Rangasthalam is film hidden with political agenda if these reports are anything to go by. But till date, there is no picture nor any behind the scenes pic of the film has come out to confirm this. So we have to wait for the film.

Needless to say, the super success of “Arjun Reddy” has made director Sandeep Reddy Vanga a household name. And many cinema lovers are eagerly waiting to see him announce his next project.

Though there is no clarity from Sandeep about his next movie often we’re hearing rumours these days about his possible projects. Already the director himself confirmed that he narrated a couple of lines to Sharwanand and Ram Charan as well. But it looks another star hero is also on his radar.

Some reports indicated that Sandeep recently narrated a story idea to Superstar Mahesh. With this star hero liking Arjun Reddy big time, he’s also very much interested to work with the director. Sources tell us, “Mahesh actually got stunned with the story narrated by Sandeep because the lead character is actually a car mechanic. Unlike those commercial films where we have heroes playing mechanics just for the sake of it, in this story, Sandeep wrote a deeper version of the profession”.

For now, Mahesh’s kitty is full with some big projects lined up including that of his next with Vamsi Paidipally. So will he agree to become this car mechanic any soon?

There have been speculations in film circuits that a popular star heroine  who wedded to her beau recently is “carrying”. Rumours  about her alleged pregnancy has spreaded like wildfire in film nagar.

However, there is no clue how and where these have started. Perhaps, decrease in the number of films she sign might have led to such rumours.

When contacted the sources close to the actress, they are maintaining stoic silence over these “pregnancy” rumours.

Apart from a female-oriented film, she is gearing up to sign a film with her actor-husband very soon. So, these could just be some random rumours. However, one has to wait and see.

Chiranjeevi has “invited” “selective” media to his house. And this has not gone down well with several media folks. Apparently, Chiru invited some media to his residence to share his opinion on Tholi Prema which got decent reviews and registering good numbers.

However, electronic media is said to be excluded for the press briefing as the video feed would be passed on to them and they need to copy the feed and air it.

This drew ire of TV channel persons who raised objection with Chiru’s PR team. Though they clarified that the “selective” media invite is due to the space constraint in Chiru’s residence, the media persons seem to be not convinced with the response.

On the other hand, Chiru has been silent over Sai Dharam Tej’s Inttelligent which turned out to be a dud. At the same time, speculations are surrounding over Chiru’s next Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which seems to be embroiled in confusion over its progress, lead crew. Let’s see whether Chiru would clear the air on all these or not.

Rakul Preet Singh has done nearly twenty films so far, but she has never gone as much bold as she went for her latest photoshoot for Maxim magazine. Shocked at seeing her boldness, some fans even tried to lecture her on exposing. The actress has now hit back at trolls saying she doesn’t care.

In a latest interview, when Rakul was asked about receiving more criticism than compliments for her hot photo shoot, she gave a straightforward answer to the trolls. “Neither do I jump in happiness with the compliments, nor do I get affected by the trolls. I do what I feel is right, and what my family is okay with,” she reportedly said.

“People who want to appreciate will appreciate and those who want to criticize will criticize. That’s how I live my life,” Rakul added.That’s quite a sharp answer from the bold actress.

Although both the stars belong to mega clan, there has been a stiff competition between Allu Arjun and Ram Charan.

As Ram Charan didn’t have a release in 2017, he is now pulling all stops to do wonders at the BO in 2018. With his Rangasthalam is due for release in March, Bunny’s Naa Peru Surya is going to hit the marquee in April.

Apparently, inside buzz is that the trade is betting big on both the mega heroes. However, Allu Arjun said to have slighter edge as his recent performance at the ticket windows is pretty good with Sarrainodu, DJ. Though DJ was declared as above average, there is no denying that the film garnered 20.4 Crore share in Nizam alone joining the likes of Srimanthudu, Baahubali films which got 20 Crore-plus share in Nizam. In fact, DJ was stated to have beaten Chiru’s Khaidi No. 150 in Nizam (19.5 Crore Share) and this had created all uproar from a section of mega fans. This apart, there is no denying that Allu Arjun has a clear edge over Ram Charan at the BO.

Now, this seems to have reflected even in the trade of their respective films in Nizam that is considered as the yardstick for a film’s success in Tollywood.

As per trade sources, Rangasthalam’s Nizam theatrical rights have fetched a handsome 18 Crore. This is despite having an ace director like Sukumar and a star heroine like Samantha besides an ensemble cast.

Whereas Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya, directed by newcomer Vakkantham Vamsi and an upcoming heroine Anu Emmanuel whose last film Agnyaathavaasi is a pure dud, has managed to rake in Rs 21.5 Crore for its theatrical rights in Nizam. Needless to say that this is the best pre-release deal for a serious film like NPS.

Grapevine has it that Allu Arjun has beaten Charan in Nizam in terms of the pre-release business. However, one has to wait and watch who is going to rake how much moolah from the Nizam BO. This we get to know only once the film hits the theatres. As of now, everyone, including the trade is waiting for both the films with bated breath.
