Apparently, Varma narrated a story to Naga Chaitanya and producer ML Kumar Chowdary of Keerthi Creations was supposed to producer this. Despite okaying this project much in advance, it is heard that the Akkineni her first kick-started Savyasachi under Chandu Mondeti’s direction. When Chowdary is expecting Chay to kick-start his project after Chandu’s film, surprisingly the hero kickstarted Maruthi’s Sailaja Reddy Alludu. It seems like this move has hurt him a lot.
Latest update is that Keerthi Creations unit is hunting for another hero who could immediately allot dates to them such that Virinchi Varma’s film will take off. One wonders if Chay failed to accommodate his dates just like that or if he didn’t like the script in the first place.
Most of the times film projects end up falling in different hero’s lap in this way and sometimes they do very well and sometimes they bite the dust too. Let’s see what happens.
Even though the historical Hindi magnum opus, ‘Padmaavat’ has been subjected to so many difficulties to have a release finally, protests are still being witnessed outside theatres screening the movie at some places. In a bizarre incident, some overenthusiastic BJP party men held a protest outside a theatre screening ‘Bhaagamathie’ thinking that ‘Padmaavat’ was being screened.
The awkward incident was witnessed in Tamil Nadu, outside a theatre in Erode. Since both ‘Bhaagamathie’ and ‘Padmaavat’ were being screened in the city (in different theatres), the protesters got confused Bhaagamathie for Padmaavat and started a dharna outside the thaetre. They realized their embarrassing blunder and walked away only after being informed by the theatre management that its the Anushka-starrer but not the Deepika-Ranveer starrer film.
Fortunately, despite these protests, Padmaavat is performing exceptionally well at worldwide box office.
One of the most controversial films of the present times even though there is not much controversy inside is none other than Padmaavat crafted by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film just defied all the hurdles created by Karni Sena and Co and went to nett 100 crores box office revenue already.
While the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana wanted to stand by the “Rajput” side of the film saying that it is hurting sentiments of people from that caste, now a country wanted to stand by Khilji’s side. Actually, the film has Allauddin Khilji as the villain, a Muslim ruler who conquered Delhi throne in 1296 AD and that has now hurt Malaysian Censor authorities.
Feeling that the film touches the sensitive things related to Islam and portraying the religion in a bad light to a larger extent, Malaysia felt that the Muslim-majority country will find it unacceptable and hence banned the film. Like many said already, it’s Khilji’s descendants who should feel sad about the film, not Rajputs, it looks like Malaysia took a clue from them.
Meanwhile, it’s a wonder that the film hasn’t found obstacles when Pakistani censors steered a clearance for its release.
From a time, there are certain rounds revolving around Jr NTR and these doubts got doubled after Agnyaathavasi release, which fell flat at the box office. With many of his fans in confusion, other day he met them to give a clarity once and for all.
Reports are coming that Jr NTR’s fans are worried about two big rumours. One happens to be his liposuction thing, where gossipmongers popularised that the talented hero is undergoing that procedure again to slim down for Trivikram’s film. Finally, gulte.com broke the breaking news some time ago that DJ Duvvvada Jagannadham girl Pooja Hegde was locked as the main heroine of the film and she signed the dotted line as well. And now, there are some rumours mushrooming that the makers are considering Shraddha Kapoor to be the leading lady of the film. Ever since Shraddha started speaking more about Telugu films after getting starred in Sahoo, these rumours have increased.
When we rechecked with sources from the film’s unit, it is said that Pooja Hegde is the leading lady of the movie and they laughed other rumours doing rounds. It is heard that Shraddha neither considered nor approached even for any other role or a song in the movie.

An unidentified woman’s body chopped into piece near Kondapur Botanical gardens at Gachibowli in the High-Tech city limits in Hyderabad.
The body was stuffed into a bag and left on the main road busy with vehicular traffic in the working hours. People moving along the road noticed the bag and alerted the police immediately.

Cut to our discussion, recently mega hero Sai Dharam Tej is seen coming up with negative titles and unexpected posters for his films. Negative in the sense, the film’s title is not reflecting the exact content of the movie. This happened in the case of Winner and Jawaan as well. People thought ‘Winner’ is Megastar’s ‘Challenge’ like film while the film revolves around father-son sentiment. ‘Jawaan’ is projected as patriotic film but inside it is more of a friend’s revenge on the hero.
Coming to unexpected posters, if we look at posters of his latest movies, you could notice that ‘sexy’ look of heroines getting more highlighted than needed. Whether it is hottest looking Rakul on Winner posters, saree clad Mehrene on Jawaan posters or the sexiest ever looks of Lavanya Tripathi on Inttelligent posters, one wonders why these hotties are getting promoted more. Maybe the makers are thinking that B & C centres audiences will turn their heads towards these posters, but actually, that is hiding the real content and theme of the film.
Probably it’s high time Sai Dharam Tej stops coming up with these sexy posters and comes up with concept posters to promote his films. Maybe he should take a clue from Dhruva and Fidaa posters.
