Megastar Chiranjeevi is still the Boss of Tollywood and that is proved with the super success of Khaidi No. 150 at the box office. In his long and successful career of 36 years, there are so many chartbuster songs, which are now being remixed by his kith and kin to get attention. Mega Nephew Sai Dharam Tej is the first one to do more such remixes, all in the name of paying tribute to Megastar.

Even for his upcoming movie Inttelligent, Tej remixed Chiru’s Chamaku Chamaku Cham song from Kondaveeti Donga. Though it has become a sentiment for this mega hero to remix one of his uncle’s songs in every movie, he has never forced the opinion on directors, as he says. But some fans do ask him, why only Megastar’s songs, why not another uncle’s songs?

It seems like this ‘Supreme’ hero is also eyeing Powerstar Pawankalyan’s songs but he is waiting for an approval. When quizzed about what songs of Pawankalyan he would love to remix, this mega hero stated that he would remix ‘Ee Manase’ from Tholi Prema and ‘Naraju gaaku ra ma annaya’ from Johny. He added that even though he is not confident whether he can recreate the same magic he is much interested to remix these songs, but the condition is that he wants to get a nod from directors of those films.

These remixes will soon happen we have to say because Tholiprema director Karunakaran is now working with Sai Dharam while Jhonny is directed by none other than Pawan and he won’t say no to the remix request. So let’s say, Pawan’s songs remixes, Coming soon!!

Akshay Kumar is one of the finest actors in Bollywood. He has been scoring back to back hits these days and is enjoying the stardom. His latest release Padman with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte is getting exceptional feedback from critics and audiences alike after the initial premieres.

When looked at the estimates of the business his upcoming movies are all set to make, the results came out a shocker. There are four movies of Akshay that are slated to get released in 2018. His Padman is estimated to make a business of Rs. 80 crores at the box office. Gold is expected to make Rs. 70 crores whereas Kesari will be making a business of Rs. 55 crores. His forthcoming film Housefull 4 which is the fourth instalment of Housefull series can manage to make a whopping business of Rs. 100 crores.

Digging deep into the story, forget about the business but we can witness that all the four movies belong to different genres. Padman is a social message-oriented flick aimed at clearing out some stigmas, whereas Gold movie is a biopic based on true incidents of India winning the medal in Olympics. Kesari is a patriotic film and Housefull 4 is a full-fledged masala comedy entertainer. Also, he is playing the antagonist in Rajinikanth’s 2.O which is set for massive release this year.

Akshay who is a trendsetter has been doing versatile movies and scoring hits whereas our Telugu heroes are struggling to make one movie a year. Also in the name of huge budgets involved, our heroes are pretty much doing only masala movies than experimenting with genres. When will our Tollywood star heroes churn out Akshay like stuff?

Filmmaker Puri Jagannath has unveiled the teaser of his new film, ‘Mehbooba’, starring his son Akash Puri. The film is an intense love story set against the backdrop of India-Pakistan war in 1971.

The teaser looks stunning, from visuals point of view. Puri showcased the war backdrop quite effectively. Akash and debutante Neha Shetty are introduced as the young lovers who seem willing to brave the war and risk their lives for their love. Sandeep Chowta’s music is worth waiting for.

Puri himself has produced the romantic drama which will hit screens during summer season.

After introducing Ram Charan’s ‘Chitti Babu’ character through the teaser, makers of ‘Rangasthalam’ have introduced the character that Samantha plays in the film.

Sam plays Rama Lakshmi. This is the first time Sam played a rustic village belle, and she looks gorgeous in the de-glam avatar too. As narrated by Charan, Rama Lakshmi is the only girl who makes Chiti Babu’s heart pounding. The duo is expected to have an unconventional love story in this Sukumar celluloid.

The first song from the film will be released on Feb 13. Movie will release on March 30.

Despite entering the industry as a daughter of Superstar Krishna, Manjula Ghattamaneni has carved a niche for herself as a successful producer. Now, she is all set to mark her directorial debut with Manasuku Nachindi starring Sandeep Kishan and Amyra Dastur.

While the film is all set to hit the screens soon, the team has been participating actively in the promotional events. In a recent media interaction, Manjula had confessed that she wants to direct Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. When she said that, immediately hero Sandeep Kishan added that she even has a script for Pawankalyan.

“After my father and brother, Pawankalyan garu is someone who always followed his heart. There is something that is genuine about him. Yes, I had a story for him Sandeep was right” she revealed. “I know he is not doing movies anymore. But if he listens to the script, he will not turn it down. He will love it. I would feel happy that he can happily go to politics, after doing this movie”, she concluded.

She asked the media to tell Pawankalyan to accept just this one film. Will Powerstar accept the request of Mahesh’s sister? What is more stunning is that despite Manjula coming from such a big film family, she wants to direct someone outside her own tribe. Way to go for her as a director!!

A video has recently gone viral in which veteran actress Sridevi’s alleged overaction in front of shutterbugs seemingly disappointed and embarrassed her daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor.

Jhanvi, who is currently shooting for her debut film, “Dhadak”, has been one of the most clicked celebrity even before she stepped into films. She has been promoted by her mother Sridevi by tagging her along with herself to movie screenings, events, parties etc. Now, surprisingly, Sridevi seems to be against her daughter getting clicked at a time when she is getting ready to appear on silver screen.

The star mother-daughter duo have recently walked hand in hand at a fashion show. Later, when the shutterbugs asked them to walk the ramp separately, Jhanvi stepped aside and Sridevi first walked alone. Later, when Jhanvi was about to walk separately, Sridevi seemed to have got angry and yelled at her. Even though Jhanvi looked to plead her mom, Sridevi did not allow her. A disappointed Jhanvi, waved her hand to shutterbugs as a sign of saying Bye Bye.

Media persons were left perplexed at Sridevi’s behavior. Did she intend to guard Jhanvi from media eye until her debut? If so, why bring her to the show in the first place? Some onlookers alleged that it was a publicity stunt from the experienced actress to draw more attention. Whatever the reason is, the video nonetheless went viral.
