Few actor-director combinations are most awaited and a movie of Mahesh Babu in Rajamouli direction is undoubtedly one of them. Though there were enough rumors about a movie in their combination, Mahesh and Rajamouli too spoke in brief in different context but never confirmed its happening. Now, Mahesh threw some light on this old yet interesting topic.

Unlike previous contexts, Mahesh Babu gave some clarity this time saying that a film in their combination is happening, but not until next year. Mahesh Babu was busy promoting his Spyder and spoke to electronic media last night.

Mahesh reportedly hinted the movie launch somewhere in the second half of 2018. This news is sure to give a reason fo Mahesh fans to celebrate and all focus stays on it once it gets launched.

Mahesh’s ‘Bharath Ane Nenu’ will be coming to theaters in early 2018 and his movie with Vamsi Paidipally will take off from then. So chances are high that Mahesh Babu Rajamouli movie to start shooting from last quarter of 2018 and will be releasing in 2019.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli may plan to finish off a movie with another hero, probably a film that tones down the hype garnered by Baahubali.

In between scoring industry hits at very young age with ‘Aadi’ and ‘Simhadri’, and reviving his career with ‘Temper’, NTR Jr went through a terrible phase. Neither mass entertainers nor his experimental films worked at box office during that period. The ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ has recently opened up about that stagnant phase in an interview and poured his heart out.

‘I saw big hits like ‘Student No.1’, ‘Aadi’ and ‘Simhadri’ at very young age. I was only 22 when ‘Simhadri’ happened. No one can handle such a big hit at such young age. I don’t say that success went to my head but I somehow missed the right direction. I knew that my career was sinking with each failure but I couldn’t do anything.

Everyone told me that I shouldn’t have done that kind of film but no one suggested me about what kind of film I should do at that time. When mass films didn’t work, I did a film like ‘Rakhi’, which received appreciation but it couldn’t make my producer happy. With each failure, I wasn’t sure of what kind of film to do next until the day I made the right decision of choosing ‘Temper’,’ Tarak said.

Superstar Mahesh Babu pinned all his hopes on Spyder which is the costliest ever film made in the actor’s career. He is even making his debut in Tamil and is spending ample time promoting Spyder over there. With NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa hitting the screens and making enough noise, Mahesh is yet to start promoting Spyder in Telugu.

And now, the trailers of Spyder did not reveal much about the film, and Mahesh Babu maintained a very low hype on the movie. It looks like he wants to plunge into action from Monday to bring the much-needed attention for the film. We hear that the actor will promote the movie on Monday and will be available for the whole week throughout during the festival season. Mahesh is in plans to interact with the media, and his interviews will telecast on all the channels. Already he’s doing the same with Tamil channels and might repeat in the case of Telugu channels too.

The actual thing is that, Jai Lava Kusa grabbed all the attention for a while thereby result in a massive opening at box office. Now that the movie is a hit, Mahesh’s team will be facing an uphill task to divert the attention of people towards Spyder. Only if table start to turn from Monday towards Spyder, by Friday the hoopla will be at large.

Responding to the announcement of director Ram Gopal Varma to make a biopic on Sr NTR with the title, “Lakshmi’s NTR”, the late legend’s wife Lakshmi Parvathi said that her permission would be enough to make that film and that the consent of NTR’s sons wasn’t necessary.

‘A film on me and my husband should compulsorily need my approval and it doesn’t need the permission of NTR’s sons,’ Lakshmi Parvathi reportedly said.

She added that some people were constantly embarrassing her saying that she wasn’t the wife of NTR. She declared AP CM and NTR’s son-in-law Nara Chandrababu Naidu as the prime witness for their marriage.

‘A film on NTR must be made. I won’t tolerate if they don’t show the truths. I will give my consent only if they promise to showcase the mental agony he went through during his last days. If they show his life all glittery and happy, I will myself launch a protest against the release,’ she reportedly said.

In the meanwhile, several people targeted RGV after he had announced to make ‘Lakshmi’s NTR’. Balayya has earlier announced a biopic on his father but he is allegedly finding it difficult to finalize the director.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is a true inspiration for many in Tollywood who aspire to become actors. He already witnesses half a dozen actors from his family who have been making their impact in Telugu cinema.

Pawan Kalyan, Ramcharan, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej and Allu Sirish are busy with their own projects. Now Megastar’s son-in-law Kalyan who got married to his young daughter Sreeja will soon be making his debut as an actor in Tollywood.

Kalyan is being specially trained in Vizag by star-maker Satyanand who carved out many leading actors like Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh babu. Kalyan recently wrapped up a three-month crash course through which he has been specially trained for expressions, dialogue modulation, voice diction and the expressions.

Spyder promos were decent but the ‘wow’ factor was missing in them. Buzz around the film didn’t pick up after the launch of trailer and audio.Even Harris Jayaraj’s tunes are ordinary as the album clearly lacks chartbuster numbers. Underwhelming promotions are one of the main reasons for low buzz around the high budget actioner.However, industry insiders say that Spyder has many surprises in store that will thrill the audience.

Like every Murugadoss’s film it has some excellent hero-elevation scenes as well as an intriguing hero-villain faceoff.Murugadoss deliberately avoided showing the interesting part of the film as he wants them to get the maximum thrill in the theaters.Only thing that is not so great in the film is Rakul-Mahesh romance track that not only slows the pace but also very uninteresting, said sources.

Spyder is not a regular commercial film and has elements that strike chord with the youngsters and urban audience.Low buzz because of promos and promotions should be a huge bonus as it is easy to satisfy audience when their expectations are in check.

If the buzz from film circles is to be believed, Vijay Deverakonda will be playing the lead role in one of Mani Ratnam’s future films.The legendary director is reportedly impressed with the young actor’s work in Arjun Reddy. He is very much impressed with Vijay’s performance that he congratulated him and also proposed to do a bilingual film with him shortly.

There were speculations about Vijay D being approached for a multi-starrer in which Simbu is playing one of the leads. However, Mani Ratnam wants to make a solo film with Vijay.According to the buzz, Mani is planning to rope in Vijay for the subject that he prepared for Ram Charan. Mega powerstar was more than willing to do a movie with Mani until Cheliyaa released.

Given the director’s recent form, Charan lost interest in Mani’s film and queued up Koratala Siva’s film after Rangasthalam 1985.Not having any particular image will help Vijay D to make interesting choices and work with unconventional directors.Let’s see whether his film with Mani Ratnam turns into a reality or not.
