Sai Pallavi’s Shocking Remuneration!
If grapevine is to be believed, Sai Pallavi is charging a bomb to the makers of Sharwanand and Hanu Raghavapudi film. Buzz is that Sai Pallavi is charging a staggering 1.40 Crore for the film which is pretty high.
Not even the top heroines such as Kajal, Samantha have charged this fee at the very early of their career. With only one big hit Fidaa, Sai Pallavi stormed to the ace league. Though MCA received poor reviews, the film managed to do well at the BO, thanks to the craze of Sai Pallavi and Nani among crowds.
Meanwhile, Sai Pallavi has signed a film opposite Suriya and it is going to be directed by Selvaraghavan. Apparently, she is being paid higher than what she is paid for Sharwa-Hanu’s film.
Looks like, Sai Pallavi is aptly utilizing her craze. She is following the popular idiom, ‘make hay while the sun shines’.
Tholiprema To Tholiprema – Raju’s Successful Journey
Iconic films are not meant for remaking because they have already done the magic and most of the time the new lead pair fail to reprise them and fail to live up to the expectations. But mega hero Varun Tej is all set to pull out such feat though he’s just using title but not remaking or reprising the old roles.
Pawan Kalyan’s Tholi Prema was a 1998 released love story which immensely impressed the Telugu audience. Now, Varun is coming back with Tholi Prema in 2018. Apart from the title, another connection between these two films is none other than acclaimed producer Dil Raju. In 1998 he distributed Pawan’s film in Nizam districts but now he owns the entire rights of Varun’s movie for the two Telugu states. Will this film change Raju’s fortune yet again like the way it happened in 1998?
Newbie director Venky Atluri has in fact written this story for Dil Raju and the latter was highly impressed with the script though he didn’t produce it in the end. And now, Dil Raju claimed that he has already watched the final copy of Tholiprema and certified it is the best love story.
In the recent times, many such certifications he has given for love stories have bitten the dust. He has believed in so many love stories before, but except for a few, most of them haven’t worked out well. Now, owing to the title, Tholi Prema is definitely going to be a risky feat, isn’t it?
Can Varun and Rashi recreate a magic set by Pawan and Keerthi Reddy in their Tholiprema? Let’s see how is Raju’s luck after 20 years.
Somu Veerraju: Chandrababu Govt is Corrupt
BJP MLC Somu Veerraju is at it again. A day after TDP Parliamentary Party decided to attack BJP and expose Unioin Government over the injustice meted out to AP, Somu Veerraju has breathed fire on TDP chief Chandrababu and his government. Levelling serious allegations that AP state government is involved in ‘corruption’, Somu Veerraju alleged that Rs 1000 Crore corruption took place in Naidu’s own Assembly constituency – Kuppam. Alleging Naidu government of ‘misusing’ funds, Veerraju said that corruption of Rs 10 crore alone was taken place in a mandal of Kuppam. Somu Veerraju said that TDP government is not using Modi’s protrait even for central sponsored schemes and is projecting it as Naidu’s achievement by displaying Naidu’s photo.
Referring Naidu without naming him directly, Somu Veerraju alleged, “From being a farmer with just two acres of land, how did you amass thousands of crores?” Somu Veerraju didn’t stop there. He even blamed Naidu for ‘dethroning great leader NT Ramarao for power’.
Somu Veerraju made it clear that he is making these statements only after proper nod from his party’s top brass. Claiming that BJP is ‘clean’ and ‘non-corrupt, Somu Veerraju said that he is acting on the directions from BJP’s top leadership.
With this, the ties between TDP and BJP are expected to severe further. It needs to be seen how long TDP and BJP would continue their alliance.
Day 1 : AP MPs Protest in Parliament
Voicing out their opinion against the injustice meted out to Andhra Pradesh, TDP MPs of AP have protested on Monday against Union Government’s step-motherly treatment to the state. MPs Ram Mohan Naidu, Galla Jayadev, TG Venkatesh, Siva Prasad, Nimmala Kishtappa have participated in the protest outside and inside Parliament today (Feb 5). This is a day after Naidu directed TDP MPs to protest in Parliament. It is despite Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh’s request to Chandrababu Naidu not to ‘protest’ in parliament and promised to look into all the problems of AP.
Rajnath had earlier called Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday during TDP Parliamentary Party meeting and urged Naidu not to take ‘severe step’. Rajnath has conveyed Naidu that he is calling at the behest of PM Modi. Rajnath has promised to fulfill all the promises made to AP and stated that a possible statement to be made in the floor of the house.
However, Chandrababu too conveyed Rajnath that they have waited so long and have maintained patience for long. Naidu told that the Parliamentary Party has decided to protest inside and outside the Parliament till all the demands are met. Naidu also expressed his angst to Rajnath over ‘injustice’ done to AP in Budget 2018.
Meanwhile, Congress Rajya Sabha MP KVP Ramachandra Rao along with the support of Congress MPs marched into well and protested against the government. Rajya Sabha chairman and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu had urged members not to disrupt the functioning of Rajya Sabha. Yet, KVP and Congress MPs didn’t pay heed to Venkaiah and continued their protest. With no other option left, Venkaiah has adjourned the Rajya Sabha.
TSR Still Hopeful of Mega Multistarrer
A multistarrer in the combination of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan was announced by industrialist and Parliamentarian T Subbirami Reddy in February last year. Exactly after one year, he has given an update that the script work is in progress and the film will go on floors very soon.
Addressing media in Warangal on Sunday, TSR revealed that the story for the Mega multistarrer had been locked and the script work was under progress. He added that the Schedule for the shooting of the film would be announced soon.
Now, what are the real chances of this multistarrer getting materialized?
Pawan Kalyan has recently asserted that he would dedicate his full time to politics henceforth. Even if he decides to act in films occasionally, he might not take up a film before 2019 polls.
Coming to Megastar, he is currently busy with Sye Raa, which will keep him occupied for at least one year. Next, he has a commitment with mass director Boyapati Srinu.
Director Trivikram Sreenivas, who was announced by TSR as the chosen one to direct the Mega multisrarrer, has never confirmed about being associated with the project.
Taking all the factors into account, TSR seems to be having a dream which is highly unlikely to become a reality.
Paisa Vasool With Guntur Talkies!
The sequel of ‘Guntur Talkies’, the adult comedy that unleashed the sexiest side of popular TV anchor Rashmi Gautam, is getting promising with the inclusion of each sultry actress.
After claiming to have signed former adult film star Sunny Leone and “Komaram Puli” fame Nikesha Patel, the film’s producer-director Raj Kumar has now revealed that Bengali bombshell Kyra Dutt has just come on board to play another leading lady.
Kyra was last seen in Balayya Babu’s “Paisa Vasool”. Her sexy moves in the film’s title song were one of the highlights of the film.
Confirming her signing ‘Guntur Talkies’ sequel, Kyra Dutt said that she was offered a meaty role and she is looking forward to entertain Telugu audience even more with this film.
‘No Regrets for Rejecting Baahubali’
Ace director SS Rajamouli likes to collaborate with the same technicians if he finds a chord with them. Music director MM Keeravani, Cinematographer Senthil and Editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao are his frequent collaborators.
Famed Art Director Ravinder can also be added to this list as he worked with Rajamouli on his last three films before ‘Baahubali’. Then, why didn’t he work for Baahubali? Has Rajamouli put him aside to rope in the acclaimed production designer, Sabu Syril?
Ranvinder, who has won accolades for his brilliant work in Anushka’s “Bhaagamathie”, revealed that Rajamouli had wanted him for Baahubali too, but he himself chosen to opt out. And, he claims to have no regrets for losing such an international blockbuster.
“When Baahubali was conceptualized, it was a single part film. Rajamouli asked me to work on the film but I wasn’t ready to give four years for a single film as I had several other commitments too,” Ravinder revealed why he chose to reject Baahubali.
“In those four years, I worked on 11 films and did a couple of big private projects too. I also materialized my dream of starting my own boutique. I didn’t lose anything by rejecting Baahubali. I am very happy that it became such a huge hit but I have no regrets about losing it,” he added.
Ravinder asserted that his relationship with Rajamouli is pretty much the same and that he is more than willing to work with him on his future projects.
In Talk: Rangasthalam Demo Videos
Sukumar is one of the brilliant directors in Tollywood and at the same time, he has this penchant for differently-styled item numbers. In the past, item numbers such as A ante Amalapuram from Arya, Ringa Ringa from Arya 2, Diyyalo Diyyala from 100% Love turned out to be chartbusters.
Sukku is now prepping well for his upcoming movie Rangasthalam. The movie features the story of a deaf guy Chittibabu (Ram Charan) who is living in the village named Rangasthalam. Touted to be a period drama set in 1985, already the teaser impressed the audience and increased curiosity on the film.
The known news is that sexy siren Pooja Hegde will be doing the much-awaited item number in this film that is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. An update is that choreographer Jani Master is roped in to compose the steps but with a condition. He will first compose some demo videos and then show it Charan. Only after getting the approval from the mega hero, Jani will continue to compose the same songs on set and also train Pooja Hegde as well as Charan in the studio. For that reason, this talented choreographer is currently busy preparing the demo videos and the pictures are from their practice sessions are going viral on social media.
While Jani is dressed like Charan in that song, that massy look and crazy village-feel are quite interesting we have to say. Let’s see how the song turns out finally.

Will Nani Save This Struggling Heroine?
In his series of successful films over the last three years, actor Nani has worked with several budding actresses. Starting with Lavanya Tripathi (Bhale Bhale Magadivoy) to Sai Pallavi (MCA), everyone tasted the success and made way to gain new projects in the industry. All these super hit films of Nani did nothing but enhanced the career graph of those young actresses.
While the success in the form of Majnu and Nenu Local helped Anu Emmanuel and Keerthy Suresh to act with Pawan Kalyan in Agnyathavasi, other heroines too got a passport to make big. Now, his new film Krishnarjuna Yudham is going to decide the fate of another actress who’s reeling under flops.
Yes, a model-turned-heroine Rukshar Mir is playing the female lead in Natural star’s new film, but she has got no hits in her kitty as of now. Although her debut performance in Kannada flick Katte was critically acclaimed, it remained as little-spoken thing. Later, she worked in two box-office disappointments – Run Antony (Kannada) and Akatayi (Telugu). But, as a reward for her past performance and looks, Rukshar Mir grabbed a chance alongside the most-successful actor Nani.
So, this will be one deciding movie for the 24-year old actress who is certainly in need of a hit. After Rashmika Mandanna (Chalo fame), Rukshar is new the import from Kannada industry. It now remains to be seen how well this new-found sense of hope will work for Rukshar. Will Nani’s luck work for her or will her bad luck breaks the success streak of Nani?
‘Don’t Blame Me, I’m A No Nonsense Actress’
These are the days where if two actresses don’t stare at each other, rumours will be mushrooming that all is not well between them. Here in the case of Keerthi Suresh, it looks like some Tamil folks are damn upset in a similar fashion.
Despite lacking some good hits in Tamil, already Keerthi paired with the likes of Vijay, Dhanush and Surya as well. She will be now seen with Vikram in Saami 2 and once again with Vijay in AR Murugadoss movie. Rumours are coming up that it is due to Keerthi, actually, Trisha exited from Saami 2. We do know that Trisha is the heroine in Saami and the pair of Vikram-Trisha scored a big hit then.
When checked with insiders, many told that Keerthi will not be having any such egos about co-stars. As she acted in combination with many heroines like with Anu Emmanuel in Agnyaathvaasi and Samantha in Mahanati but never got any issues. So what is the truth?
As the news reached the ears of Keerthi as well, she responded to it other day. “I don’t even have a combination scene with Trisha. How come I’m responsible for her exit from the film? I really don’t know about that and never I’ll poke my nose into those stuff” she clarified, in a strong tone. “Don’t blame me for everything, I’m a no-nonsense actress” she adds.
