During his latest interview, Ravi Teja has confirmed that his next film would be directed by Srinu Vaitla. According to the inside info, the film has been titled, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ and will have the mass maharaja essaying three different roles. This Vaitla-Ravi Teja project is the second Telugu film in the recent times after NTR’s “Jai Lava Kusa”, to have Hero in triple role.

Besides that, another common factor in both the films is, talented Malayai actress Nivetha Thomas. According to latest reports, Nivetha has been roped in to romance Ravi Teja in Vaitla’s film. It is known that Nivetha was one of the two heroines in JLK too.

This new film is Nivetha’s second biggie after JLK. She was earlier approached to play female lead in Ravi Teja-Kalyan Krishna film, which is currently in production stage. The short beauty however couldn’t sign that film as had decided to concentrate on her studies. She is reportedly glad to sign the actor’s next film.

Featuring Ravi Teja in three different roles, the film will go on floors in April. Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll this Vaitla directorial.

From last few days, there are various rumours doing rounds about hero Nani and his latest look. In connection with the early-morning accident where his car crashed into a pole on Road No 45, Jubilee Hills, some rumours say that he got a broken tooth as well.

With the producers of Sai Dharam Tej’s Inttelligent and Varun Tej’s Tholi Prema are no mood to give up and change the dates of their respective films, mega Producer Allu Aravind has stepped in to resolve the issue amicably. Aravind, who always stands first in solving mega issues, has apparently spoken to both the producers and said to have brought a consensus between the both contentious parties.

The ego issues of mega heroes’ films have been solved by Aravind with his master strategy. Aravind told to have convinced Producer BVSN Prasad to postpone Tholi Prema by a day. Tholi Prema will now release on Feb 10 against to earlier date of Feb 9. This is expected to clear the confusion among mega heroes.

Since openings are very crucial for the films of mega heroes, if both films release with a gap of a day, this is likely to help both films’ openings. Certainly it is different scenario from clashing on same day. As Tholi Prema too releasing only the best day, that way, even the egos of both producers are satisfied. Makers of Rangasthalam are completely excited after the release of the film’s teaser couple of days ago as the look and characterisation of Ram Charan have won many hearts. With hype building up for this delayed directorial of Sukumar, here comes a bit more on the ‘sentiments’ inside this film.

We’ve already revealed earlier that Rangasthalam will be high on brother sentiment with Aadhi Pinisetty playing the doting but villainous brother of Ram Charan. Latest update is that Aadhi dies in the movie and that’s when the story takes a huge turn. We hear that the brother sentiment is borrowed from real life inspiration that happened in Sukumar’s own life.

Adding more on this, a source tells us that Ram Charan’s care and love for his arrogant brother forms the basis of the story and what happens after his brother’s death is the real cinematic experience we should feel on the silver screen. With Sukumar known for carving nutty gritty details to the perfection, no doubt, we could expect an intense treat from him.

Bollywood’s second answer to Baahubali 1 & 2 is Padmaavat movie while the first movie is Bajirao Mastani directed by the very same Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Why these two films haven’t taken on Baahubali despite having strong emotional content is the question.

To get an answer for that, we need to examine two scenes that deal with similar content. In Baahubali 2, the beheading scene of Senapathi by Amarendra Baahubali in the court of Bhallaladeva is hair-raising. Despite looking like a barbaric act, the way Rajamouli conceived it gave goosebumps. That’s the scene which sets whole of Baahubali 2 into a new pace which will not stop till the climax.

Now, when we look at the similar scene in Padmaavat where Alauddin Khilji was laid with a condition by Padmavati to behead the royal guru who cheated her husband, Khilji says ‘Manzur’ and executes him. But in this scene, there is no such huge drama or gripping tight narrative that could mesmerise audiences. If the same scene is given Rajamouli kinds of treatment, then the result would have been different.

Despite grandeur and some terrific performances from Ranvir Singh and others, Padmaavat might end up collecting 200 crores ‘nett’ but will not come near Baahubali, say trade experts.

Senior Tamil hero Sarath Kumar, who was recently seen enacting hero’s father character in Boyapati’s “Jaya Janaki Nayaka”, is doing the lead role in an interesting fantasy thriller titled “Paamban”. The movie ‘s shoot commenced today in Chennai.

On the eve, the makers have unveiled the first look posters, which introduce Sarath Kumar as a mighty Snake Man. The posters look stunning and raise curiosity on the fantasy movie. To be high on VFX, the film is being made on a staggering budget, and ‘Paamban’ is being touted as the actor’s highest budgeted project till date. Makers plan to release the movie by the end of this year.

Coming to his Telugu projects, Sarath Kumar will be next seen in pivotal roles in Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya and Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu.

Courting an interesting debate, well-known producer, distributor and exhibitor Dil Raju has made shocking comments on the producers of UV Creations. While many young, new-age producers and upcoming producers take Dil Raju as inspiration, Raju stated that he would like to follow the UV Creations.

Drawing comparisons between UV Creations and his Production Sri Venkateswara Creations, Raju said, “I had scored five hits out of my first six production ventures, and UV Creations too delivered five hits out of their first six films. But still they are ahead of me as they already made inroads into Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Whereas am still yet to try new avenues such as Tamil, Malayalam. I will soon be following them.” Dil Raju made these comments during the success function of Anushka Shetty-starrer Bhaagmathie. Raju, who distributed the film in Nizam is quite happy with the profits after he lost a chunk of money with the distribution of Agnyaathavaasi.

Dil Raju had produced six films in 2017 and made money over Rs 100 Crore in the last year. He is now gearing up to produce many in 2018. The appreciation of Dil Raju to UV Creations is certainly a most-cherishing compliment to UV.

The unconfirmed reports says that film heroine Samantha is likely to contest from Secunderabad Assembly Constituency in 2019 elections. The ruling TRS leadership is seriously planning to rope Samantha into active politics and use her film glamour in the TRS poll campaign.

Speculations are doing rounds in TRS circles that since Samantha belonged to Christian community, her victory is confirmed from the Christian dominating Assembly Constituency. Earlier, veteran film actress Jayasudha also won election from the same Assembly segment.

Telangana government already appointed Samantha as brand ambassador to Telangana handlooms. The IT and Industries Minister KTR is already getting ready to convince Samantha’s Father In Law Nagarjuna to allow her to contest the election and campaign for TRS also during upcoming elections.
