A lot of actresses have started opening up about their new found crush on Prabhas and desire to work with him. They can’t be blamed for their desperateness as such was the impact created by ‘Baahubali’. The latest girl to express her wish of working with Prabhas is Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the daughter of senior Tamil hero Sarathkumar.

In a recent interview, Varalaxmi reportedly said that she was smitten by Prabhas’ performance in ‘Baahubali’ and that is looking forward for an opportunity to pair with him. She called Prabhas’ performance in Baahubali, magnificent. ‘Everyone wants to work with Prabhas and I’m no exception,’ she reportedly said.

Continuing further, she said that she likes to work with Ram Charan and Jr NTR too. The 32-year-old actress hopes that her debut Telugu film ‘Shakti’ will open doors for her in Tollywood.

‘Shakti’ is a Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam trilingual starring Varalaxmi in lead role. The film’s first look was unveiled recently. It is a heroine-centric thriller, which is described by Varalakshmi as a cat and mouse game between her and the film’s antagonist.

Mass majaraja Ravi Teja’s “Raja The Great” is off to a terrific start at the worldwide box-office as it grossed over Rs 10 Cr.  The opening is highly commendable considering the film was released mid-week and amidst pre-festival hullabaloo.

The commercial entertainer has raked in Rs 7.8 crore from the Telugu states and over Rs 10 Cr from the worldwide box office. The Ravi Teja-starrer collected around $130K from US premieres, the career best for the actor.

A rumor came out in 2013, it turned news in 2014, bigger news in 2015, but it’s 2017 now and the film is yet to see the light. Anushka Shetty has been working on her next film titled Bhagmati from a long time. This periodic drama directed by Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame will be her first release after Baahubali: The Conclusion.

Owing to the tough post-production work, including a huge dose of VFX work, the film is said to be delayed. We hear that a top VFX studio based in Mumbai has been overlooking the graphics work, which mainly includes correcting Anushka’s face and physique.

This hot heroine has been out of shape ever since she starred in Size Zero. As she looked extremely fat in some of the episodes and with nothing much to do, the makers are said to have allotted a budget of Rs 5 crores for correcting those scenes using digital techniques.

While this extra job to correct Anushka turned out to be an expensive process, the makers are not in a mood to compromise on the quality. As Bhagmati has been aimed for a Sankranthi 2018 release, UV creations is working hard to bring out the best product.

Superstar Mahesh Babu may be shattered with the poor response of his recent outing Spyder however he has been extremely impressed with the work of the film’s female lead Rakul Preet Singh.

Rakul too has been well bonded with Mahesh and Namratha during the shoot which made the actor recommend her for his next film which will be helmed by Vamshi Paidipally. The movie is expected to start rolling next year and is currently in pre-production.

Mahesh recommended Rakul revealing about her professionalism on the sets of Spyder. She was available whenever the movie unit wanted her on sets which impressed Superstar for his next. The actress has proudly changed her social media handle to ‘Samantha Akkineni’ and also said in an interview that the responsibility on her shoulders doubled after she became the daughter-in-law of Akkineni family.

As this chennai beauty continues to say, “I am blessed to have become a part of such an understanding family,” some fans started wondering whether she would quit films for the sake of family.

When the was asked to Samantha in a recent interview, pat came the reply saying NO. “I love and respect my profession as much as I love my family. I can never think of putting one over the other,” Samantha reportedly said.

Young Tiger NTR changed his path completely in the recent years in terms of picking the content of his films. After back to back hits, he seems to have got delighted and hunting more for interesting roles. He’s even looking forward to working young and upcoming directors now.

Apparently, sometimes a small statement turns into a big thunder in the hearts of filmmakers. And known for his upright talk, Nandamuri Balakrishna once again made such sharp comment, which is now amusing his latest movie producer and also the director.

Without paying heed to the negative result cast by Paisa Vasool, Balayya moved to his 102nd movie under the direction of KS Ravi Kumar. None other than C Kalyan is producing this flick whose second schedule also got wrapped very recently.

Other day Balayya took part in Garuda Vega trailer launch and said, “Time is money and producer’s money should be wisely spent. That’s why my film Satakarni got completed in 79 days and we wrapped Paisa Vasool in 78 days. Now every day I’m giving warning to Kalyan garu to wrap this current project also a day lesser than that”. He added, “But that doesn’t mean we will just pack it up, but we have to finish good work in lesser time”.

We hear that the producer and director, C Kalyan and KS Ravikumar are now feeling pressurized to meet the demand of Balayya. Because Balayya is able to stretch all his times for the film, while other actors and actresses are not able to meet his speed, a source revealed.

However, after witnessing how films that are shot for longer times have met disastrous fate in the recent times, as they ended up cost failures, Balayya is obviously right. Isn’t he?

Megastar’s prestigious 150th project took years to go on floors and it looks like there is no difference with 151st now. Despite the confirmations and mega announcements coming already, things are said to be moving at a dead pace. For all those mega fans waiting out there, is there any celebration in next two days?

Actually, when the film “Sye Raa” which revolves around the life and times of first-ever Indian freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy was announced on August 22nd on Chiranjeevi’s birthday eve, it’s said that regular shooting will commence in a month. And then, October 20th is fixed as a date for the film to go ahead with shooting schedules. However, till date rumors have come out that script is yet to be locked, pre-production for VFX works is delaying film and so on, but no solid announcement has come out.

And now, there are only two days to go for the said October 20th date and there is no clarity if the shooting is really starting. One wonders why Chiranjeevi is delaying the film even after it is announced.

Some sources revealed that writers Paruchuri Brothers and dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra are working on some scenes under Surender Reddy’s leadership, as instructed by Chiranjeevi. Let’s see if the film really starts its shooting anytime soon or not.
