Jagan’s Failure Speech Is Also A Failure!

Share

Jagan’s failure speech on Nandyal by-election result is also a big failure. Jagan has neither ‘accepted’ the people’s mandate nor accepted his and his party’s defeat in the by-poll. Jagan continued his blame game and hatred politics even as people outrightly rejected them. His speech right after the verdict is out says that all – Jagan has learnt nothing.

Responding to TDP’s victory in Nandyal with over 27,496 votes majority, Jagan alleged that people voted for TDP as they are ‘afraid’ of the ruling party. Jagan accused government of ‘threatening’ and the opposition leader grossly insults the people of Nandyal by alleging that people took ‘money’ and voted for TDP.

Beleaguered Jagan didn’t stop there. He went onto further state that Chandrababu would be a fool if he takes Nandyal win as his victory. Jagan reasoned that people voted for TDP as it is not a general election but just a by-election.

Even as Jagan’s face looks like a crying baby, Jagan managed to boast confidence and fired on Chandrababu and TDP. Jagan alleged that TDP has spent Rs 200 Crore in Nandyal by-election and challenged Chandrababu to face by-elections in all the 20 other constituencies where YSRCP MLAs joined TDP. Jagan said that he would take that as referendum. Even as YSRCP candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy conceded the defeat and stated that he would respect people’s mandate, Jagan’s blame game on Chandrababu continued.

On the whole, it is pretty evident that Jagan is not able to admit his party’s defeat in Nandyal. His failure speech where he kept on accusing Chandrababu and people of Nandyal indicates that Jagan’s failure speech itself is a big flop.

Babu Satires On Balayya’s ‘Mama Ek Peg La’

Looks like Balakrishna’s ‘Mama Ek Peg La’ hasn’t just attracted his fans, it has also impressed Collection King Mohan Babu, who was the chief guest for Paisa Vasool audio success meet last night.

Mohan Babu has showered praise on NBK saying, ‘Balayya is son of Anna garu (NTR), who’s not just pride to our India, but to the entire world. We both share great bonding and that’s why I’m called to this event. So, I cancelled my visit to Madras and decided to attend this event considering it as my family function.’

Congratulating Balayya for creating history with his films, Collection King has warned Balakrishna for mimicking ‘Anna garu’ (Sr NTR) in one of the songs. ‘Be careful Balayya, I’ll watch the song and definitely call you to provide my feedback if I didn’t like it. How can you do it like him (NTR)? – it’s not possible, you just have acted like him. That’s it!’

The Senior actor further raised a doubt with Balayya about whom he was referring to, with ‘Mama Ek Peg La’ song? – ‘I know that Chandrababu Naidu Garu has no such habit. Then, who should serve you?’ asked Mohan Babu on stage that triggered laughs among audiences.

Finally, Mohan Babu has appreciated the Paisa Vasool actor for his song and he also mentioned about Puri’s ‘fast-pace’ working style in Tollywood.

Dera Baba There, Jagan Baba Here – Babu

Share

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP supreme Nara Chandrababu Naidu sharply criticized the opposition leader and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the election campaign for Kakinada Municipal corporation.

‘We’re seeing Dera Baba there & Jagan Baba here,’ he slammed by comparing the AP opposition leader with controversial baba ‘Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’ who was arrested after finding guilty in a rape case.

Addressing a large gathering at a rally in Jagannadhapuram of Kakinada, Babu said, ‘Jagan’s mindset has been wicked since his childhood. He didn’t even care to listen to his father and he broke many Television sets at home, as response to Rajasekhar Reddy’s advice. Since his father could not handle him and his anger, he’d sent Jagan Reddy to Bengaluru and that’s where he began to learn such illegal activities.’

Babu further attacked him saying, ‘Jagan is suffering fever after learning the fact that YSRCP will lose Nandyal by-election.’

The AP Chief Minister promised several development activities for Kakinada town and said that he will always stand for poor.  “People of Kakinada should unanimously boycott the opposition party and vote for TDP-BJP to win all 48 wards,” urged Babu.

Xiaomi Android Flagship With Dual-Camera Set For ‘Global Launch’ In India Next Week: All you need to know

Share

Chinese smartphone-maker Xiaomi, which is riding high on the overwhelming sales of the Redmi Note 4 and the Redmi 4 series, is all geared up to launch a new mobile next week.

Xiaomi has confirmed that it will host a dual-camera phone unveiling event in New Delhi on September 5, and what’s interesting is that the company says it will be a global launch.

So, what does Xiaomi really intend to showcase next week?

When Manu Jain Kumar, Xiaomi vice president (global) and India head, earlier in the month announced the launch of a new dual-camera phone in the country, many guessed that the recently-unveiled Mi 5X or the Mi 6 would make it to Indian shores.

But, the mention of “global launch” in the invite hints that the company has developed something different and very specific for the Indian market. Rumours are rife that Xiaomi has been secretly working with Google and it might launch an Android One-series mobile with

Many believe the marriage of Google and Xiaomi will benefit both the companies. Google’s first Android One series made its global debut in India in 2014, but it never found traction in the market. The primary reason could be Xiaomi.

How, you ask? Xiaomi entered the Indian market around same time as the first Android One series, and offered phones with much better hardware. This could be the reason the Chinese company has made so much progress in India’s burgeoning cellphone market since then.

Now, it looks like Google and Xiaomi partnership — a match made in heaven — are working together and could be able to attract more patrons, particularly the niche customers who crave for the pure Android experience and good hardware.

Google-Xiaomi will be happy to serve them, in this case the feature-rich Mi 5X and Mi A1 with vanilla Android.

Furthermore, Xiaomi Mi A1 will get faster software updates, as Google will directly support software and roll them out in quick time, like with the Pixel series. This means they will get the latest Android Oreo soon after they hits stores in India.

For those unaware, Google has already commenced globally rolling out the Android 8.0 to

Once launched, the Xiaomi Mi A1 series should kick up a huge storm in the Indian smartphone market, and could help the company shorten the gap with the chart leader Samsung.

For the uninitiated, Xiaomi Mi 5X comes packed with two 12MP OV cameras — one with wide-angle lens and another with Telephoto lens. With dual-camera, the Mi 5X will be able offer the Bokeh effect photo feature and optical zoom.

It also comes with dual-tone LED flash, which will help it capture good quality images under low-light conditions.

YSRCP Zero Out of 10 Rounds

Share

The counting in Nandyal by-elections is going on. Till now, 10 rounds have been completed. YSRCP has won zero out of the ten rounds. Not in a single round, YSRCP got lead over the ruling TDP. This clearly indicates a clear mandate towards TDP and how voters have been favouring Chandrababu’s leadership over Jagan’s.

However, nine more rounds are left. And political analysts opine that majority of these rounds would also favour TDP. With this, it is considered as a huge set back to YSRCP and Jagan who have been considered the poll as referendum to TDP’s ruling.

On other hand, Congress is limited to just three digit number. It secured only 567 votes in 10 rounds.

Keep U.K. In Single Market During Transition: Labour

Share

In a significant shift of policy that creates a clear dividing line between Britain’s two main political parties, Labour has announced that it wants to keep Britain in the European single market and customs union during a lengthy transitional period ahead of Brexit. The party said this would provide the country and its people and businesses with “maximum certainty and stability”.

This policy would involve Britain maintaining freedom of movement with the rest of the European Union (EU) — and in all likelihood require it to not negotiate free trade deals with other countries (including India) — as well as accepting the jurisdiction of European courts during the transition period, providing Britain with “a credible solution to one of the most important issues facing Britain’s exit from the EU”.

The announcement, made by Labour’s Keir Starmer, the shadow Brexit Secretary in an article in The Observer newspaper on Sunday, will deal with some of the recent criticism of the Labour party: that it lacked a clear coherent position on single market and customs union membership, and that it had failed to draw a clear dividing line between its policy on Brexit and that of the Conservatives.

Soft Brexit

The announcement pegs it as the party of what has come to be known as “soft Brexit” versus the stronger stance of the Conservatives, which has come to be known as “hard” Brexit. Earlier this month, the government made clear that it planned to end customs union membership in March 2019, the end of the two-year deadline for Brexit negotiations, as well as freedom of movement, arguing that “taking back control” of laws and borders were two of the key takeaways from the referendum.

However, Mr. Starmer said that Labour’s position would have a number of advantages, not only giving businesses stability and certainty but safeguarding social protections and rights, as well as giving more time to resolve the complex issues around the Northern Ireland border with Ireland.

However, with growing concerns being expressed in recent weeks about the lack of clarity and certainty from the government, particularly from business (the Brexit Secretary David Davis recently raised eyebrows for defending the inevitability of “constructive ambiguity” in the negotiations”), the Labour clarification, will come as a welcome development to many.

Figures published last week had highlighted a sharp rise in EU nationals leaving Britain. This, a leading business organisation CBI warned, was leading to a “loss of vital skills” from the country.

The reversal will put the parties on course for a heated debate when MPs return to the House of Commons from the summer recess to consider the European Union (Withdrawal) Bill. While Labour has to date supported the government’s stance on many issues, accepting that Brexit had to be delivered on, the change in stance could mean the Conservative government could potentially risk defeat, particularly given the sizeable number of MPs within its own party who oppose a hard Brexit.

“If Labour supports being in the single market and an amendment is accepted to that effect very few Tory rebels needed,” tweeted a former senior advisor to ex-Prime Minister David Cameron. The development is also likely to increase pressure on the party to support single market and customs union membership on a more enduring basis.

Nandyal by-poll: PK’s Strategy Flop

Share

Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP has clearly shown its dominance in the Nandyal by-poll against Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP. Naidu’s strategy in focusing on people’s issues and development plank ousted the ‘hatred’ politics of Jagan.

In fact, Jagan has banked on political strategist Prashant Kishor. Yet nothing seems to have helped Jagan and his party. As Chandrababu rightly said, he has been tech-savvy and he stands in the front line when it comes to using technology, social media for campaigning.

The Nandyal by-poll results once again proving Naidu’s words. Also, Naidu correctly stated that political analysts like Prashant Kishore don’t have any work in AP.

The moot question now is whether Jagan would continue Prashant Kishor till 2019 general elections or not.
