Lokesh Gets ‘Bumper Offer’
Andhra Pradesh IT and Panchayat Raj minister N Lokesh had received a bumper offer from two of his cabinet colleagues. State Industries minister Amarnath Reddy and Education Minister Ganta Srinivas have come forward to sacrifice their Assembly seats to Lokesh in 2019 elections.
Amarnath, who is representing Palamanedu Assembly Constituency in Chittoor district, informed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that he is ready to give his seat to Lokesh. He said four mandals in his constituency were part of Kuppam Assembly segment before the delimitation in 2009. The winning prospects of Lokesh was 100 per cent in Palamanedu since it is TDP fiefdom.
Another minister Ganta Srinivas also expressed his readiness to support Lokesh if the latter contest from his Bhimili Assembly Constituency in Visakhapatnam district.
In the wake of growing criticism from opposition over Lokesh’s political entry as MLC, Chandrababu is seriously planning to field his son in direct elections in 2019. The TDP Chief is already scouting for a suitable constituency to Lokesh in Andhra. As Chandrababu was representing from Rayalaseema district, the CM wanted Lokesh to elect from Coastal Andhra.
Jr NTR Taking Extra Care Of Script!
One demand that is made by Jr NTR when it comes to Trivikram’s project sounds pretty valid. In the wake of Angyaathvaasi’s colossal failure, many thought that NTR will be pretty alert as he generally as he doesn’t want to get affected by his director’s flop show.
There are some talks that NTR wanted to replace Anirudh and Anu Emmanuel, but for now, Anirudh is retained and a finalisation heroine is yet to take place. Unlike any other hero, Tarak is said to have demanded only one particular thing from Wizard of Words, and that is not about casting. Reports are coming that he is asking for ‘bound script’.
Even Pawan Kalyan has worked for Agnyaathavaasi without even reading the bound script because of the trust he has on Trivikram. As the director is getting carried away by some repeated scenes and emotions, now Jr NTR wants to check everything before they start the shoot. From this Nandamuri hero’s side, since Temper he is taking good care of scripts and the that is why we have seen beautiful films like Janatha Garage and Nananku Prematho delivered from him while Jai Lava Kusa also satisfied fans to an extent.
So will Trivikram finish that bound script before the shoot itself? He has to do it because NTR is insisting on that. It’s a valid demand anyway!!
Trivikram Sacked Three Associate Directors?
Director Trivikram is well known for his entertaining scripts all the time. He is often called as the ‘Wizard of the words’ for his punchlines that talk philosophy of life. But his latest release Agnyaathavaasi which became a disaster at the box office dented his image. Disappointed with the way he carved it, everyone started questioning his skills.
Reports are coming that even Trivkram felt sad about the result. As per the talk, he found fault with the team for not giving him the right feedback regarding the story and scenes. Vexed Trivikram is planning to change his team and hire some aspiring youth for his new team. For that reason, he’s said to have sacked three associate directors and will work with a new team for Jr NTR’s film.
No doubt, Trivikram is planning out each and everything carefully so that nothing goes wrong in his upcoming film. But sacking the team for the sake of a subject written by him is little foolish, in case if this rumour is true. Naturally, any guy feels that whatever the decision was taken by Trivikram is correct, going by his past track record. So there is no point in blaming the team.
Anyway, shooting of NTR-Trivikram movie is much-likely to go on sets from March or April. The film is going to be a romantic drama which features family emotions. Hope the director will make a point that he is back into form with this new venture.
Oscar 2018: ‘The Shape Of Water’ Gets 13 Nominations
In what could be a super surprise to film lovers, the Oscar Nominations that were announced a while ago have stunned everyone as director Guillermo del Toro’s fantasy romance “The Shape Of Water” got 13 nominations.
Including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress, Best Actor Supporting Role, Best Actress Supporting Role, Cinematography, Costume Design, Editing, Sound Design, Music, Sound Mixing and Best Original Screenplay, the film went to standing by many other iconic films that got 13 nominations. We have to see if it will also win Most Oscars on March 4th as the Academy Awards get concluded that day.
Cut to other films, we have- Call Me by Your Name, Darkest Hour, Dunkirk, Get Out, Lady Bird, Phantom Thread, The Post and Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri nominated for Best Picture.
We have Gary Oldman for “Darkest Hour,” Timothee Chalamet for “Call Me By Your Name,” Daniel Day-Lewis for “Phantom Thread,” Daniel Kaluuya for “Get Out ” and Denzel Washington for “Roman J. Israel, Esq” nominated for Best Actor trophy.
When it comes to actresses, Best actress nominees are Frances McDormand for “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” Saoirse Ronan for “Lady Bird,” Sally Hawkins for “The Shape of Water,” Meryl Streep for “The Post” and Margot Robbie “I, Tonya.”
Meryl Streep’s best actress nomination for media drama The Post is her 17th for best actress and her 21st if we include other categories.
Many expected that ‘The Post’ will get yet another nomination for Steven Spielberg under “Best Director” category while Tom Hanks will get “Best Actor” nomination. But they didn’t get them, quite shockingly. The same film’s actress Meryl Streep got “Best Actress” and The Post itself got nominated for “Best Picture”.

Superstar Mahesh Babu, one of the most followed South stars on social media, has now joined the photo sharing platform, Instagram. With millions of followers already on Twitter and Facebook already, his instagram debut has been long overdue.
Mahesh is available on Instagram with the handle, ‘urstrulymahesh’, the same one that he uses for Twitter and FB. The superstar, whose Instagram account has been verified, hasn’t yet made his first post but he has already amassed around 25K followers, and the count is ever-increasing as we write this piece.

Raashi Khanna is roped in to pair with the Macho Varun Tej in this love story. The point that is still in question is, will she be the one loving Varun Tej or is she the love that he is searching for?

Anu in Talks for 3rd Mega Film
Young Malayali beauty Anu Emmanuel might soon get the ‘Mega family’ heroine tag if she has not earned it already by acting opposite Pawan Kalyan in ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ and Allu Arjun in ‘Nee Peru Surya’.
Going by the latest reports, Anu is in talks for her third film starring a Mega family hero. Its for Sai Dharam Tej’s new film to be directed by Gopichand Malineni. The makers are considering other options too but Anu is the top contender to bag the female lead role.
The beautiful actress has earlier narrowly missed the opportunity to pair with Ram Charan in Boyapati’s film. But, to her delight, she has received another Mega family film in no time. Tej-Malineni film will go on floors after the young hero completes Karunakaran’s love story.
Meanwhile, Anu has bagged Chairu-Maruthi film and is in talks for a couple of biggies.
No Reaction From Bunny On Powerstar’s Yatra
Pawan Kalyan has commenced his political journey on a serious note. Everyone from family to fans has been wishing him.Ram Charan and Upasana wished him luck. His nephews Sai Dharam and Varun Tej were also not far behind in wishing their uncle all the best.
But very noticeably, Allu family stayed away from wishing the Powerstar.Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish have maintained stoic silence on this matter. Otherwise the brothers are very active.
We wonder is the fallout that Bunny had with Powerstar’s fans is a reason for this. Time will tell.It is no secret that Allu Arjun doesn’t have cordial relations with Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan Doesn’t Know Ground Realities
It is now pretty clear that power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan doesn’t have any ambition of coming to power and probably even he and his followers do not know why he is entering politics.But what is irritating for the other political party leaders is that Pawan Kalyan is speaking through his hat and has absolutely no knowledge of the ground realities.
His comments at the press conference on Monday describing Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as a hard worker and a smart politician doing an excellent job as the chief minister has naturally drawn the ire of the Congress leaders.Senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao reacted strongly to Pawan’s praising of KCR. He said the Jana Sena leader was not aware of any of the issues in Telangana.
“There is no reason for him to tour Telangana as he has no stakes here and he should better concentrate on Andhra Pradesh,” he said.The Congress leaders in Andhra Pradesh, too, are fuming at Pawan Kalyan.
“His whole exercise is only to blow the trumpet for Chandrababu Naidu and KCR. He is Chekka Bhajana Kalyan. There is no need for him to waste his time in the name of tours.He can as well sit at home and praise Naidu and KCR,” Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee spokesman V Tulasi Reddy said.
He said both the TDP and the YSR Congress party had failed to protect the interests of the people and their leaders have become puppets in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.“Under these circumstances, there is no place for Pawan Kalyan in the state politics,” Reddy said.
